Izula Beach

Mina stands amid the white sands of the beach. It is just after dusk, and the sky is illuminated by stars and a crescent moon that reflects off the navy blue ocean. Mina stands ankle deep amid the crashing waves...sensing something not right about this otherwise pleasant night...

The graboid was particularly good at registering sounds from above the ground. It was, after all, how it fed. Despite the sounds of the waves continually crashing down, it could tell that there was a person standing in the water. Alone. Hopefully an easy prey it made sure to circle its prey in the ground beneath the waters, so as the girl would not notice any bulge in the sand, but it didn't anticipate aberrations in the water...

Mina continued to feel the sea breeze rush past her scantly clad body, the night was perfect and still. Despite being nothing more than an unsent spirit she should have no problem with the unsettling feeling she had welling inside her....

She wiggled her toes in the sand below her, and closed her eyes, listening to the sound of the waves crashing upon the shoreline.
