Outside Patio

The lady in black sat under a shaded parasol with a nice view of the coastline from her seat. A cup of tea in one hand, the other resting upon her leg, she sipped the dark brew before peeling the fine china from her lips and smirked. Her golden gaze fixated on the ocean's horizon... she remembered how the horizon looked from her throne, a long time ago... but that was a different time, a...different life. Her free hand reached up to catch the large hat on her head, to keep it from flying off as the wind picked up. A malevolent wind from the far south... from a dry and dusty place where a dragon black as coal now challenged the world. She chuckled. "How haughty of these beasts, to think they were the only dark being to grace this planet's surface..." Says the black queen of a dead kingdom of elves. She shrugged, and continued to sip her tea in solace. She wasn't expecting company... but it didn't hurt to have any. She still saw the handsome man from her past... the detestable wretch who she sometimes wished she never met. Still, the sex was unbelievably fun, and he was the one who survived her most potent of cocktails... and even saved her from dying from it when it backfired. She shrugged, closing her eyes and resumed drinking her tea.
