History:
A man who was raised by a pair of female Lamia parents. Growing up in a Lamia society, he was known by his Lamian name, 'Alexus' which translates roughly as 'defender of man'. When he was in his teens, he found the truth about his origins, and of his mortal name. He left the Lamia society for a short while as an adventurer and sell sword, having been taught in ways of Lamian Combat made him a rather successful warrior. He later joined a Mercenary Company mostly comprised of the former Scardian Royal Military, and learned some of the Scardian ways of combat.

Scardian Abilities: Like any true Scardian and those born within her borders, Scardians by their very nature have the following stats, thanks to the will of the High King Scar’d upon his ascension into the War God Ranks, centuries ago. It's also these abilities which disqualify many Scardians from world sporting events such as the Mu-Irzik arena, unless specified otherwise.

-Scardian Speed/Agility: All Scardians (those born in her borders), are given unsurpassed speed and agility, much like the War God himself. No matter body type or size, as long as they are still able to use their legs, after the age of thirteen Scardians will feel as though they are the very winds themselves.
-Scardian Healing/Frost & Water Discipline: All Scardians can heal shallow to moderately deep wounds with snow, frost, and water; much like Scar’d had when he was a lad. They are also immune to the cold pinch of the frozen landscapes, the tundras to the north a non-existent obstacle for the average Scardian who can take the cold, and not feel it’s icy bite. Heavier wounds become shallower when ice/water is applied, but will need further medical attention to effectively stop bleeding.
-Scardian Strength: All Scardian born also show an extreme strength that is unlike other races of man or beast-kin. Even beast-kin of Scardian born are given this trait, making them appear like monsters with the ability to lift more than the average human.

History:
Mai Natsume, originally born Matsu Natsume, she was, till the age of about nine, born male. She keeps the reason why, and of who she once was to herself, and has long since came to terms with her gender. To put it bluntly, no, she doesn’t have a penis, and her breasts, though rather large, are natural. An old friend of Makoto Nanaya’s from their time at the Military Academy, the two were rather close in their Academy days. Like Makoto, Mai had learned from Major Sasagae, with brief training from Grimoire Valentine and Tifa Lockheart with the rest of the class. Though the two have not seen one another in years, she still wears the attire Makoto suggested post graduation. In that time since the Military Academy, she became the retainer of Gallia Sufira, a legendary Primal spear. Despite the blade’s ability to teach its wielder how to utilize its full potential, she sought out a mentor to utilize the pole arm to her fullest. She heard rumors of a reclusive spearswoman in the Beijio-Scardia Islands and after a few months, found the eluisve Megaidh Thach. Needless to say, the woman staunchly refused to teach her anything. Instead… she used one of her abilities by kissing Meg, and then transferred the knowledge temporarily to a personal trainer of hers. Though she managed to flee with her life, and gain a great understanding in the way of spearmanship, she still has a ways to go to mastering the skill. In the years after graduation, she also became a Merc and an associate of St. Micheal’s School of Exorcism. This may seem contradictory to her appreciation of mysterious creatures, but in fact, her appreciation for them is what lead her to becoming a student of the Exorcism School. Mai believes, that she may be able to ease the hostility between man and demon, by gaining first hand experience.

To make money on the side, she has been a mercenary, fighting in conflicts she chooses or when the money is running dry; but it is not limited to only combat rolls. She has in the past, act as a courier, bodyguard, and spy for employers. It is through her mercenary work that she met her battle buddy, Elric Cinderwood. Having been paired up with him on many missions she has developed a strong warrior bond with him, and has accompanied him on his journey back home.

-Magic Resistance: has a certain level of Magic Resistance thanks to her Beijionese heritage.
-Beijionese Breathing: she can hold her breath very long compared to other mortals, thanks to her Beijionese Blood.
-Chi Sense: she can sense the 'chi' flow of individuals nearby, especially those with ill intent.
-Thick Skinned: she has mastered a level of physical training where she can resist the effects of physical attacks dished out to her, making her sturdy and able to keep standing even after heavy blows.
-Bullet Cut: she can slice bullets and repel them with multiple, concise, strikes.
-Supertaster/Kiss of Transference: an ability, allowing her tongue to obtain considerable information about what she tasted, including the thoughts of someone who made the food that she ate, but it goes further than that. She can copy someone else's abilities by tasting or kissing them and then transfer them to someone else she kissed, though she is incapable of using these powers herself.
-Soul Burst: Granted with enhanced physical abilities when in dangerous situations, it is the ability to release a burst of energy, the ability to sense the location of allies during combat even with her eyes closed and she was once able to bring down an alchemical barrier that was about to crush her. When using these abilities Mai's pupils become white and her body releases electrical discharges.
-Divine Constitution: she is able to remain conscious even after receiving a blow powerful enough to incapacitate a normal human, so she is hearty enough to take on most demonic blows.She is shown to be able to regenerate her injuries while she is unconscious.  
-Red Bullet: Outseal: A penetrating strike that drains the lifeforce of its victim, by using the wielder's life force as the ‘fuel’ to penetrate the defenses. A side effect of using this move, is that the enemy, if demonic in nature is ‘sealed’ temporarily, and are unable to move (depending on strength of demon it can be a few hours to a few minutes or seconds).  
-Cold Disciplined: She can fortify her body in cold environments, allowing her to stave off the cold air.

History:
Ever the consummate Merc, Ulfgar Virgil Brightblade, or commonly known by his contractors as Virgil/Verge, is always searching for a great opportunity be it the form of easy cash or treasure. Though Scardian born, he moved around a lot as a child, following his father and mother as they traveled around the world in search of 'treasures' left behind by their ancestors. To his parents they were treasures, things left behind by their ancestors, the Last White Blade of Scardia and his sons. He grew up with Scar'd myths and of his ancestors involvement as well as the semi-remembered order of Knights that had been defunct for several centuries. Because of this, he has a sense of self and where he came from, and though these days he hasn't shown it as much, knows how to act like a proper Scardian Noble when necessary.

