Old Orcs are what is implied by their name, the original name for the species which resemble Pig or Boar men; Orc is taken from the word from one meaning, roughly, "boar monster".

On Galiavan, they have various names, ranging from Orcs, Boarish, Pig Men, Boar Men, Manboar, Minoboar, Chauvi, Wild Men, or scientifically sushominus.

I shall delve briefly into their descriptions, their culture, society and their ecology. After that, I'll go into special abilities.

Descriptive Details

Pigmen are ALL MALE and are a non demonic, non human species.

Pigmen babies are about 3 to 4 feet at height, boys stand roughly at 6 feet, and men can range from 9 foot to about 30 feet at maximum (though legends do tell of Porcus Maximus the Great who was at least 69 foot 6 inches tall in olden times); height is mostly determined by their habitat, calorie/dietary intake and society.

Pigmen look like, well, pigs but man-like in nature. They can be covered in various thicknesses of fat and fur, can have fewer digits than humans or the same on both their hands and feet, can have tusks or none. Most are typically ugly to look at, but don't go insult one- that's just rude.

Culture, Society and Ecology

Pigmen are typically tribal like in nature, with most Chauvi being nomadic like the Confederation of Raiding Tribes in Domescadia where many will lead smaller tribes all in allegiance to the stationary tribes. Though allied, Pigman culture is barbaric and brutal. They favor bloodsports and fighting, many of which are mercenaries by trade that'll work for the opportunity to simply fight and show off their brawn!

Boasting is big among them, for one who can back his boast is given respect. The boarish peoples also enjoy gladiatorial bouts and martial combat over trinkets, treasures or spoils. They enjoy weapons and warfare, of combat prowess and shows of cunning and strength. That reason, the beasts scorn other races they deem as 'outsiders' and may not even listen to a mortal's plight unless they prove themselves in martial combat. However, in such cases, they are generally 'fair'... fair being a loose term here. See, a challenge is typically in single combat where the opponent can choose their weapon or lack thereof. The Pigman opposite will pick something similar or decline their challenge unless THEY can match to it, otherwise they'll boot the challenger out. On the outside in, that does sound fair. However... the opposing challenger representing the pigmen can be of any height, weight etc.

They enjoy bathing themselves in glory, as well as literally simply bathing be it in steamy natural baths or mud. They are an omnivorous race that'll eat about anything. And I mean anything. It is said, anything that can fit inside a pigman's mouth is fair game, including other sentient races smaller than them! This ability to easily inhale creatures smaller than their mouth combined with their general lack of table manners also don't do them much justice. They consider using tools to eat a waste of time and material, and that if one does not want to get 'slopped' by their saliva as they eat, eat at a different table! Boarmen are not the greatest of craftsmen, though are capable of weaving, hemming, sewing, mining and processing metals and ores as well as blacksmithing. They also brew, typically mead or a type of wine that most Elvish would turn in disgust upon seeing. One of their favorite methods of torture to Elvish races is simply forcing them to drink their homebrew wine.

Pigmen are also typically perverted, hedonistic savages ranging from tame to creepily depraved; hence why people call such perverts 'pigs' or 'boars'. I would call it a byproduct from their need to reproduce with women from other races before they get too big in size to do it effectively, (which never turns out well anyway for the unlucky women involved) but there's really no other excuse, I also didn't think it needed to be said but I said it anyway, moving on!

Interestingly, at one point in history on the edge of the Domescadian and Minktail Border, the Chauvi had a massive city of carved white marble and granite which they called 'Apervilla'. The city is reminiscent of Ancient Rome on Earth, but ran by the pigmen. They had a dictator, a senate, colosseums, dining halls, banquet halls (very different in their society), longhouses, bathhouses and markets to trade to the empires of Domescadia to the East and West of them. However, Apervilla was destroyed by its neighbors due to other factors of Pigmen society...

As mentioned, the pigmen are that, men. Unlike the beastkin, who are typically only female due to being 'tamed' by human society, the mostly wild and free boarmen are always male. Because of such, these particular Orcs are in the habit of kidnapping women of any race to procreate with, before they become too huge to properly do so. Their raiding on the Elvish in the North and East and the mortal Sand Dwellers to the West combined with their barbaric diet sealed Apervilla's fate.

No one is quite sure how the first manpig was created, but it is believed they started out as a human. The only surviving and believed record states that a human born pig farmer during the chaotic primordial age and his pregnant wife settled in the region of the Elvish. These humans were enslaved by the elves, and forced to toil on the pig farm for them near the Elvish Godtree. However, a Greater Being severed the based of the Godtree, and its bloody sap washed over the farm. The wife of the farmer was seemingly spared, but her husband had fused with one of the pigs he clung to to survive drowning. It is said, that the wife fled her husband out of fear of his appearance, and he followed after her, trying to set the record straight. He found her in time, his wife's stomach had nearly quadrupled the size a child should be, and she was barely alive. It is said, from his wife's womb bursts free the first of the Old Orcs.

As one can see, typically pigmen are morally 'grey' or flat out evil in nature simply to survive and thrive as well as to fuel their cravings for brutality, depravity and egotism.

