Comrades of Gilded Tree

This is a topic made for characters who are part of the organization of Gilded Tree, the Elite Militaristic Mage unit and the best that the country of Fenira have to offer. It was founded to protect Fenira, a rather small island country, from other countries despite the fact that is mostly neglected and frowned upon by said other countries. To keep the real threat of losing their country to outsiders, the Gilded Tree Guild was formed. It's members consist mostly of highly trained Magi and Mages, though those who are untrained or unable to utilize the use of magic are also adopted in the group if they have adequate abilities and intelligence needed to make the cut.

It is run by a "Commandante", a Commander, who acts as the Guild's Leader and highest officer. The current leader of the Guild is one Agusta Jeanette Luisa Salazar III.

However, under Agusta's command the group became power hungry, and the ambitious leader lead a successful coup against the Feniran Government; not sparing a single member of the Council of Magi and then taking complete control over the country. Families of the Council were also eliminated, and Agusta Salazar has complete totalitarian control of the country.  

The members of Gilded Tree are usually outfitted with armor or modern day uniforms or even a mix of both. This armor has elements of black, red, and gold in it's colour scheme. In the country where it was mandated by law that everyone was to wear the colors red, the uniform does stand out well among the populace of Fenira. High ranking officers, like the Commander and the Deputy Commander wear the standard black armour/uniform, as well as a white coloured officer's coat and/or a white coloured officer's uniform.

Due to the Commandante's role as a La Dictadora of Fenira, Agusta has established a new but drastically simplistic ranking system among the members and comrades of Gilded Tree to help evenly distribute power among the members of GT:

Soldier: The Rank and File Troops. They are of the lowest rank, but make up the bulk of the GT members.  

Captain: The Officer in charge of the Soldiers. They command the troops in or off the field. They also report to the Deputy Commander or Commander.

Deputy Commander: The Commander's ''go-to'' soldiers. They are the strategists, the scholars, and military geniuses and power wielders of the Gilded Tree Guild. They follow the Commander's lead, and also carry out their own agendas to better Gilded Tree (as long as they don't interfere with the Commanders). They are not well seen in the lines of combat, and also act as a ''stand in'' to the Commander if the Commander is not present.

Commander: Current Commander: Agusta Jeanette Luisa Salazar III. There is only one Commander, and they act as the Guild Leader to entire Gilded Tree. They decide the movements and of the actions Gilded Tree takes, and what they say will be law amongst it's members.

The members of Gilded Tree use a multitude of weapons, and are not limited to just magic alone. They have trained in various forms of combat to help cope with the possibility of foreign invasion and have their members keep up to date with the outside forces. Candidates will receive what ever weapons suit them upon entry into Gilded Tree's ranks.

-Beatrice's Gilded Tree Deputy Commander Uniform: A modern black uniform with black red and gold elements to it like all regular Gilded Tree Members. It comes with a pair of white gloves, a pair of tight fitting pants, and tight fitting leather thigh-high boots; a long white Gilded Tree Officer's Trenchcoat with red lining.  

Without Jacket:

-Lingerie: A tight lacy bra and panty set; the bra is a size smaller than Beatrice's bust so it causes her breasts to spill out at the corners and causes the fabric to struggle to keep her breasts from bursting out; she also wears a lace skirted garter belt set that are attached to thigh high stockings, and she also wears a lace and mesh T-string thong with the set.

A Deputy Commander of Gilded Tree, serving under Agusta Salazar. Born in Fenira, she had known Fenira's harsh and strange customs since she was born, and would get 'corrected' by her father, a former retainer of one of the Council Members, if she spoke of her "disinterest". These ''corrections'' were often harsh and cruel punishments, but oddly enough they did nothing but further fuel her hatred for the traditions of the Feniran People. She was able to make her way into Gilded Tree since she had a... knack for getting people to tell the truth. She overall has a lack of magical skills, but her ways of getting those interrogated by Gilded Tree to speak their stories are quite remarkable. She also has a decent knack of Military discipline, and likes to command her troops with a well maintained and iron fist.

Body: A toned, slightly muscular and athletic build, with visible curves and large breasts. She also has outward pointed long ears, indicating her of Minktail Origin.