Unfortunately, his parents never did find any of their ancestors treasures. When he was seven, the family stayed in Beijio to lie low as the world tore itself asunder between the Tenik Inc's fall and Sephiroth's revival. During that time, Beijio was under attack by dark forces conjured by Sephiroth. The beasts summoned by the black winged God of War killed his father, and badly injured his mother. Through that chaos, however, he had found an odd white book that came from a servant leaving the Beijio Palace who had unfortunately perished. It was odd, for no matter how many times hetried to pry it open, it would not yield to him. He decided to hide it, and carry it for the time as the Government gave them refuge. Eventually he showed it to his mother, who also could not get it open, and figured a powerful magic bound them from reading its contents. In Beijio they stayed for a few years, the longest stretch of time he had ever stayed in one place. He did odd jobs to help his mother and remained with her till she passed away when he was fifteen. Not sure what else to do, he enlisted in a traveling band of mercenaries and monster hunters.

Drifting about as a Merc made Verge unfamiliar with settling down. Combat and hardship being his constant companion, the young man knows not to open up fully to other Mercs. In a business where they are friend today and someone he may have to fight tomorrow made him somewhat distant. However, the few ties he has have never been exploited by him, even if tempted by the chance of great personal gain or wealth. Sticking to his roots, he knows not to abandon what friends he has for a quick buck, and personally dislikes any man or woman who would trade their friends or family for a handful of platinum coins. Such cowardice in his eyes is unforgivable.

He is handy among modern technologies and weapons, but is known for his raw strength and use of the Scardian made, Dragonslayer Blade. Being a blade supposedly crafted by Great King Scar'd's decree for a blade that can slay a dragon in one, powerful strike. Notoriously heavy, and being dual edged unlike the Scardian Buster Blades, it is a truly tremendous weapon that is capable of raw damage with a high yielding durability.

Skills:
-Somersault Slash: He can break his enemy's defenses with his massive blade, using it like a pole vault to build up momentum before somersaulting forward with the massive blade in a powerful and quick downward slash.
-Aggressive Swordsmanship: He demonstrates a natural aptitude in the way of swords and great swords, but lacks the greater finesse to make him a swashbuckler or noble knight. Quite the opposite actually, he uses pure rage and his raw strength to belittle his enemy, striking and hacking at them several times till he's backed then into a corner or on their knees, his endless stamina aiding him as he makes his way for the kill.
-Marksmanship: He has a steady hand and a trained eye. He can utilize multiple types of firearms and ranged weaponry and utilize them to their fullest, and in doing so, can be quite the accomplished marksman.
-Stealth Master: To raise his level of accomplishment, he has trained to sneak like a Elf trained in the arts of the Shinobu. He can sneak around the enemy without leaving any trace of his advance.
-Enhanced Climbing & Wall Walking: His agility and speed with his knowledge of climbing allow him to climb tough surfaces with greater ease. His maneuver system also aids in this.

Magic Abilities:
-Hydrokinesis: Virgil can create/generate, shape and manipulate water.

  • Shape Water: He can move, shape and animate water; including compress and manipulate its properties.
  • Steam Blast: He can cause water to explode into volatile steam.
  • Freeze: He can make the water he animates freeze solid.


-Aerokinesis: He wields magical wind and has an affinity for the element of wind.

  • High Jump: He can jump to an alarming height with a conjured compressed air around his body which produces an insane amount of lift.
  • Double Jump: He can jump in mid air, using magically produced air to form a barrier at his feet to help produce more lift.
  • Air Blast: Can send a blast of air like a barrier at his opponents to knock them onto their backs. Can also use this to increase the velocity of his arrows.
  • Air Explosion: Can cause the air to ‘explode’ in a non-lethal concussive blast which ‘pops’ the hearing of his targets.  
  • Healing Wind: Flows a cool breeze which is condensed with a healing aura and helps regenerate wounds to him and/or his allies.


-Geokinesis: He has the power to control earth to a limited extent.

  • Petrification: By touching his foe, Virgil can petrify organic beings, turning them to stone, of various types (ie. Marble, Sandstone, etc).
  • Fissure: He can create fissures by swinging his blade into the earth that travel towards his enemy in a homing fashion.
  • Rock Body: He can cover his entire body with rock like armor.


-Electrokinesis: He can manipulate magical electrical/lightning based energy, and harness it from his surroundings due to his affinity for electricity as well.

  • Static: Virgil can create static around his body.
  • Static Charge: Virgil can flow static around his blade, imbuing it with electricity.
  • Electric Body: He can create an electric ball around his fists, and other parts of his body as well.
  • Thunder: He can summon lightning from the sky. Virgil can also form sparks on the ground and move them upwards.
  • Discharge: He can release an electric discharge by touching his enemies or electronic appliances.
  • Immune to Shock/Electricity: He is resistant to shock or electrical based hazards save demonic extent.


-Cryokinesis: Virgil has the power to control frost, ice and snow to a limited extent.

She wears a strapless bra and low rise panties that are both black in color.

History:
With the curious moniker of ‘Bullet’, she is a quiet Domescadian mercenary, formerly of a larger group of merc’s based out of Illurich Island, a small stretch of jungle between Domescadia and Rolan within the Domescadian Sea. Being very quiet about her past deeds, the fate of her previous crew, who they were exactly, and why she severed those ties have remained a mystery.
Though she is generally serious, she has shown plenty of times of being extremely forward, taking things in a matter of fact manner, and sometimes is oblivious of social norms. Because of her upbringing, or perhaps her mercenary lifestyle, she does not show much knowledge outside of warfare and combat. As far as combat goes, she is straightforward, aggressive; going for shots to the neck, head and groin with her powerful legs or gauntlets. She’s even prioritized the use of makeshift weapons, such as her belt in case she’s unarmed, only to give herself that much of an edge against her enemy.

Spoiler:
It is to be revealed that she is in fact a hybrid werewolf/hellhound cross breed. Starting since her grandmother Katelyn became intimate with the werewolf Vern Silverfallow, her grandfather; the werewolf gene skips a generation, passing her mother and going to Bullet, real name Claire Silverfallow. Claire herself is actually the illegitimate daughter between her mother, Artemis, and her Hellhound father who was not there in Claire’s upbringing. She was raised by her mother and grandmother in central Domescadia. The aging pack leader being a rather strong influence, even more so than her own mother, but being raised in a tribe of wolves has made Claire somewhat racist against the Beastkin of the vulpine blood, given the hate brewed between wolf-kin and kitsune for centuries. Given how they are too proud for their own good, the Wolfkin upbringing makes her feel quite superior in comparison to other Beastkin species, and even to that of other humans.

