The High Rise

The Cells of the most prized, longest surviving warriors of the Arena. Nicknamed 'The High Rise' it is actually located underneath the field of battle, and is where the popular gladiators of Mrs Jay's funhouse live when they aren't trying to kill one another topside. It has far better facilities, with large, open cells with natural light and comes furnished with amenities. Warriors can walk freely from one cell to the other, similar to a dormitory, but the sandy walls and stonework all still resemble the life of a prisoner. The popular warriors can have a choice whether to participate in the 'action' and will only be forced to fight in the arena above when beckoned by the Game Master or either one of the Slugs Mr or Mrs Jay. A guard is approached at the entrance to the block, where you register to fight in the battles above and is where the warriors weapons are stored till they enter the 'clean room' where they are cut off from the holding area and take their weapons from a slot in the wall to their right. The clean room leads straight into the arena itself...

Of its unique features, warriors who are fortunate enough to live in the 'High Rise' can be visited by fans, friends, family, after a exorbitant fee of course~

Compared to The Hold, this place is a slice of (temporary) heaven for the weary, struggling warrior...

The scarred and beautiful 'Liánhuā', real name: Nefertiti; heard the shrill cry from the gladiatorial pits. She was scratching a line into the wall of her cell, marking another day she was spent toiling under the thumb of Mr and Mrs Jay. Nefertiti was an ex Black Anubis assassin in training, who ditched the world she was reared into but instead got herself into a heap of trouble with the 'Thug Slugs'. She was 17 at the time, too scrawny for food or to be the vile creature's play thing, she was tossed into the fighting pit as a joke, fodder for the other creatures and trapped prisoners. The joke was on them, however, as her Mercenary/Assassin upbringing kept her alive in this hell for the last six years. Her sister's master knew she was here, but the traitorous bitch, Claudia, felt that Nefertiti should be assumed dead, given she was a 'political problem' back in Anubia! That blonde bitch will pay one of these days... Thought the beautiful twenty three year old Assassin turned gladiator.



She had grown much in the last six years, (in some ways better than others as she found her height put to question...) given her life was a daily struggle to continue living or meet a grisly death by some freak, she had outgrown the clothes that had long since rotted away or were used for bandage scraps or some other use.
Neffi wore a black leather S&M outfit 'borrowed' from the limited number of clothing options she had here in this coliseum. It consisted of a 'shibari-like' chest harness made of multiple straps of leather and steel buckles that formed around her shoulders, upper back, around each of her breasts and were mounted at a choker around her neck. The black leather micro-bikini top had metal studs along the corners of the triangle top and straps which in turn was connected to the shibari harness as well; so snug and tight, you could easily see the young woman's pierced nipples embossing the glossy supple leather. With this a matching black leather, strappy high leg G-string with four straps that tautly hugged her upper hips and waist and hung low on her crotch, almost enough to make her shaven lips visible! She was used to wearing such attire since she was a teen, given her family's abilities pertaining to their skin exposure…

She wore black leather thigh straps around each of her thick legs, with steel O-ring fixtures, with a pair of Beijionese stylized bell charms on each upper thigh belt, with red ribbons tied into a floral design with a long cord draping down each leg with metal beads and a pair of rings on each hanging cord. A black strap between a pair of O-rings on the back and face of her thighs lead to another, tighter strap which hugged her lower thigh all around as well.
A pair of Nezumimi/Mouse-kin booties adorned her feet; shin high untanned leather boots with open heels and toes with black studded leather straps around the ankle and arch of her feet. She wore a toe ring on her right foot, a left over from the boot's arch protectors which had long since worn away. For her hands she wears a pair of thumb and two finger cut out gloves/half fingered/marksman gloves that slipped just barely past her palms.Given her immunity to humid temperatures and heat, she had little else on, save for the high cropped puffy sleeved bomber jacket. It was made of a windbreaker like material with a quilted patterned, brown padded lining and matching ribbed wrist cuffs. She wore it semi-loosely around her gently sloped shoulders, black leather belts hung off the sleeves and the wide popped collar. She assumed it was made for an imp or something, as the decoration on the back of the jacket was in Demon text which she couldn't read, but assumed it was either badass as fuck or mundane as hell when translated. In all seriousness, the wording was mostly worn away over the last three years of use. All these clothes were mostly scavenged from the corpses, stuff that fit her and fit her 'style' at least. She literally had nothing else left but the pair of pistols she had with her when she got taken into this deplorable prison.    
The woman physically speaking was quite the 'Lotus', like her namesake, herself. Though she looked tall, she was only 5'7, pretty average height and short compared to her older sister, Cleo, and most Beijionese women. She and her sister typically shared the same physique, tits wise:

