Cretu Docks Empty Cretu Docks

The gulls cried out in the sky, basking in the early afternoon light while the people below them disembark from ships and other sea carrying vessels. One such of these individuals was glistening in brilliant polished Scardian Steel armour, and wore blue and white patterned clothes. At her hip was the blade of a long mighty two-handed double edged sword, the gold emboss was as shiny as her long blond hair. Her eyes, like the blue sky as it was today: a clear and wondrous blue that could be easily compared to the blue of her dress like garment that she wore as well as the ribbon in her hair.

She brought one gauntlet covered hand to her forehead, cupping her fingers as she looked up into the sky. "It looks like it will be another beautiful day here in Scardia." she says to herself, smiling with her lips. She returns her attention ahead of her and begins to walk through the cobblestone streets. She may as well head for the palace and have a word with the King, being the Princess of Scardia and all, she surmised she wouldn't need an appointment to meet with her dad. She got to the end of the street and paused, feeling a tad unease as her mind came forth with the vision of a vast icy plain filled with undead horrible creatures who were then immediately shattered by an awesome and tremendous force. Was it... him? The Azure Prince? The King of the Frost? The Bane of the Glacyian Race and the personification of Scardia and the Glacyian City itself? No... No, it couldn't be. The War Deity Stratus has been dead for these past 18 years; she was barely five when she even seen the Aetherial creature and had gone through that horrid accident when she was ten...and that same year Stratus had been killed in a battle by some unknown assailant.

It was the same as before... growing up she's experienced similar visions, sometimes of a vast city of ice and steel that floated high above the skies of Scardia where the 'wings of man' could not reach; a place where only those strong enough could live. It was the Glacyian City of course...but that too was also impossible: there is no surviving record of the city's existence nor an image of it. It was a myth that was treated in the same regard as a Giant Beijionese Bull Frog. It could have existed, but nothing remains of it's existence nowadays. Then these visions... she had them often, and since her incident, but only told a handful of people. Her father thought it may have been a mental disorder brought on by her experiences as a child. That could be true, but she felt sane. It...it was just as if she was being spoken to by someone whom she could not reply back to, a thought not of her own device and lacking a body to provide it. She sometimes felt it in the amulet of Scardia, resonating with it's icy cool touch, but she had never seen the War God Stratus face to face besides that one moment when she was five... but then again that was nearly two decades ago. She has grown up since then, in many ways than one, one could say. But she was determined... determined that she was being chosen for something... she felt her purpose... her purpose to serve the Mighty Deity of Scardia, Stratus.

Cretu Docks Empty Re: Cretu Docks

There were a couple shady individuals who were waiting for a 'specific' ship to appear. They had orders from their bosses to seek out this shipment for Master Lord Arcanda himself, they might even get a shot at joining the 'firm' themselves. "The boss will be pissed at our failure again if we leave empty handed again fellas." came the raspy voice of the man in the hat; only one of the four tall men who were waiting for the shipment. Another was taking a drag off a cigarette and blew out a stream of smoke before pulling it away from his mouth and closing his eyes.

"Peh, don't get reminding me. I hear it enough from the old guy as it is. It ain't our fault Junior got squashed by that Ambulance." The third raised his pink collared shirt and looked down at his feet. "It was all too spooky. First the bosses kid gets shot, and then gets hit by 7.5 tons of irony barreling down the road returning to the dispatch." The man physically shivered.

"It's his fault for not looking both ways before crossing; shot in the gut regardless, he could've taken it like a man." came the voice of the third man wearing a green jacket, who was also smoking, but when he spoke those words the black haired and blue suede jacket clad member of their lot smashed his fist up to his elbow into Green Jacket's chest.

"Whatchyou say?! Go to sleep you miserable sonva-bitch!" he cried, pulling his arm out into a double hand clasp and brought it behind Green Jacket's neck, causing the bulging eyed man to fall to the pavement where he was met with Blue Suede's sharp repetitive kicks directed into his stomach. "He was my friend you miserable prick!" he cried, kicking him repeatedly till the man in the hat pulled him away.

"That's enough Tommy, you'll start gathering a crowd at this rate; even if the rat faced bastard deserves what he's being dished." he says patting his shoulder. Blue Suede...or ''Tommy'' was puffing out his chest, making himself look big and was sweating from the aggravation.

It's then when one of the ships unload, and with the light shining off of them.

'Hat' and the others turn to the source, noticing the lovely blond haired woman disembarking from the ship.

"Hey... Charlie, whose that?" The man in the pink shirt asked 'Hat' directly.