Her basic appearance is that of a human, but she can gradually shift her appearance to that of a standard wolfkin, but when her body is compelled & driven mad by the lunar light of twin full moons, her body shifts into the more hellish appearance of a hellhound. When in this state, her blood becomes boiling, her flesh hot and with an extreme need to seek pleasure and feast; thankfully for the reader, she has professional control of her traits thanks to her caregiver’s care and love.

Weapons: 2x GG 67 Standards, her Belt, Gauntlets (Scorpion’s Sting): A pair of gauntlets with a metallic bronze coloration that are made for both defense and offensive purposes. The left gauntlet is larger, with an engraving of a scorpion on the surface. This left gauntlet has multiple functions, which is controlled by her left hand’s fingerless control glove:

  • Hidden Blade: A long double edged blade springs forth above her knuckles, the length and size of a small sword. Springs out like a mini pile driver. (Think Lucien’s hidden blade from Underworld)
  • Forcefield Generator: Deploys a class two energy barrier that lasts for a short while, deploying from her arm and encompassing her immediate vicinity.
  • Grappling Device: A high powered grappling line thrower that can launch a reinforced carbon line up to X amount of feet away and embed into almost any surface.
  • Pulse Cannon: A miniature energy cannon that converts the energy used for the Forcefield Generator into a powerful pulse.
  • Room for more upgrades along the way!

Enhanced Physical Condition: Bullet is in excellent physical condition due to both vigorous training as a traveling warrior and jack of trades, while also due to hidden and otherwise supernatural means.

  • Enhanced Senses: Her five senses are greatly enhanced.
  • Superhuman strength: She has an incredible strength that puts her on the level of Scardians and Beast-Kin. In spite of her youth, she has been known to best Scardians in a feat of strength, with a highly toned and hidden strength that is hidden behind the guise of a more slender body. She has shown feats of pure strength comparable to when one undergoes a change thanks to adrenaline, such as being able to lift and throw someone/something weighing up to 483 lbs, if not a little more, with ease.
  • Superhuman reflexes: She is able to dodge several attacks, and counterattack in rapid succession.
  • Superhuman stamina: Her body will only develop fatigue toxins after several hours of physical stress. She can handle incredible physical and mental stamina, with her body able to push past pain and other humanly worries and still keep at task without wearing herself dry.
  • Superhuman dexterity: Her dexterity is even greater than that of a 10th grade black belt.
  • Superhuman speed: Bullet is so fast that she can translocate herself.
  • Durability: Bullet has remarkable physical durability, having suffered through various injuries and attempts at her life from her work as a gun for hire/sell sword. She carries the scars from which with her, but manages to take the brunt of most attacks both magical and physical alike without a major loss of limb.
  • Acrobatics: It is only natural that someone as dexterous as Bullet has a high level of acrobatic feats. She can wall walk, climb freely onto most surfaces, vault off enemies and spin in the motion with her combat motions or twist her body to get the advantage on her enemies and dodge enemy attacks with a supernatural grace that is almost animalistic.

Energy Cutter: She can cut her opponent's opposing energy launched at her, diffusing it with her gauntlets.
Energy Arrow/Bullet: She can power projectiles fueled with her ki energy.

Changing: With only one gesture, Bullet can change clothes within a second.
Climbing: Due to her capabilities, Bullet is an expert climber, and is skilled at free running.
Wall Run: She can run across the flat surfaces of walls for a short period of time, tied in with her climbing abilities.
Weapon Mastery: She is an expert in multiple weapons including various sword styles, axes and polearms, as well as archery & guns.

History: Although she comes across as lighthearted and sweet, Bailey Quinn's not really well storied among other Mercenaries. A somewhat rising upstart in the community, she's noted for her sniping capabilities and upbeat personality in the otherwise cruel world of a gun for hire/sell sword. She works freelance for multiple guilds, but isn't in fact a part of any. She claims to be raised in Ithtecca or Jemial Area, but has clear Izheveskian blood traits. Whatever her reasons for being a mercenary in the first place have never been explored, but she isn't one to deny the company of those who may ask!

The outfit is tailored with magic and mild ballistic resistant fibers that can allow the Countess to deflect certain attacks a few times. History:  
The mysterious leader of Black Anubis, an obscure shadow organization comprised of spies, assassins and mercenaries whose intentions have not yet been made clear. She is called ‘the Countess’, a colloquial title she has preferred over her birth name, at least when addressed by members of her organization or those unfamiliar with her. As the Black Anubis Elder, she holds the group together and keeps the records of their order. She also acts as their supreme military commander when she is directly participating in the field.  

The Beijionese vampire carries the lost knowledge of the Teronian Race, as well as the techniques and histories of many lost and now forgotten people. She has been around for 400 years, collecting lost and often times forbidden knowledge while excavating Anubia. She has trained her members well in the arts of shadow, though they lack Sirius’ blessing they could be compared to the Teronian Shadowblades of old.

The Countess' Past...:
A mysterious Beijionese beauty who hails a private practice in Jemial as a ‘Private Eye’. She was once a detective from the Galideno Police force, but after having to deal with bureaucratic bullshit for several years she turned in her badge and gun and became a lone wolf. Her clients pay her to investigate various cases that the local authorities don’t bother touching and at a cheaper price than the Gunslinger Association. The influx of cases generally revolve around missing persons, a field which Vivienne excels in. Due to her abilities she has a high success rate in solving such cases in a fluid and short time frame.

In some cases she has been hired to spy on others, dive into the questionable backgrounds of some dangerous individuals. Her training and abilities however make up for such potential hazards, and have allowed the woman to get by without loss of life or limb… so far.

She doesn’t speak much about her childhood or upbringing, with only an old crinkled photo of her parents as personal keepsake she carries on her person at all times.