While she recalled her sister Cleo being taller, she was also more lithe and slender, almost 'doe-like'. Nefi on the other hand, was average height for a human woman on Galiavan, with the same, jiggling Double Duo voluminous bust as her sister and a toned, narrow abdomen. However, Nef has wider, attractively sloped hips, a more pronounced and well rounded derriere, thicker and more muscular legs with shapely thighs and calves. Nef, unlike her sister, was a redhead; her hair a brilliant deep scarlet red similar to the spider lily plant common in Benzi Makai and Beijio. Her hair styled by choice in a manner similar to her sister, Cleo; a cute bob with long draping bangs which framed her rounded face, with blunt bangs and feathered in the back at an angle. She had longer, fluffy eyelashes compared to Cleo as well, and currently her mascara dribbled down her cheeks somewhat. Her large, green eyes were accentuated by a deep starry blue eyeshadow beneath and at the corner of her slanted, Beijionese eyes she shared with her mother's lover. She had more pronounced canines as well, almost a 'fang' which liked to poke her lower left lip when she was cocky. Her nails and toenails were painted blood red like her deep scarlet hair. She wore multiple steel hoop earrings on each ear as well as her right nostril, her lower right lip, her navel, and both of her nipples and tongue. However, unlike the 'flawless' Cleopatra, Nefertiti had various scars from her harsh six years here.

A trio of scars run down her left eye and forehead, obscured mostly by her blunt bangs. A notably long one on her left shoulder, a pair of scars in the shape of a cross upon her upper left breast from two different fights. A smaller one on her lower right under boob. A deep but smaller gash next to her navel which was when she was stabbed, various smaller scars across her toned and muscular back, another cross shaped scar on her upper left thigh, a long scar that traveled from her lower left thigh in the back, around to the back of said thigh, a long scar down the upper half of her left shin. She had one long scar that encircled much of the back of her right calf, a pair of parallel but asymmetric scars on her  mid/upper right thigh. She also had a trio of parallel lines on her right forearm from Nekomimi claws laced with poison. Nef survived both, her opponent wasn't as fortunate...
The scarred, still fortunate to be alive warrior beauty was laying in her simple yet comfortable bed staring up at the ceiling with her arms folded behind her head. She was staring at the cracks in the ceiling, cracks she had been accustomed to in the six long years since her 'death' as Nefertiti Farah Arunari... since she became 'Liánhuā' the Crimson Haired Lotus: the Unyielding Master of 'Sangara'. Hahhn hahhhn hahhn...! She had made it this far by Hahhhn! not dying, and haaahn...! being pop-hhhhhahaaaahhhn!-ular...

Nefertiti closed her eyes tightly, clenching her teeth and her fists into tight fists behind her head! "HEY! Can you be a little quieter over there, 'Hisster'?! Some of us like to try and get back to our broken, unattainable dreams here!" She barked to the Apophi in the adjacent cell. With her narrow green eyes, the red head could clearly see the said culprit having her way with a 'fan':



"Sheesh, Sis," said Nef as she rolled onto her side, propping her head up with one hand and had her other draped over her toned abdomen as she lay there, watching the Apophi go to town with the boy who paid a hefty sum to meet some of the Gladiatorial fighters.