Their impact these days aren't so much felt as rare as they've become due to 'Hazorian Hitsquads', Elves and the typical adventurer mistaking them for demons. However, they make for great laborers and miners and as mentioned mercenaries. Abdel Adham used them to great effect along with his Minotaurs who are of a similar bane to the other human like races for their brutish appearance and natures. However, pigmen are... far smarter considering and weren't fooled out of the Arenas of the Onyx City. Their powerful senses of smell which even outperforms demons and beastkin as they can even smell traces 'lost' by water also make them skilled trackers. Abdel would send a Pigman and a Minotaur to chase after runaway slaves or enemies when he deemed his Apophi valuable elsewhere.
Their omnivorous nature can make a wandering tribe a nuisance to isolated villages on Galiavan, as they will probably drain the resources surrounding them before making a move on the village afterwards. They don't give much back, other than their feces, when processed makes a very terrifying and effective fertilizer that can grow crops far quicker than they should be; even those out of season! Their noses can be seen as a useful resource in finding not just people, but ore and rare mushrooms like black truffles and witch's brew.

Special Abilities

As mentioned, pigmen are skilled laborers, miners, trackers and mercenaries.

Natural Weapons like their size and weight, claws or tusks (if they have them) allow them an edge over most races.

Swallowing Whole anything that can fit inside their mouths enables them a rather barbaric method to deal with pesky humanoid races challenging them, as well as a way to survive and satiate their high caloric intake needs and stave off hunger.

Godly Scent Detection allows them to track down just about anything, making it very hard to hide from a pigman while also allowing the pigman to find other resources they could make use of. They are even capable of tasting the scent of prey; however a drawback is one could mask their scent with another or possibly damage scent tracking faculties by close range assault via a potent and overpowering scent in turn!

Ganonize is an ability granted to the most powerful and magically endowed Pigmen, who can transform themselves into the form of a giant boar or pig! Some pigmen are also born from very wisened or magically endowed pigs or boars who then transform into a pig man from overexposure to witch's magic, though such cases are very rare indeed!

Wereboar is also an ability given to some equally powerful, but not so much blessed as those who can Ganonize themselves!

Traits

Elf Hate is a big trait among them. Elves are the cause of many of their problems, and are the biggest offenders of anti-boarman crimes in their longed lived rivalry. They can be seen as the opposite spectrum of the Elf, who is beautiful eternally whereas the Old Orcs are seen as eternally horrendous. They aren't above respecting and accepting an Elf however, into their tribe should they pass their challenge like any other mortal who dares ask. Such elves are not seen as 'elves' by them by that point.

Superiority Complex is another way to put it. Though they hate Elves, they see almost every other race as beneath them equally. Easily stroking their own egos, Pigmen will often boast of their superior strength, cunning and libedo (all of which is up for debate...) and bragging is actually a pillar of their culture. Who ever can typically 'back up their own bullshit' without question is often given higher respect and authority. Because of this complex, seeing a pigman's tribal chief is very difficult as they don't see other races, let alone people in general 'worth their time'.

Martial Prowess Admiration is another big pillar of their culture. They enjoy the feats of Valundar Blade-breaker, Shogun later Emperor Daichi Beijiosaki, Lady Hiyori Busujima, Shogun Barduwulf Garamond, Captain Richard Lionheart among others, as their feats are well established and proven via historical accounts, whereas Scar'd is hit and miss among them as he's too far back in history to truly establish if he was real to their society (even though their society is far older than Scar'd's humble origins). In general, they appreciate a great fight! When one's life is hanging in the balance against insurmountable odds stacked against either fighter, the struggle for life is a sweet blessing and spice to their soul! So in order to become allies with them, one typically has to accept their martial challenge. However, do not mistake this as them appreciating raw brawn; they also appreciate cunning, artistic use of the terrain and the enemy situation, or even a decent insult match.

Pigmen are also quite salacious, as much so as Minotaurs, if not worse. Beautiful and drop dead gorgeous women are fawned over by them which isn't much of a surprise given how their society works. This often gets them into trouble, but as the Boarish are 'always up for a challenge' they are not so easily deterred... making them an enemy of many races and organizations like the Hazorian Executioners (they call them 'Hazoria's Hit Squads' or 'tightwads') especially under the thumb of Virgil Formidable who detests their lot as much as his Goddess does!

His skin is a pinkish tan color, and his eyes are beady and blood red in color.

Clothes:
Taur Slayer: At first, Dreebus can be mistaken for a Minotaur with a long black mane, but this is false advertising. In fact, the pale mask he wears over his face adorned with horns which have since been dipped in silver was a Minotaur rival of his back when he was a child. He purportedly skinned the minotaur alive when he came of age, fashioning a cruel, disturbing mask from his face to wear over his and intimidate his enemies! This is worn with a Scrap Steel gorget and light pauldrons that are decorated with Chauvi runes and flared into sharpened spikes on the edges. This is accompanied by similar crafted gauntlets and greaves (which expose the toes) and are fastened by several hide straps. He wears a stretchable belt made of brown jellmock vine and decorated with scrap steel chains and a dulled Megas Selachii tooth dipped in silver as the 'belt ornamental piece' which is holding up a simple hide kilt and loincloth which is his only protection for his free swingin' sausage. Had to make that pork joke, sue me.