-Captain Lucia's Unique GT Armour: A somewhat Elven inspired outfit that consists of a standard Gilded Tree, Non-Shock Trooper, "Black Armor'' military uniform. It also consists of a magic resistant curaiss which also casts a barrier against magic attacks while halving the overall damage she receives in the battlefield; this armor is black with gilded and polished to a metallic shine. She also wears gauntlets and white leather gloves underneath. Greaves and paulderons similarly styled like the curaiss and gauntlets (with the black, red and gold style going on). Underneath the curaiss is a skin-tight cotton spandex long-sleeved thong bodysuit; the cotton is of a heavy material however, and partially woven with Ootori silk to make it resistant to arrow strikes and shallow blades. With this, over top the bodysuit and still under the armour is a red and gold silk tabard; tight fitting white silk and cloth thigh-high stockings with gilded edging; a thick leather swordbelt with red and gold pouches, a red and gold scabbard and a red belt tightly adjusted on her left thigh. She also wears for headgear, black and gold hair accessories which have long dark red blade-like feathers protruding off; and to top it all off, she wears a long flowing red mantle, a red cape.

Employment: A High Captain of the Gilded Tree of the Feniran Elite Mages
Trained In: Swordsmanship, archery, firearms, artillery, magic, sailing, Handle Animal, riding wild animals, Animal Companion, and Strong Bond (with Animal Companion).

Charged Arrow: Conjures wind into her arrow to project the arrow further and at a faster velocity when fired from her bow.
Swift Ethereal Blade: Using her personal sword she will be able to blindly strike first in battle, allowing the blade to even pass through armour that would normally need a check for resistance, but where the strike lands is a mystery, and the attack itself is never fatal against player characters.

Personal Skills:

Woodland Stride: She may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. Thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion, however, still affect her.
Animal Scrying: can spy on her animal subject's mind as well as be able to sense through them what they feel, see, or smell.
Scent:She can detect approaching enemies, sniff out hidden foes, and track by sense of smell. This also means she can identify familiar odors just as humans do familiar sights. She can detect opponents within 30 feet by sense of smell. If the opponent is upwind, the range increases to 60 feet; if downwind, it drops to 15 feet. Strong scents, such as smoke or rotting garbage, can be detected at twice the ranges noted above. Overpowering scents, such as skunk musk or troglodyte stench, can be detected at triple normal range. However, when she detects a scent, the exact location of the source is not revealed—only its presence somewhere within range. When she is within 5 feet of the source, she pinpoints the source’s location immediately.
Endure Elements: Exist comfortably in hot or cold regions.
Colour Spray: Knocks unconscious, blinds, and/or stuns weak creatures. (non-players/player controlled NPCs)
Silent Image: Creates minor illusion of your design. Dissipates when touched and can only create one at a time.
Ventriloquism: Throws voice for 10 posts. Can only copy voices in her own tone or a little higher or lower; meaning she can only mimic young women, older teenage women, or sound like a young boy. She can also do this without moving her lips at all.
Acid Arrow: Ranged attack; embues an arrow with a powerful magic acid which phases through defenses and inflicts a burning damage to the target's flesh while leaving no marks on the armour/scales.
Fog Cloud: Fog obscures vision.
Glitterdust: Blinds creatures, outlines invisible creatures.
Gust of Wind: Blows away or knocks down smaller creatures.
Whispering Wind: Sends a short message 1 topic away.
Storm Mail: User cloaks themselves in an armour of inward blowing wind-creating a barrier of sorts that protects them from projectiles and physical attacks for five posts before dissipating. It also increases the user's attack strength as well as cause people who get too close to be sucked towards the user, unless their weight is triple that of the caster's.
Aerokinesis: Controls the wind to do her bidding as if like telekinesis in excess to 127 pounds of pressure and control.
Wind Walk: Alter's the substance of your body to a cloudlike vapor (as the gaseous form spell) and move through the air, possibly at great speed. One can take other creatures with them, each of which acts independently.
Wind Wall: An invisible vertical curtain of wind appears. It is 2 feet thick and of considerable strength. It is a roaring blast sufficient to blow away any bird smaller than an eagle, or tear papers and similar materials from unsuspecting hands. (A Reflex save allows a creature to maintain its grasp on an object.) Tiny and Small flying creatures cannot pass through the barrier. Loose materials and cloth garments fly upward when caught in a wind wall. Arrows and bolts are deflected upward and miss, while any other normal ranged weapon passing through the wall has a 30% miss chance. (A giant-thrown boulder, a siege engine projectile, and other massive ranged weapons are not affected.) Gases, most gaseous breath weapons, and creatures in gaseous form cannot pass through the wall (although it is no barrier to incorporeal creatures).
While the wall must be vertical, you can shape it in any continuous path along the ground that you like. It is possible to create cylindrical or square wind walls to enclose specific points.
Wind's Favour: This spell creates a strong breeze (30 mph) in the desired direction. The area is large enough to be commonly targeted immediately behind the sails of a ship, allowing you to always have a favorable wind for sailing. Redirecting the wind by more than 5 degrees requires a full round action per 45 degrees of change. This spell does not prevent other winds from affecting a ship; only the wind within the area of effect.
Pyrotechnics: Turns fire into blinding light or thick smoke.
Analyze Dweomer: Reveals magical aspects of subject.