Given their popularity, they had a dormitory styled cell system with a tad more flexibility and freedom- unlike the dregs who live in the Hold, which was like being packed with sardines with any number of creeps. Granted... given her 'roomie', Cassandra Tsing, across from her was also widening her jaws around the young man's head... well, you never really did get away from the freaks in this place!

The unrepentant aformentioned snake woman did not take to kindly to Nef's accosting her in her own down time. She roughly picked up the boy's shorts up from the floor of her cell, and threw it at Nef violently. Go eat his shorts. I'm busy here! So rarely do we get treats like this, I'm going to enjoy this one fully. Don't like it? Take a walk or deal with it!" hissed the Apophi angrily.

"AND THE NAME IS CASS!" she yelled out, before her eyes darted back down to her prey, and she tightened her coils around his torso. She leaned in close, her yellow eyes gleaming. "Say my name." she whispered to him.

"C... ca...sss!" he said with a noticable struggle to articulate his voice among the grunts as she kept thrusting at him, and squeezing him like a used dishrag.

"Yeah, rare treats like 'sleep', 'rest'!" She argued when the pants hit Nefertiti's face, then slid slowly off onto the floor, revealing the woman's narrow gaze fixated on the snake. Oh... you didn't...! She internally rumbled, her left eye twitching. She looked about, and noticed the guard was paying more attention to the television screen in his 'cubby' so she looked at Cassandra's cell and raised her left hand.

Sand which had gathered in the cracks in the walls, ceiling and floor within an instant, blasted the entire room! The abrasive blast chaffed and got everywhere as the Apophi tried to get her 'slits' worth, her young charge also covered completely in sand! Smiling, Nefertiti rolled back onto her back with a cheeky grin on her face as she shifted her butt side to side on her comforter and settled back in~

The clicking of heels echoed down the stone path, after the woman showed her 'pass' to access the sordid hall of 'fame'. The woman was tall, standing 5'10 with a rather dark and sleek figure. Her ample bosom bouncing behind the leather corset she wore under her jacket, her lovely ass swung hypnotically in those glossy black leather bell bottomed pants, as her black high heeled boots continued to echo her arrival down the empty corridor. The closer she got to the cell she had been directed to, the louder the sound of sin increased, which was somewhat cut off after what sounded like a smoke bomb being set off in a cell, sending sand everywhere. The woman's mirror black shades glared at the direction, till she saw the apophi, then she turned to her left, looking into the cell with the red head.

Found you.

"Ms. Arunari I presume?" Commented the woman, her cold, low voice echoing into Nefertiti's chamber far more effectively than the Apophi's screams of lust. A low, hollow tone that seemed to lack much emotion. She removed her sunglasses, lowering them to reveal her small crimson eyes.



"We need to talk." She addressed coolly.

Nefertiti had just closed her eyes when she heard the steps approaching her cell. She had a feeling... deep down, almost instinctively that the sounds sought her out. She twitched a little when she heard her surname aloud, as it wasn't something any old fan would know. She was Lianhua, the Lotus officially by the 'suckers upstairs'. "Dunno who you're lookin' for lady, but she ain't here." Nef replied back in a bored and tired tone. Okay, who the hell is this bitch and why do they know my name? Did Claudia send her? I gotta keep myself on my toes... She thought to herself, wiggling her toes and ignoring the woman. "Buzz off, I'm not into girls." She added.

The pile of sand in the other cell suddenly exploded, and was blown around the entire chamber by high violent winds as the Apophi cast her aeromancy from her body to free herself. However, she wasn't angry at Nef, just frustrated her "good time" had been ruined. But she had heard the stranger enter, and speak her words. She clicked her tongue a little at Nef's biting remark.

