Maria Embermoon's Chambers

The quarters of Maria Embermoon, a young woman who lived a druidic life originally in the woodlands south of the city, south of Gilded Tree. She had lived alone, well free of people anyway, having a pair of pet owls and a dove that kept her company... and as stated she was an eccentric witch. She was a somewhat shy individual, as noted by her fellow Gilded Tree members. Lieutenant Embermoon, sometimes called Embershade for some odd reason or another, possibly due to an instructor having mistook her family name as such and the woman was too shy to correct him- she was that kind of woman. Well, when her eyes were blue anyhow. You see, Maria in all of her ability and power isn't much of a mage worth remembering... but when focused and fueled with magic, her eyes became red and her personality became more than fitting of a member of the esoteric order of Magic Knights of Fenira.

Her eyes have remained crimson for a long while now... at least a full year.

There was a soft knocking on her door, the slumbering Void Witch remained in her hammock, lying naked beside her grimoire, with her whip still attached to the black leather band wrapped around her left thigh:



As stated again, she was a rather eccentric witch. She slept in the natural state to help keep her mana focused, which lead to many embarrassing encounters up to becoming an officer and obtaining her own, personal chambers. She continued to slumber, her supple form balling up with her knees to her chest, shivering while the knock repeated.

"Lieutenant Maria Embershade-"

"-Embermoon..." Maria quickly corrected, eyes still closed, her voice tired and groggy.

""Er, right...yes Lt. Embermoon... the Commander requests your appearance post haste, ma'm." The soldier beyond the door stammered. To the mention of Agusta, Maria's red eyes blinked open. Dark rings under her eyes which appeared since her constant focused state, the mole under her left eye also having manifested through this constant state of magical focus. She let her legs dangle off the edge of the hammock, and she dropped down... her uniform appearing from magical particles that formed around her naked body, save her cape and peaked cap. She was slipping the satin cape around her right shoulder when she answered: "I see... very well then. I'll be just a minute."

She grabbed her grimoire, attaching it to the side of her belt, it shrinking several sizes to be more compact. She also grabbed the double barrel pistol and slid it into the holster above her ass as well:



She took her cap in hand, adjusted the focusing rings on her fingers before she was ready. Upon opening the door to her chambers, with her gold cordage around her left shoulder as her indication of rank, Lieutenant Maria Embermoon was ready for the Commander's audience:



"Lead the way, Corporal." She explained, closing the door behind her with a metallic clinking indicating its now locked state.