Shadow Warp: Teronians can warp themselves or other individuals with their shadows to almost anywhere. Apprentices can warp anywhere in the same location (a city, town, etc.), Masters can warp anywhere in the same region (a Country), and those who are ‘Avatars of Shadow’ can warp with no restriction given if they know the location they are headed (Abdel Adham, T.O.M.). The darkness from which they form generally appears as a fog or smoke of black coloration with deep blue electrifying sparks riddled throughout the cloud. They can also warp people or objects into other creatures or objects if they are of Master level.
Shadowblade Conjuration: They can summon and forge hardened blades made of shadow, and can summon endless supplies of them.
Shadow Pocket: They can hold items in ‘hammer space’ created from their darkness. Pulling blades or other useful items from this space whenever they need it.
Warp Strike: They can throw weapons and then warp to the location of the weapon that was thrown.
Cat-Like Acrobatics: Many are gifted with the grace and movement of a cat, able to balance themselves should they need to.
Shadow Breathing: Should they be in an environment where they cannot breathe, they can cover their nose and mouth with their shadows and open a pocket of air close by in order to breathe.
Redirecting Shadows: When trained well enough, Shadowblades can redirect projectiles of varying speeds with a mixture of Shadow Pocket and Shadow Warping abilities; objects that travel through their smoke maintain their velocity as they had when entering the void space, allowing the Shadowblade to ‘redirect’ the projectiles by placing shadows tactically close to offending party, releasing their own projectiles upon them.
Shadow Gate: They can fully, or partially appear from any form of shadow they themselves conjure or from preexisting shadows. Capturing one is a very tricky practice, so is keeping one in your stomach if you’re into that sorta thing Wink
Dark Vision: a Shadowblade’s eyes are so well enhanced that they can see farther than most mortals or even demonic creatures. They can also see in total absence of light, and make out shapes just as easily had there been a light on in such an environment.

  • Bladeplay and Hand to Hand Combat: She was trained since she was three in the arts of Bushin, and practicing both martial arts and bladework. She can disarm an opponent with stunning blows coated with her Ki (which continues a numbing sensation long after the blow has been dealt), slash and hack at an enemy, or combine a mixture of throws and counter attacks to debilitate her enemy. This training from traditional Beijionese values broadened when she joined the Galideno Military and later the Galideno Police Division.  
  • Psionic Abilities: With meditation, and locking away all senses she can focus and receive astral messages, or project her thoughts to another individual or being she is attempting to communicate telepathically with.
  • Pique Physical Conditioning: Due to her inherent skills, genetics and her excellence in physical and mental training, she is a woman that is capably trained and able to handle almost any physically & mentally stressful scenario she is tasked. Due to her age and body she somewhat surpasses the average female woman of her age group in terms of her physical capabilities.

    • Strength: Blessed with not only a durable, agile body, the Countess has a toned body that allows her to pull off feats of strength. With a concentrated punch or kick, she can send a Scardian male of about 6’6 to his knees with a direct blow to either their chest, face or groin (but most men would anyhow for the latter Wink). She can handle the recoil of powerful, high powered weapons as well as carry them with greater ease. But not only weapons, she can shoulder, push, or even carry large objects or people three times her size with some strain, but still able to, excuse the pun, “carry on”  
    • Durability: She has remarkable physical endurance, her body that is naturally repellent against most magical influences/attacks combined with her durable bone structure and thick skin allows her to tank most physical and magical forms of punishment than a normal mortal. This is in part to genetic traits, both Beijionese and otherwise. She can take multiple forms of punishment with general ease, and her body is resistant to higher pressures, heat and even acidic environments at a slightly longer durations than a typical mortal human.
    • Stamina: She has pique physical conditioning given military training and some genetic traits shared by her father. She doesn’t tire out easily, and can both dish out and defend against powerful multiple blows at once and withstand their effects without being sapped of energy. She also has a high alcohol tolerance, can go without sleep for longer durations, perform multiple rigorous and physically draining activities without breaking much of a sweat.
    • Agility: Her conditioned agility comes from her inherent Gunslinger abilities, and of her military training. She is shown to be also quite flexible, and dexterous. She is fast, quick to react and thusly able to draw a weapon within a blink of an eye.
    • Accuracy: The Countess is a deadly markswoman, brought on from her inherent Gunslinger abilities, and her training in the Military and the Police Department. She can sink a round with a handgun nearly 1000 yards away from her with precision accuracy. Her rounds are generally precise, and dead on when she has a space and time to aim.
    • Acrobatics: With her agility, stamina, strength, and accuracy, the Countess can execute various acrobatic feats, and dodge oncoming attacks that she can see or hear coming at her. She can also perform these acrobatics in limited space, having trained her body to push itself to its limits, she can stretch, jump and bend her way around her environment or simultaneously defend herself and attack from multiple/very large enemies if her timing is good.  



Vampire Abilities: Being turned into a vampire by Reiri Kamura who pitied her after Viv became a mindless ghoul addicted to Lucretia Mistwhisper’s blood. She has since, gained the following vampiric capabilities:

  • Enhanced reflexes and supernatural speed: The Countess has the ability to react and move faster than others can react, especially if they are human, but there have been some exceptions. She can jump higher than most mortal creatures, and has otherworldly acrobatic abilities
  • Charm and Influence: She has the vampiric ability to charm others almost to mesmerise them
  • Blood Regeneration: The Countess has the the ability to regenerate by drinking blood.
  • Feather Fall: She can drop from incredible heights without injury, due to her body seemingly to 'glide' down, rather than falling.
  • Translocation: The Countess can move quickly to somewhere nearby.

Deadeye: Move only Gunslingers have that allow them to see oncoming bullets.
The Sight: a telepathic and supernatural form of vision which is only inherited by true born Gunslingers. This allows the user's Godlike keen eyesight to accurately measure distance, length, height, weight, age, and even can read minds sometimes.