Slithering out of her own cell, and into Nef's, she dragged the poor boy with her, still wrapped loosely with one coil around his chest, and another around his neck, and to keep him quiet now, she had shoved the tip of her tail in his mouth to keep him silent.

"Nef," she whispered, "what are you doing? She's one of the ones from upstairs. This may be your chance, you might be getting a mission for your freedom here. Don't waste it!" Cass urged. Though one would not think to look at it. Cass was kinda like everyone's big sister among the gladiators. from the newest pit dogs to the reigning champions. And even though they all fight and bicker, Cass always saw to the best interest of her fighters. They were all each other had, down here in the Red room.

"Nef, eh? As in Nefertiti... Arunari?" The woman in black calmly inquired, tapping her glasses against her chest before sliding them into her purse. "Stop wasting my time, we don't have long and I have much to discuss. Are you going to continue this 'bad girl' act or do you want Dark Knight Claudia Van Wassen's head?" She explained. "I'm either leave knowing I have a powerful friend, or simply leave an overgrown child to live what days she has left before she's eaten by the Slugs; and there is no reviving from that, even with a War God's blessing, its straight into the void. So, are we going to talk like 'big girls' or what?"

In spite of the fact one day they might have to kill each other if Mr and Mrs Jay got REALLY bored, (as champions like them usually were sent out to kill the newbies from The Hold and or monsters), she didn't hate Cass, its why she called her Hisster, as a joke on her being a snake and a sister. Again, only the REAL CREEPS here would gladly rip and tear at everyone. She had no regrets, and even promised Cass she could eat her corpse if she fell to her blade but she'd have to pick the sand from her teeth for a while, while she would take Cass's poison dagger from her arsenal if the other way around. Irony, a former Black Anubis Assassin and Merc in training being on friendly terms with the order's ancient threat! Her elders would be rolling in their graves!

She rolled onto her side, picking at her ear however as she tried to figure out who long, dark and brooding was looming over her. All the while Cass was dragging her boytoy/happy meal along the stone floor with her. She only hoped the guy enjoyed his money's worth to be here, dominated by a sexy cobra woman, and potentially eaten. Cass did that to the last guy, and simply paid the Warden off, she had the money to do so after all. It was no skin off her back though, as he made a mistake in thinking he could choke her! W-well, he kinda did twice, on the way down!

The name hit her like ice water, and she swiftly turned her head to face the woman in black. She was tall, pretty, and stank of money, that was certain. She looked like the kind of people who'd hire members of Black Anubis, someone who isn't afraid to stare past the shadows and into the abyss. "Okay, lets say you caught my unbridled attention," She says, cracking her neck with a turn of her head and a well placed hand. "But I'm not fond of people who think they know me like an open book, while I'm still left in the dark on who the fuck I'm talking to." She yawned, sounding bored. "Or I could call you an unseemly nickname instead~" She chirped in a playful tone, closing her eyes with a single fang poking her lower lip as she smirked, her hands on her cheeks with her elbows resting on her knees as she stared ahead at the busty woman in black.

Cass looked suspiciously at Letizia, then she frowned as her gaze drifted to her prey. The boy was fun, but she had lost the desire for a fuck, but not all her appetites were satiated. Her tail hoisted the comparatively small human above her head, dangling him face down toward the ground, almost face to face with her. She flexed and squeezed his neck tightly for just a moment, to render him unconscious, but not dead or broken. She didn't enjoy cold meat after all.

"Such a shame... I was so enjoying our time together, I was considering sparing you the full trip. Alas, you overhear too much... plus, I'm hungry, and not particularly picky. You'll do. "Aaaaah...." she said, as she opened her maw wider, and lowered the unconscious fan's head into her mouth. Her teeth and fangs sunk into the soft flesh around his neck after his jawline disappeared into the dark pink tunnel of her mouth. Saliva pooled around his neck, followed by small trickles of blood where her fangs penetrated his skin. Gravity aided as she drew him in in a single forceful swallow. His shoulders, arms, chest, and belly seemingly fell into her mouth. Her jaws clamping down at various intervals, and her tongue tasted it's treat all over. saliva lathered everything the squirming organ touched.