-Gilded Tree Lower Level Learned Skills: Skills you learn when a member of Gilded Tree from the start:

Teleportation Circle: Teleports creatures inside circle.
Stone to Flesh: Restores petrified creature.
Scrying: Spies on subject from a distance.
Water Breathing: Subjects can breathe underwater.
Halt Undead: Immobilizes undead for 1 round/level.
Tongues: Speak and understand any language.
Dispel Magic: Cancels one magical spell or effect.
Darkvision: See 60 ft. in total darkness.
Cause Fear: Causes weak NPC's to flee. In the ADN's case, anyone below the paygrade of a Sargent will run in complete fear of user's presence.
Magic Missile: A missile of magical energy darts forth from your fingertip and strikes its target, dealing non-elemental damage. The missile strikes unerringly, even if the target is in melee combat, so long as it has less than total cover or total concealment. Specific parts of a target can't be singled out. Objects are not damaged by the spell.

-Gilded Tree Officer Level Learned Skills: Skills one learns once they become an Officer within Gilded Tree.

Secret Chest: Hides expensive chest on Ethereal Plane; you retrieve it at will.
Detect Scrying: Alerts you to magical eavesdropping
Prying Eyes: floating eyes scout for you.
Mage's Disjunction: Dispels magic, disenchants magic items.
Mage's Faithful Hound: Phantom dog can guard a location and attack intruders.
Dimensional Anchor: Bars extradimensional movement.
Arcane Sight: Magical auras become visible to you.
Arcane Eye: Invisible floating eye moves 30 ft./round.
Slow: One subject takes only one action for one post
Spell Turning: Reflect spell levels back at caster.
Knock: Opens locked or magically sealed door.
Summon Monster III: Summons extraplanar creature to fight for you.
Erase: Mundane or magical writing vanishes.
Blindness/Deafness: Makes subject blinded or deafened for 5 posts.
Mage Armor: An invisible but tangible field of force surrounds the subject of a mage. It protects the user against magical and physical attacks by half.  
Arcane Lock: Magically locks a portal or chest.
Detect Secret Doors: Reveals hidden doors within 60 ft

A former noble huntress of the wilds of Minktail. When she decided to leave her people and not become a member of the Council, she was given a special amulet by her Elder and freely allowed to leave. Over time she travelled to Fenira where she remained as a member of Feniran society. Due to the strange culture and traditions that the Fenirans had, as well as being an "outsider to their ways", she was cast pretty low in the social ladder unlike her previous noble birth rite. She remained a common peasant till she heard about Gilded Tree. Walking up to the Gilded Tree Head Quarters as a soil covered potato-farming mess, she was mocked and laughed at by some of the Members and the recruits who were going to try out. Though, she quickly changed their view on her when she swiftly knocked the soldier giving them drills on his ass and took out five more of the Gilded Tree soldiers. She was soon overwhelmed and brought to the prison to remain there for three months, when she was eventually told that she had been given membership into the Guild.

She is now a High Captain in the Guild, and works primarily under Agusta Salazar herself.

Weapons: Red Tempest: A special Elven short-handed blade that is between the sizes of a full-sized dagger and a short sword. It has a red leather wrapped grip, a gilded pommel and wrapped gold hand guard, and a blade of shimmering Mythril steel with a fine pointed double bladed edge.

Possessions & Equipment: Ether x20, Mega Potion x20, Elixir x5, High Quality field rations, hidden knives, an Ebonwood Elven Longbow, x30 Glass arrows, x10 Sunhallow Elven Arrows, 40x Steel Arrows, 1 satchel of De-casting powder: when thrown at an oncoming magic attack, the attack is dissipated and dematerializes.

Personal Items:

-Branch of life: a small tooth-pick branch suspended in a heavy glass locket that is hung from around her neck by a golden chain. The suspended branch is surrounded 360 degrees by the heavy and shatter-resistant polished glass, and if dipped in acid, it would survive while the golden chain will corrode or melt away. It was given to her by her elder before she had left Minktail Forest.