Skills:
Climbing: She is an expert with climbing surfaces, and is skilled at free running.
Wall Run: She can run across the flat surfaces of walls for a short period of time, tied in with her climbing abilities.
Quick Draw: The Countess can draw her weapons rather quickly, holstered or otherwise.
Multiple Attacks: The Countess can hack and slash multiple times without wearing out, and even while wielding two weapons (two melee, two firearms, a melee and firearm, etc) at a time.
Deflection: The Countess can use her leather jacket to deflect projectiles of magic sorts with proper timing, and can deflect bullets with either her own bullets or with a proper blade/instrument.
Spiritual Shot: Transforms the bullets one is using into a shard of highly penetrative purified light, causing severe damage to enemies made of darkness, and demons.
Rapid Reload: Reloads Guns almost instantly, no matter the capacity.
Bullet Barrage: Fires bullets into bullets that have already been landed, causing deadly shrapnel to form within the target.
The Dark Arts: The Countess has several powers related to Darkness, like her father Galaerion.
Energy Shield: The Countess can create a shield of energy in front of her.
Fast Attacks: The Countess can attack multiple times at fast speed.
Battlesuit Energy Absorption: The Countess's suit can leech the energy of her opponents techniques ambient energy, increasing her power.

Galaerion’s Techniques: Techniques used by her father, Galaerion. Studying his personal methods and accounts from Oromov for the past four centuries have allowed her to tap into her father’s skillset:

Jagai Kusetsu: - An overhead smash punch designed to get around low guards.


Zankaze Enpa: Ouga: - One of the four battlesuit skirt blade attacks. This variant of the technique is both the launcher, that sends opponent skyward as it eviscerates, and the reflector, as the power of the blades enable it to redirect energy projectiles directed at the Countess.

Zankaze Enpa: Hankyou: - Acrobatics and agility combined with the eviscerating bladed hemline makes this variant an overpowering distorting attack.


Zankaze Enpa: Satsuma: - Identical to the Hankyou variant, The Satsuma gains considerable height in it's launch, granting it much more destructive power.


Shikka Koujin: - One of the shadow art techniques, the Shikka Koujin has the Countess trap the foe in shadowy energy, before generating a powerful shockwave that blows them away.


Mabukousou: - This Shadow Art is more simple than the Shikka Koujin, in that it merely holds the foe in place, while the Countess warps in, and unleashes four devastating strikes to the foe, laying them flat on the ground with several broken bones.


Gokusa Zanjin: - This technique combines several of the Bladed Hemline techniques into a combination of flurrying blades. To most targets, this technique is not only fatal, but can reduce the body to quivering giblets.


Hakura Messhou: - Of all the shadow arts in the Countess's repertoire, the Hakura Messhou is perhaps the most deadly and by far the most destructive. The Countess generates a localized black hole through the power of her shadow arts, and within it's vortex, dark energies strike any foe within 200 feet of her.

Artillery Shot: A magic like ability that causes the projectile one's using to become armour piercing.
True Grit: A magical like skill that physically toughens the Gunslinger's body, allowing them to take more damage that would be considered 'fatal' to non gunslingers.

History:
A feline mercenary and the older twin sister of Giana Loneheart; both the younger siblings of bounty huntress Viviana Loneheart. The fraternal twins have been close since their mother passed away and their eldest sister took off to see the world. The pair live together in their hometown of Breland, a beautiful port city off of Rolan’s coast. Kiana works full time as a mercenary and muscle for hire, freelancing her combat skills to various individuals to make a profit, even if it sometimes dips into the ‘morally gray’ area at times.

She is described as being malicious towards her enemies, and being a very self-confident bitch at best of times. Highly protective (and slightly envious) of her younger sister Giana, she has used her claws to get the point across to a few individuals interested in her stocky sibling immorally.

Their father was a man by the name of Brandon Loneheart, who had joined the DarkSEED after they were born. Kiana has some memories of him, though Giana and Kiana were six when he was killed in action; protecting T.I.R.S. agents fleeing Breland’s Tenik Headquarters when the DarkSEED schism occurred.

About a month ago, Kiana had been working on a private security score alongside a monster by the name of Rhugra Nileesh. Once completing their jobs, the two went to celebrate, where Kiana, unbeknownst to Rhugra at the time, called in some old enemies of his. While he dealt with them and got arrested, she took his share of the earnings from their job. In her defense, the twin’s financial situation had become somewhat desperate after a long drought without work.

History: A young man who is a member of ‘The Punishers’ Mercenary Guild, and works through them like other freelance mercs. He grew up on the streets of Danton as an orphan after an attack on the capital city in 2639 left him without a home and a family. It was a tough upbringing, and he worked through it through odd jobs and thievery. He learned how to silently approach his marks and had at least three possible escape plans if he failed to follow through. He started smoking as a kid, and stealing cigs helped hone his abilities and habit. He was eventually recruited by The Punishers when he was around fifteen, and he stuck with them since.

He admires women, especially the ‘gifted’ ones, when it comes to various aspects. Though lecherous with intentions, it was meeting Fukami ‘Chibi’ Chiba within the Merc Guild that lead him to quit smoking after she clearly made it clear to him she detested the smoke. He has since become addicted to lollipops, to help cope with the addiction. Even though it's been three years since he quit smokes, he’s still stuck on the lollipops!

He has a good relationship with most members of the Merc Guild, and horses around with them when the mood is dull. He is a remarkable scout, but has varied skills that make him an effective sniper and point man if needed. Health Background:
DarkSEED Gene Therapy Injection: He was injected with 'Crimson Genes' like other members of DarkSEED, despite his Scardian Heritage. This injection alters the DNA and cells within DarkSEED soldiers. The alteration allows the candidate Soldier to be able to recover quickly from attacks and loss of stamina. Like them, he is more physically condensed and is able to perform a number of movements that one without the the therapy wouldn’t be able to do. His agility was also enhanced, and dexterity and accuracy is above moderation.

History:
A once proud warrior of the House De'Chaunt of Scardia, he once served with the Scardian Royal Military & Navy and was even a member of the King's Guard before he decided to live the more exciting life as a soldier under Tenik Incorporated, following the Beijio Civil War in 2630. He enlisted with Tenik, and eventually rose through the ranks to Lieutenant. By the end of the war, he was a 4th Degree Captain, and became one of the first formally inducted 'DarkSEED' Soldiers. In 2638, he became a fifth degree Captain, able to dawn the red shroud of the General Class Elite and was given his own Quarters upon the HighWind. Karadin was always an interesting sort within Tenik, as he was the fibre which allowed Tenik some success in Scardia when it came to business opportunities. He was also not at all distant from the troops he commanded, and was endearingly referred to as 'Captain Scar'd' among his fellow DarkSEED enlisted Scardians. Rufus Tenik gave him the command of the symbiotic airship which connected itself to the HighWind known as 'The Clipper', a long and wide blade shaped airship that had a crew of 150, with the Captain at its helm making 151.