His arms and hands were already pinned to his chest inside her esophagus, so they were out of the way, and Cass loosened the coils completely from around his waist, leaving his legs and feet to dangle limply, only supported by her jaws.



She relaxed a little after drawing in his hips and thighs, her head tilted back down so she could look at Cass and Letizia, her teeth and lips worked around on the boy's calves and feet, seemingly playing with her food as she smiled around the apendages.

The woman in black was coldly immune to the young man's plight, as she walked deeper into the cell. "Call me 'Ruth' for the time being." She introduced herself swiftly. "As it is, what I am doing is risky, and could get all of us killed, even your snake friend behind me." She explained. "So listen carefully. Should you accept what I require I will not only guarantee you Claudia Van Wassen's head, but you'll be able to leave a trail of destruction on your way out of these gates. I reiterate our window is small for the next phase, so-" she then pulled out a wanted poster both women had likely seen flying about the place.

"Ruth... bullshit, but I'll take it over cuntface." she says, before taking the wanted poster and flipped it over, looking to see if it was supposed to be something more clandestine in nature. "Okay, I give up on the puzzle, what's to know about this vampire chick? We used the posters for TP around here, what do you want? You want her dead? Can't really help ya from here, and I don't like killing someone unless I want to." She explained, though she sounded psycho likely. She wasn't wrong though, she didn't want to kill someone unless it was in defense or if they really pissed her off, but taking hits... she wanted more info, she wasn't like the cult she grew up in, not entirely anyway.

Cas' smile widened, even as her long tongue coiled itself several times over one of the boy's limp feet, both of which were barely outside the Lamia's mouth, framed by her teeth and lips. He hummed a little to herself keeping the boy right there, and patted her abdomen, right above where her prey's face was visibly bulging against her firm, toned abdominal region. Her visibly warriors muscles were shaping themselves around his face just barely enough for him to be visible beneath the deep violet skin.

If they listened hard enough, both of them could hear a barely audible heavily muffled moaning from him.

She wasn't wrong though, she didn't want to kill someone unless it was in defense or if they really pissed her off, but taking hits... she wanted more info, she wasn't like the cult she grew up in, not entirely anyway.

She raised her eyebrow at Nef's hostility towards Letizia. Something got under the younger gladiator's skin it seemed. She looked over Nef's shoulder at the wanted posted. Then, after reading the poster's bare boned information, she finally swallowed, and her prey's journey into her digestive system resumed. The boy had started sobbing in his fleshy prison before she sent him on his decent, and now the muffled crying completely disappeared as he was moved into the thicker part of her tail, where her stomach was located. He was inside too deep to be heard now, and barely made a bulge inside the enormous muscular tail.

"Hmm, well if she's a Vampire, then the possible motivation is obvious. But if she's also a criminal of sorts, then the potential reasons for her capture or elimination go waaaay up. She could have crossed any number of law enforcement or criminals to earn a bounty. But to get a 25K Gil bounty, she must have pissed in the soup of some bigwigs or politicians or something." Cass surmised.

"I can understand the hostility, but the cloak and dagger nature is a requirement so we do not end up as Slug lunch." Ruth states, before continuing. "And no, its the exact opposite actually. I want you to take her alive." The woman leaned on the side of the wall with her arms folded, looking over the redhead's reaction. She took out a thin cigarette and lit it. "This poster is a fraud in many respects, but it does not lie that she is a killer. A dangerous one at that, a Rogue Deserter even, so the Gunslinger Association wants her dead, no questions asked. However I have questions, important ones regarding this leech and I need it from the woman's mouth herself. Accepting this task may put you in worse shape than sticking around here, it may even kill you. However, I figure it be better to die out there than in this arena, no? And thats only if you fail." She replied exhaling a long drag from her cig. "Find and bring her to me, and I'll not only give you what you need on the woman who betrayed you, but I'll pay 100,000 in Gilex. But you have till I finish this cigarette to agree, or I'm walking empty handed and your staying here."

