Taishoku Ruins
The ruins of the Taishoku family estate. A large wooden complex which fits the mental image of a hidden Ninja mansion. Much of it has burned away, and the remaining portions are damaged and crumbling. A number of statues fill the courtyards, in varying states of disrepair. This location was supposed to be secret, but since it's destruction and the near extinction of the Taishoku family, it's become more visited. Some who want to search for any remaining relics or clan documents, and some who simply want to sight see.

Himemaru continued on her path through the bamboo and reed forest, passing an old estate that had not been so lucky in the Beijio Civil War. She often played in the area, which is odd for a young girl, to play in the dangerous ruins of a burned away manor, but she was an odd child. The 24 year old glanced over the crumbling remains of the ninja mansion, which ironically pressed her decision in becoming one herself. The Shinobu way was one of deceit and stealth. She thought she did fairly well for herself in that regard, and was ready to test her abilities anytime, hence her option to join Shokuji University. Her maryjanes crunched under rubble and debris as she walked through the Taishoku Estate Ruins, unsure what befell its owners. They were long gone before she was able to walk, as far as she could remember. In anycase, she crossed through their yard and onto another path, which lead to the nearby village and harbor where her ship awaited her.
