Island Shoreline

The ship took a while to get there, but as soon as the ship got within range of Rynoshi Island, he steps out of the shade of his cabin to look out to the 'Great City of Beijio'. He pushes back his dark brown hood, and gazes across the Scardia Ocean. From out this far, the city was more or less a low level strip that raised into the mountains with lights brightening it's coast. He could see what had once been his home, the Beijio Palace, and he breathed deeply. There were large plumes of smoke rising from the city; dark black and oily looking, this acrid fog hung over the city like a plague and seemed to stretch out with roots of darkening coils. Fires, many of them. Still, as he watches the smoldering city in the distance he still feels as though he was not ready to still venture out there. He slips back into his cabin, and takes a seat. He wonders what good he would bring if he decided to enter the recovering city.