Part of her wanted Cassie to swallow this bitch alive, kicking and screaming, the other half was intrigued. She was being highly vague with her on how much she knew about her, which only made Nef believe that she was somehow involved with her incarceration in this shit hole. On the other hand, she was supposedly offering her freedom, potentially even more. "Okay no need to put your panties in a twist!" she paused, and looked up at her. "If I say yes, I'm not leaving Cass here. She may be a loud snorer and a messy eater, but she needs to get out of this place, she's been here far longer than I! And truth be told, I'd die of regret if she died here and I wasn't the one who turned her scales into a lovely new hoodie myself." She teased her friend in a passive aggressive manner, it just kind of how Nefi's humor was these days.

She blinked at this, turning to Cassandra, then back to Nefertiti. She shrugged. "Sure, as long as she can keep up you can take whoever you want with you." She replied. "I take it you want to take the job then? If so, you'll want to," she paused, turning to Cass. "and you as well," she then turned to face Arunari again. "...will want to sign up in a surprise fight the big turtle man in the arena, Mrs Jay's pet there, Mojo." She explained the hard part.

Cass's expression of shock when Nef made her demand clear, then when Leti accepted the demand, her gaze turned deadly serious and stern as she eyed the woman. "Manzetta, I'll say this to you only once so listen carefully. After this mission, my debt will have been paid in full. After this, I will not be returning. You understand?" she made her position clear.

She didn't wait for Leti's answer before she slithered out of Nef's cell and into her own, recently sandblasted chamber, and started rifling through her belongings, her visage hidden from them as she worked. The sounds or ruffling fabrics, and clanging of metals could be dimly heard.

She shot up from her seat! "Oh, okay, thats what stinks- you want me to fight the thing I've tried to avoid the last six years?? Hell, that big thing almost ate Cass once! What the hell kind of plan is taking on the Adamantois??" She spat, her green eyes wavering with anger but a twinge of fear... the beast was undefeated, it was a glorified cheat activation by Mrs Jay when things got too 'boring' for her, this was potential suicide!

She glared at the snake as she spoke. "Hm. You can do what you want for all I care, but I don't appreciate you breaking my cover like that. I'm just as dead as you two are if shit hits the fan now." She explained, knowing what the snake had forced 'Ruth' to do. "Keep referring to me as Ruth from this point on till you are out of this damned place." She ordered, before continuing and turned to Nefertiti. "You have no choice now but to continue. You do not need to slay the monster, you just need to live long enough to see the escape route open up. This entire facility was built into a stabilized sinkhole in the Beijio Badlands. Its sand. I'm sure you know what you can do with sand, Nefertiti." She hinted to the red head before dropping the cigarette and snuffed it out with her shoe.

She looked between the pair like they were crazy. "What? Wait... DO YOU BOTH KNOW EACH OTHER??" She spat, head snapping between both women swiftly. "Ok, okay. Calming down," she put her hand out as she took a moment. "Okay... so you're saying our 'exit' is through the opening... five or six hundred feet above us? And survive Mojo for... how long? How long is 'opening' Roooth??" Stammered the concerned Nefi, who then turned to Cass. "You, you're not off the hook, I wanna be on the same page as the rest of the class!"

"Its complicated," she answered Nefertiti, regarding Cass. "About 30 minutes. Its going to be a tight window, and its as fast as I can offer." She explained.