In the latter end of 2639, Captain Karadin was ordered to give chase to Rebels flying over the Beijio-Scardia Islands. It was unfortunate, for the leader of the rebels was Karadin's childhood friend, Vodveilk Graywatch. The two battled it hard in the sky, boarding each others airships in modern Scardian style. They were unable to fell the other, but oddly enough, the Captain 'saved' Vod from certain doom aside from some injuries that would be carried with him for his days when the Clipper began to break apart. Karadin watched Vod from afar, as his burning ship began to fall out of the sky with a rueful grin before the clipper nose dived into Shi no Shima.

After that, most assumed the Clipper and its crew were destroyed. They were forgotten, and left to rest. However, the dead seem to have hard time staying dead upon the island of the dead...

Karadin had survived the crash with fifty of his personnel. The DarkSEED forces with Scardian blood were the only ones to have survived thanks to the ocean's waters and the heavy rain which had poured. All others had perished. They all made attempts to raise an SOS, but Shi no Shima was an oddity, and no communication was ever received. Quickly the Island bit back, and one by one his crew began to dwindle further. Years passed, and supplies low. He watched as good men were devoured by flora and fauna, or even their own sanity claim them with the barrels of their own guns. Karadin eventually was the last remaining soldier, but still held onto hope that someday he would be able to leave the dreaded island.

Scardian Abilities: Like any true Scardian and those born within her borders, Scardians by their very nature have the following stats, thanks to the will of the High King Scar’d upon his ascension into the War God Ranks, centuries ago. It's also these abilities which disqualify many Scardians from world sporting events such as the Mu-Irzik arena, unless specified otherwise.

-Scardian Speed/Agility: All Scardians (those born in her borders), are given unsurpassed speed and agility, much like the War God himself. No matter body type or size, as long as they are still able to use their legs, after the age of thirteen Scardians will feel as though they are the very winds themselves.
-Scardian Healing/Frost & Water Discipline: All Scardians can heal shallow to moderately deep wounds with snow, frost, and water; much like Scar’d had when he was a lad. They are also immune to the cold pinch of the frozen landscapes, the tundras to the north a non-existent obstacle for the average Scardian who can take the cold, and not feel it’s icy bite. Heavier wounds become shallower when ice/water is applied, but will need further medical attention to effectively stop bleeding.
-Scardian Strength: All Scardian born also show an extreme strength that is unlike other races of man or beast-kin. Even beast-kin of Scardian born are given this trait, making them appear like monsters with the ability to lift more than the average human.
-Gene Therapy: 'Stamina'= His stamina is off the charts than a normal person. He can handle harsh environments, physical abuse, and dish out a number of strenuous activities without breaking a sweat.
-Gene Therapy: 'Strength'= His strength has been modified by his gene therapy, able to make his body almost become as hard as steel, and able to withstand weapons with high recoil with general ease. His punches pack a serious wallop which could even harm the scaly hide of an otherwise armoured beast.
-Gene Therapy: 'Dexterity'= His handwork and reflexes have been genetically altered, giving him a lightning fast quick draw as well as a highly reactive body.

History:
A scholar and Mage of the Black Anubis Sorority/Brotherhood, trained by Dark Knight Tessa Deathcaller. Like her instructor, she acts as a researcher and dark mage for their cause. She originally hails from Ryunoshi Island, and being of Beijionese decent, is resistant to most forms of magic, as well as being physically durable. Though highly more proficient with her magical abilities, she is also trained to handle herself in a physical brawl.
A unique ability of hers involves singing, which can lull her enemies into a ‘placid’ state. Her voice becomes so soothing, it is assumed by her other sisters and brothers in arms that she has channeled her magic into her voice. A decent theory, considering she rarely converses. She is rather studious, and will rarely leave her study or the Grand Library unless ordered. She has been with Black Anubis for most of her youth, and is still riding the path to becoming a Dark Knight.
Though quiet, she has been shown to be rather kind to her fellow sisters, and has a cover studying as a student in Beijio City. Her codename ‘Lilith’ comes from her notoriety for having once summoned a Succubi and forging a contract with the demon.

    • Acrobatics: Hinako has been shown to be a remarkable acrobat, for many of the Guild’s members are required to be proficient climbers and athletes. Though her curvy and average mortal frame might pose some issues, she is as gifted as any of the Guild’s Apostles in the field of acrobatics, which requires a deal of accuracy, agility and smart use of stamina.


  • Unique- Siren’s Voice: Hinako’s voice is like that of the Siren- able to lull her enemies into a stupor and pacify them while simultaneously lure them to her. Is not always effective. While singing, her voice can restrict magic for all who can hear her, and lasts till she stops singing.

History:
A gun for hire, Maxine Rebecca Greyson, also known as ‘Clover’ is a highly trained professional soldier who formerly worked as a Recon with the Allied Defense Network. She’s been around the mercenary field her entire life, her father was Fifth Degree General Maxwell Greyson of the DarkSEED Private Military of Tenik Corporation, and her brothers Maxamillion and Maxson were members of DarkSEED Vanguard and her eldest brother Max, a part of the T.I.R.S., while her mother, Charlotte, held a civilian office job at the Breland Head Quarters for Tenik Corp.

In 2639, her life changed drastically. Her brother Max was hunted and gunned down by members of DarkSEED during their schism, following Rufus Tenik’s supposed death. Maxwell refused to take part in the hunting of his fellow comrades and was brutally injured and imprisoned. Maxamillion was shot inside the Breland Tenik H.Q. when defending T.I.R.S. Director and Honorary President of Tenik, Revan Uptincross. Her father, being in the dark of the coup, went to confront the conspirators with a group of his most trusted DarkSEED soldiers, going against protocol and rebelling against the Crimson Knight Brigade, only to be wiped out alongside his men when holding a fortification in Scardia. Her mother was lucky to be spared, and later on when full scale war was erupting across every major city, Maxine and her mother were almost killed during Ling-Ling’s rampage throughout Breland.