"I don't know her too well Moe, I've only been doing some minor research into the politics around here since we've arrived... but I can tell you she looks quite promising." ''Charlie'' replied back to Pink Collar... or ''Moe'' to be more accurate. "Someone get Larry off his ass, I think I have an idea how to get us some more cash, perhaps even a promotion." he says with a blank stare at the young woman who was about thirty feet from them.

"Heh, I guess you could be right. With a body like that, we can defin-" Moe started when Charlie back handed him across the face.

"No! Not like that you dumbass. For Freyd's Sake, I'm a Gods loving servant, not some greasy animal!" Charlie starts, angry at first, snarling at Moe who recoiled holding his swelling face while Tommy lets go of Larry to hold his chest in laughter while Larry's head smacks against the cobblestone pavement. "Shut up," Charlie commands, turning around the corner and looked towards the blond woman. "No. Do you seriously not know who she is? She's that loony Princess that Scardia has to put up with since her ''daddy'' adopted her. Pft, I hear she talks to people, but not just any people, but the War God Stratus himself!" Charlie finished as he kept spying on her.

"N-no way? A hot piece of ass like her a loony-bird? Damn, looks can be deceiving." came Moe's voice echoing from his swollen face. He then grew alarmed, clenching his fists at his side. "Wh-what?! Wait, what are we supposed to do with a Princess?! We can't just take her to the bottling company, the boss'll kill us-"

"-and that is why we won't bring'er to the Boss Moe." Charlie interrupted. He turns to the two with fierce fiery eyes. "Are you two tired of taking orders from that bloated lipped bastard? Well I am. No, I'm not taking her to the Boss...I'm going to take her to Arcanda himself."

This aroused a shocked look upon the other men's faces; they looked like they were about to say the same thing, which was the "how do you know where the Big Boss lives?", look. To this, Charlie pulls out a slip of paper. "I swiped this from the Boss's desk this morning. It's an invitation to 'join' the ceremony being held at the Lonely Wolf in Beijio. All we need to do is take her there and speak to owner there and demand an audience with Arcanda who was stated to arrive later tonight. The journey from Scardia to Beijio is'nt a long one fellas, and if we pull this off, we might just get promoted: higher than our bottle neck prick of a boss. So what do ya say boys? You tired of counting bottles and taking errands for Mikhail? Or do you want to keep shoveling the shit jobs he throws at us?" Charlie asked, the men. The two paused, thought for a moment, but were so inspired by Charlie's speech they smirked and pumped their fists. "Yeah! I'm with you Bossman!" Tommy exclaimed, and Moe laughed before asking about Larry.

"Leave him. He'll take the fall for not 'being awake' when the boat arrives with the Boss's shipment. Besides, I never quite liked this bastard anyway." he says placing a foot on Larry's head, rolling it under his heel slightly before kicking it hard.

"Yeah, me either!" came Moe who equally kicked the man, but hard against the man's lower abdomen. After a group evil snicker the three men begin to walk over towards the Princess. They split up, moving in the crowd to surround her. She was just so open that they couldn't resist not to step in.

"Hey there pretty lady!" Came Moe's strained speech, his face swelling like a football from Charlies back hand as he came up from behind her.

"Wow, she really is pretty up this close!" Came Tommy's voice, his hands in his pockets as he approached her from her left.

"Now fella's, don't be rude. We're speaking with Royalty now; Royalty that is lacking a guard to protect her." Came Charlie's voice, his hat shadowing over his eyes as he grinned with his lips. "And she's gonna be a good little Princess, unless she'd like to be cut to little pieces." Charlie finished, pulling one of his hands out of his pockets as well; the hand formed into a fist, but with a twitch of his hand a blade slipped out from it.

Cretu Docks Empty Re: Cretu Docks

Post  Locke Bright-Spear Tue Jul 17, 2018 11:24 pm

Locke walks the planks up to his ship, “Wind Chaser”, named after the horse of legend ridden by none other than his ancestor, Ysolda the Lioness. He didn't think much of such history as he walked across the deck of his fishing vessel, pulling the ropes that anchored the modest vessel away from the docks. "Welp, the time is now. I hope this 'end of the world' nonsense hasn't scared the fish around Illurich Island to the north east." he says aloud but his words didn't fool him none. He was curious about the lush jungle island and wanted to perhaps explore its shore while doing his honest business. As much as he preferred his peaceful little existence thus far, the occasional distraction and taste for adventure crept onto the tip of his tongue. He got behind the wheel of his boat inside the cabin, activating the propellers and took the Wind Chaser out to the deep blue horizon.