Cass continued with whatever she was doing inside her chamber. They didn't see her, but she was placing on a suit of armor and clothing she had not worn for nearly three centuries. Not since she was first endentured to this place. It was a full set of her people's battle armor. Ceramics, ballistic weave, and titanium plating over a leather corset and cloth undersuit covered her humanoid torso, with spiked paldrons rising from her shoulders. Her upper arms were bare, and allowed for freedom of movement for her arms. gauntlets and bracers for protecting her wrists and hands, and a plated armored skirt protected her hips and base of her tail. The back part of her tail was armored thickly with interlocking slatted plates that moved fluidly with her tails movements, like a well oiled machine, the rivets were ball jointed and made no sound. The underbelly was unarmored, but rarely exposed in a fight. The deep violet plates, framed with mithril silver adorned her body like she had never stopped wearing it. Last to go on was the clasping of the black cloaked kape that flowed from beneath the paldrons down her back and gathered around her tail.

She then took her ancestral bow, and a quiver of arrows, and strapped those over her shoulders, took two massive curved long swords, and strapped one to each hip, before picking up the massive black glaive/halberd, and slithered to her trunk, taking her supply belt, and her coin purse, fastening them to her waistline, along with two sets of pouched bandoliers which she strapped in a chris-cross over her chest. And finally in a snall harness at the back of her wast hung her thorned whip, which Nef had once assumed was for her BDSM games, till she saw her tear through the arena fights one night of particularly foul tempered rage from the snake woman. She had eviscerated a dozen fighters that night.



Cass shlithered out of her chamber. "Don't worry Nef... Only reason he got as far as he did, was because I didn't bring my best toys out to play." she said, a vicious smile crossed her face.

"30 minutes? 30 minutes? Against the Beast??" She began to freak out, holding her head as she took all of this in. "Oh Gods, we gotta survive a half hour with the damn turtle from hell, waiting for a Godsdamn signal you still haven't told us!" She spat, then quickly checked out the cell, noting the guard in his booth was still busy watching said turtle fight some alien looking woman in the Arena. Sighing, glad he was in his own world, turned to the overly equipped Snake... granted, she would need those if they were going to face Mojo head on! "Okay... but 30 minutes...?"

"30 minutes is all I can spare you," she reiterated, before turning to the guard. "...I'd suggest subtly till you are outside. You may want to hide that arsenal before you get past the clean room, they can't stop you when you're already out there after all. Once you are registered to fight Mojo and you pass that clean room? You can do whatever you want, but remember you will have to survive quite a while against that beast." Ruth continued, and began leaving the cell. "Oh and, please act normal till after I leave? I'd rather not get pulled aside by the goon squad on my way out of here. Meet me at the mouth of the Amaine forest if you make it out. Thirty minutes." She repeated, pulling up her sunglasses and began heading back the way she came.

She gambled quite a bit, broke some bridges as well, but having an Arunari not tied to Black Anubis in her hand is a gamble worth making right now.

Cass watched as 'Ruth' disappeared back upstairs. She smiled somewhat as the guards knew better than to question the giant serpentine woman. She had a lot of pull with them thanks to her reputation, both inside the arena AND her perfect track record of mission successes. She made sure her record was perfect, she could not afford failure while still owing a debt to the families.

She turned to Nef. "Your guns still in the guard armory?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'll just sign them out I guess. Gods I can't believe I'm doing this." She sighed. The guards usually kept the weapons used by the residents of the 'High Rise' till they were ready to enter the arena. For long range users, like her, she was also able to take as much ammo as she needed or they had...sometimes. It was randomized how much ammo she'd get however... she had a cheat of her own.

She walked over to the sink and uncapped the nozzle, removing a small gold ring with various infinity symbols scrolled around its surface. "I'll doubt an infinite supply of fifty cal will be effective against that thing, but considering we're planning to blow this Popsicle stand I guess we also don't have to hold back anymore." She half smirked slipping the ring onto her right hand. She turned to Cass. "If we fuck up, we're dead anyway with the number of rules we're breaking so why not? Lets give our lovely fans one big show, huh?" She laughed sardonically.