Maxine, Maxson and Charlotte survived the chaos of the ‘39 era, but in spite of it all, could not help but follow the family tradition six years later. She joined the ADN at the age of 17, trained as a Recon and saw combat against CKB forces throughout various countries. She was injured in combat at twenty, and was honorably discharged for she was not mentally fit for redeployment. She worked for a time as a bartender before joining up with the Punishers Mercenary Guild. Having little unique abilities compared to the lot she signed up with, she makes up for it with hard work. She has a rebellious spirit, and tends to push herself past the brink.

She is however, nicknamed ‘Clover’ for her very cautious behavior when scoping out new locations, and driving military vehicles over cautiously.

History:
Li Houtou is a Beijionese explorer and mercenary who originally hails from Cryin Island, and is an older cousin of the Imai twins, Nagisa and Kagura Imai. Formerly a Sargeant Major in the ADN, she was a combat medic and an officer within the ADN’s Rescue Teams. She was, however, dishonorably discharged for not ‘playing nice’ with her superiors. Unlike her cousins, she’s not an ADN drone and spoke her mind, perhaps a tad louder than she should have at times.

Historically, she was born during the Beijio Civil War, her family in support of the Island Rebels. Her life almost ended as a child when the Imperial Army & Scardian Navy sacked most of Cryin Island in 2633. She has mixed feelings about the event as an adult, but doesn’t necessarily points the blame on any one source.

Her hobby is exploring, and is one of the few brave souls on Galiavan willing to delve into the lesser known locations on the deadly planet. Given her combat abilities, she also works as a freelance mercenary and privatized security. She is a carefree spirit who does what she loves, and says what's on her mind and showing off. Somewhat conniving and manipulative, she knows her curvaceous appearance can influence and charm others with little work needed, and has been known to take advantage of her body.

Scardian Abilities: Like any true Scardian and those born within her borders, Scardians by their very nature have the following stats, thanks to the will of the High King Scar’d upon his ascension into the War God Ranks, centuries ago. It's also these abilities which disqualify many Scardians from world sporting events such as the Mu-Irzik arena, unless specified otherwise.

-Scardian Speed/Agility: All Scardians (those born in her borders), are given unsurpassed speed and agility, much like the War God himself. Not your typical Usagimimi, Yvonne/Evie ‘Valkyre’ Fairtail is a hardened warrior and assassin. She is a freelance Merc, meaning she’ll work for anyone for the right price, with services ranging from escorting your ass, smuggling, to infiltrating facilities and killing. Being the sole survivor of her family, she tries not to get too close to her clients nor people in general, finding such attachments a ‘hassle’. She keeps one eye hidden by a patch, and is assumed to have lost the eye underneath when she lost her family years ago. Other than that, not much else is known about her, save you can find her in most bars across Galiavan or even on the Moon Base.

Traits & Special Abilities:

-Double Jump: due to her natural springing step and highly efficient leg definition, Usagi-mimi can double jump and thus leap higher and farther than the average human.

-Enhanced Sound Detection: Due to an Usagimimi's long, sensitive ears, they can pick up sounds from farther distances than a normal human being, and thus can react quicker to ambushes. They can also easily detect the source of the sound with pinpoint accuracy. She can rotate her ears to pick up the slightest of noises and channel another octave higher than most mortals are allowed to hear. She can even rotate her ears individually to pick up on the sound. A common trait for Nekomimi and Usagimimi.

-Enhanced Scent Tracking: She can catch a scent, blood, sweat, what have you, and be able to track it with her nose. Common Beast-Kin trait for Beasts with scent tracking capabilities. Usagimimi can catch a scent in the crowd and isolate it, and then pin point it's source; just not as effective as wolves or foxes.

-Seismic Detection: Using her toes or fingers, Usagimimi can pick up faint vibrations in the earth, allowing them to accurately dig into the earth without trapping themselves; at the same time it can help alert them of possible underground enemies as well.

-Low-Light Vision: An Usagimimi can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, and other conditions of shadowy illumination.

-Tunneler: Usagimimi can tunnel into soft earth with blinding speed, aiding them in there escape if enemies are too great in number.

-Natural Claws: Usagimimi have sharpened nails on their fingers as well as their toes. This allows them to dig into the earth or in turn, their enemies.

-Resistant Teeth: Usagimimi have sharp and toughened healthy teeth, which will allow them to break open nuts without inducing any harm onto them.

-Flight of Fear: Since Usagi are timid and shy creatures, when they sense danger or feel threatened they will actually increase their dexterity and speed for three posts, allowing them to flee an enemy with a 100% chance of success with evasion; but after 3 posts they are vulnerable due to straining their bodies in escaping; they can reuse this skill once it has already been used after letting themselves rest their bodies for six posts.

-Enhanced Leg Strength: She is physically more stronger than most mortals without physical training in regards to her kicks and leg maneuvers. As stated, Evie can splinter and smash through a Scardian Ironbark Tree as if it were a wet paper bag. This is a common trait for her kind, so a blow from an Usagi’s legs can be devastating. A common Usagimimi trait.

-Enhanced Speed: She moves quickly, unhindered and with more grace than a human, but isn't as fast as a Scardian. Common Beast-Kin trait.

-Energy Bounce Back: You know what they say about Rabbit-Kin/Usagimimi? They just keep going...and going and going. Almost nothing outlasts them. Their bodies are filled with a lot of energy and stamina, and can endure hours of physical stress and are able to manage their fatigue. If motivated, their energy is able to bounce back from the brink of exhaustion. As you can tell, it can be hard to sleep in such conditions, and it doesn’t entirely go without hurting them in the long run if continuously active.

-Disarm: Evie utilises close quarters disarming techniques of stripping a humanoid of its weapon.

-Stealth: Evie utilises the cover of darkness or her environment to blend in and stalk her targets, moving with absolute silence given the soft padding of her feet.

-Advanced Sniping: She is an avid shootist and markswoman, with the ability to effectively snipe her enemies with a ranged and scoped rifle.

-Dual Wielding: She is an avid shootist and markswoman, and has mastered the practiced art of wielding two weapons accurately at once, generally handguns or submachine guns/machine pistols.

