Distinguishing Features:
Originally designed by Tenik Incorporated and DarkSEED Technologies, prototypes of the Valkyrie Mk. III were produced and issued in very small numbers in and around 2639. Back then, there were no extra armaments save what pilots were equipped with, there was a limited flight time and it wasn't too maneuverable and was credited for being very slow to turn. It was relegated to a 'special scenario' usage, mostly for short term reconnaissance or by DarkSEED engineers when they needed to work on something high up without a ladder. Still, most were shot out of the sky by Anti-Tenik groups or militias during the intense 'Rebel Period'.

The project was eventually shelved, till it was brought back, redesigned, and modified in the 2640s by Chesluk Industries and Quicksilver Firearms on behalf of the ADN R&D department.

Old blended with new, as the machine they created called the Valkyrie Mk. IV was developed and produced by 2650. The new machine utilizes advanced processors and an on board Advanced Artificial Intelligence programmed into the Aerial Combat Unit (ACU) Pack. The pilots themselves make up the rest of the Valkyrie's success. Preferred pilots are on the short side, slender and able to handle cold temperatures. Due to the weight of the pack exceeding normal strength values, most pilots who are chosen of non-Scardian birth are supplied with a Resource Integration Gear (RIG) which is an exoskeleton device that rests on the shoulders and down the length of the spine. These 'RIG's have various other useful uses, such as health and psyche monitoring, combat boost administration and helps support the nearly 450 lbs device as well as any other additional equipment supplied. The RIG also connects to the onboard AI, allowing the user to control the pack via subtle back movements and thought processing when paired with the said RIG. However, in a rare 'failure to connect' the pilot is also given a Personal Information Processor (PIP) which is a small, arm mounted computer that can connect remotely or physically to the ACU pack, allowing manual control via the PIP. The PIP can also keep track of the machine's armament and integrated weapon system's capacity, can help with auto-reloading both munition and surgical injection of combat stims, as well as link with the user's RIG to help the pilot monitor their own health and psyche levels. The PIP also has other, basic functions, with a radio, text, computer usage as well as the ability to link up with other ADN manned/unmanned weapons/vehicle systems as well as emergency door panels and the like.

Its primary function is for individual reconnaissance and specialized use. For example it can be used to fly somewhere discreetly, as it hardly makes as much noise as a helicopter or plane, and can be used to infiltrate, spy, or even search in lower altitudes than a helicopter can achieve. It's theoretically capable of aiding in rescue missions, but is limited by the user in what can be done.

Combat wise, its armament is more advanced than its predecessors, but is limited when compared to conventional weaponry. Standard, the Valkyrie is equipped with two, integrated 10mm machine gun arms which unfold from the pack, with helical magazines loaded with 60 rounds each that eject when empty or fail to chamber, and the ACU only carries 6 full magazines (with two pre-loaded into the smgs). Beyond the two built in SMGs, is a shoulder mounted targeting computer and Single Fire Pod Rocket launcher that only fires a single, mini rocket at a time. The ACU only carries 7 mini rockets at a time, typically of the mission loadout's preferences, but is standard: 1 chaff/signal jamming rocket that disrupts camera, radar, infrared and many forms of radio equipment and can even hinder the process of the Valkyrie itself! 2 Fragmentation Mini-Rockets that are loaded with ball bearings that scatter upon its explosive impact. 3 Smoke or Flashbang rockets that are heavy and generally fall short range upon shooting and after a set time either spew out a cloud of colored or dark smoke or even tear gas, obscuring vision; or explode with a concussive blast that is overwhelmingly loud as well as being packed with a starshell that can temporarily blind while the noise deafens those caught in its blast radius. Finally, a single, laser-guided High Explosive Mini-Rocket that is packed tightly with high explosive compound, meant for taking out doors, materiel/equipment, and vehicles. Munition can be loaded and switched out via the PIP as well.

Any other equipment is user based, be it pistols, rifles, smgs, rocket launchers, what have you- so long as it doesn't weigh the pilot and the machine down during flight.

(OOC: may add more fluff later x))
