Irvine looks up at the strange man who appeared before him. He stands up slowly, observing the new guy. He seemed to just appear from no where, but what he noticed the most was the Ace of Diamonds playing card in his hand...it looked familiar to him. He glances back up at the man's face. His composure relaxed a little. "Care to explain what may have happened here?" he asks, placing a hand on his hip, but occasionally kept glancing down at the playing card...

"I could," Seifer replied nonchalantly. "But that wouldn't be as much fun as showing you. I imagine the party is just getting started. There are lots and lots of...guests, you call them?...at this casino of yours." Seifer then chuckled to himself. "And on the planet too, who am I kidding?"

Seifer noticed that the man was slightly fixated on the Ace of Diamonds, so he tossed it his way, having it land right at his feet. "Some sentimental value in that card?" Seifer asked.

Irvine cocked an eyebrow at the man, finding his cryptic response rather unsettling. He takes a slight shifting step back, and watches the playing card be tossed from his hand, landing next to his feet.

"Some sentimental value in that card?"

His eyes concentrate as the card flips over on it's back, and the hair on his body raises. The back's beautiful design and the gilded edges were all too familiar. He quickly looks back up. "Where did you find that card?" he asked, almost in a shout.

"What's your name, kid? And your deal? I kinda like finding out which side people are on."

He lowered his head slightly. There was no doubt about the card being part of a set; a set of cards belonging to the one woman that constantly turned down his advances. The 'Goddess of Victory' herself...

The man before him belched, and Irvine smoothly replied with an 'excuse you'. "My deal? Know what side I'm on?" He mutters...already having thoughts about the man before him leading to suspicion, he tried to play it cool...after all, he had one of Rio's cards so he might know more than he lead on. "The name's Irvine...I'm just a guest as well..." he states, his foot next to a gun, but made no indication that he knew it was there. "What do you mean by 'side' exactly...?" he asked.

Seifer kicked a dead body away from him like it was nothing more than a sandbag. And pretty powerfully, actually. "There are only two sides. Ever. To anything."

He opens one hand, "Good," then opens his other, "or Evil."

The most serious he's looked during this entire encounter, his amber eyes gaze straight at Irvine. "Which. Side."

He tilts his head a little, trying to look away from the piercing amber gaze-from over the man's shoulder he sees something slimy laying on the floor...he cant tell from this angle just what they were exactly, but still the sight of it made his skin crawl. Still looking at the clothes he states: "In my experience, good and evil don't exist. There's only 'you' and what you have to do in order to survive." he says back, turning his gaze back on him.

Seifer had noticed that all the slime in the room had irked Irvine. With the raise of his hands, all of the slime was suddenly sucked toward Seifer's arms, wrapping around them before being absorbed.

The woman let out another gasp, the man's touch was rough and unexpected-and the way he moved so fast. She turned around, swinging out her left hand to slap the perverted man. "Stay away from me! I know karate dude!" she screams pointing at Irvine furiously.

The swimmer's voice and pointing finger made him turn towards her, and with Seifer's words he felt as if someone had just punched him in the gut. The growl made him reach out towards the woman. "No! Get away from him!" he exclaimed to the poor swimmer.

Seifer suddenly begins to transform before the two of them. He grows to at least fifteen feet in size, his broadening shoulders becoming one with his head, combining to form a point. His clothes burst off him as his limbs grow three times their size in muscle, and a long tail with a fish like fin whips out the back of him. His skin becomes a dull gray and his eyes an eerie black.