-Quick Reload (Dual Wielding): With years of practice, she can reload two revolvers, pistols or machine pistols with a quick and graceful ease that is almost instantaneous. She’s mastered this with revolvers. For revolvers, she generally uses side swing or snap down types, then flips the weapons around, slips the barrels between her hips and her wrists, takes the speed loaders from the front belt pouches, slips them into the chambers, then grabs the weapons by their grips again and swings the cylinder cranes closed or snaps the barrels up as she ‘re-draws’ said revolvers.

-Bone Breaking Judo: Evie uses a grapple fighting style that focuses on throwing her enemy as well as kicking. From a disarming choke hold to a mortal projectile, the style focuses on taking out multiple enemies at once by throwing them into one another with concussive force, or by slamming them into the environment.

-Eleokinesis: Yvonne can create/generate, shape and manipulate oils and substances refined from them, which are defined as substances that are liquids at ambient temperatures and do not mix with water but may mix with other oils and organic solvents..

  • High Jump: She can jump to an alarming height with a conjured compressed air around her body which produces an insane amount of lift.
  • Quadruple Jump: She can perform her natural double jump, then in mid air, conjures magically produced air to form a physical barrier at her feet to then double jump again, producing a staggering amount of lift.

A seemingly lost native from the newly re-appeared Gendoshima Island, she has travelled to the mainland continents and the Beiji-Scardia Islands to venture out into a new world not seen by natives of Gendoshima for supposedly hundreds of years. She seems a bit naive and mischievous, but she has an honest and good heart, willing to help those suffering darker days.

In reality she is a Dark Knight from the Black Anubis Mercenary Guild, a rather secretive order whose members varies but most of which are female. She’s been with the order since her pregnant mother joined after Lady Hiyori Busujima’s clan fell in late 2282. She has yet to train with her mother on the fundamentals of ninjutsu, but given the near immortal nature of the kitsune, she has plenty of time.

She became friends with one Lucy Deltora, an adventurer mage like herself who unfortunately went missing about ten years ago. Being busy working for the Guild, she hasn’t had the chance to look into her missing friend’s vanishing… till now.

Inventory-

Weapons: Her magic, and physical capabilities; as she does not generally rely on one specific physical weapon, and usually employs her physical and magical prowess in combat. However, she does wield both a common iron knife, and an anvil hammer.

Possessions: Dead mobile phone, some condoms (extra strength), canteen, the ‘wrong’ map.

Misc.-
Special Abilities*:

Highly acrobatically inclined with a decent level of skill in both physical and magic based combat. Some may think she is a demon, others may think she is a Beast-Kin. As a Yokai, she is technically leaning towards the side of demons, but in a more spiritual light; creatures such as she are based through the nature of the land, tied to it even. As one of these Guardians, she can fend her own and those under her protection with extreme, albeit, mischievous prejudice. To fight a Kitsune of 9 tails unprepared, is a great way to make yourself disappear and never be seen again... or... at least, perhaps not in the next three weeks, to a half hour, or three centuries... Kitsunes have their uses of such stupid people ;3

Kitsune MagiK

Fox-Fire- An ability granted to all Kitsune. She can conjure a ball of reddish fire from up to 6 feet away from her body. The flame is searing hot and can burn on contact.

Tail Fire- As it is possible for some Kitsune, she can shoot fire from each of her tails, in various directions.

Illusion- To a kitsune, their illusions are reality. What they make, for them, and for others, is as real as anything found or crafted in nature. Anything that a kitsune builds or transforms, becomes what the kitsune desired. A kitsune can make people, animals, and objects, which can't be distinguished from the real thing. The more kitsune team up to make things, the more can be made. A handful of kitsune can build a city if they desired. For a quick escape, she often likes to blow her Kiseru, which causes a sudden explosion of acrid tobacco smoke, then seemingly she vanishes from the murk...

Realms- Kitsune, as spirits, have abilities that are hard to explain. One is the kitsune's domain. Kitsune are able to make small pockets in reality, folding space and time to suit their needs. They can turn a hole under a floorboard into a small estate, and turn a small field into a kingdom, complete with people, animals, and weather. Time seems to flow faster inside these realms. For every day in the real world, up to seven years can pass in the realm, for those who are in it. She has a servant fox named "Genji" and various clones of herself in goofy or odd looking forms.

Skulker- Kitsune are able to hide undetected from others with ease, given the appropriate cover.

Low-Light Vision- Kitsune can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.

Spirit Qualities- A character with Spirit Qualities is immune to all charm effects except for those of other spirits. She is hedged out by effects that hedge out outsiders.

Swift- A creature which is Swift moves at a faster speed than its physical abilities would seem to permit.

Support Magic

Kitsune Seduction- A form of mind control, the kitsune ability of 'seduction' is one of the most commonly-mentioned skills in legends. By using her tail or tails in a swaying manner, or by meeting the gaze of a target, the kitsune is capable of taking over their mind. While under the control of the kitsune, the victim sees, thinks, and lives in a world designed by the kitsune, all inside the target's mind. The target is controlled until someone breaks the magic the kitsune's using. This mind control is purely by magic, mind you, and can be broken by certain magics, or wards. Alice likes to employ this technique towards mortal or kitsune men of her fancy, though the latter isn't usually susceptible to her full powers of seduction, being a Kit themselves.

Kitsune Void Pocket- A small space which can be easily accessed by Alice or a Kitsune of similar rank. This particular space is accessed via the intimate space between her robes, that is, bluntly, between the cleavage of her breasts. She can store various items, like weapons, pouches and what not into this pocket of nearly limitless space. The only limit is an entire person, though this has never been attempted, the chance is highly unlikely since the 'opening' into this pocket is roughly about the diameter of her arm, but she could always shrink them Wink *squish squish* O w O

Fox Lantern- summons 'fox lanterns', which are floating dancing lanterns that can light her path.

Shapeshifting- She can shape shift her body to any way she likes.

Shifting Mind- A kitsune's shapeshifting abilities make her resistant to mental attacks.

Giant Shape- She can take the form of a giant 25 feet in length. While transforming, her body erupts in flames, her appearance remaining much the same. While in this form, her size also becomes an asset, as well as both natural and manmade weapons and magic becoming vastly enhanced, and incredibly deadly.

Fast Shifter- She was born with an innate talent for switching between her natural and mortal forms, and can do so almost instantaneously.
