The Kitchen/Living Room

In this lovely abode there is a kitchen living room combination. The kitchen is half size with tile flooring and complete with dishwasher, mini-frig, sink, counter, and two cabinets. There is a small tabel with three chairs. On the living room half there is a couch with an end table. At the end of the table there is a plush cushion across from this find piece of furniture is a small television set.

Alanna busted into the room and scurried rapidly picking up panties and pants here and there. She found a bra in the handle of the refrigerator as she quickly picked up the laundry she just did mere hours ago of the kitchen table. She blushed as she noticed specifically a set of lingerie on the television set. She grabbed it and tossed it all into a pile in her bedroom...she hoped there wouldn't be a need for Asura to have to go in there.

Alanna looked around and noticed that with just picking up the clothes the room was basically clean except for a few dishes here and there so she decided to sit down and wait for Asura. "Heh...home sweet home..." she chuckled nervously to herself.

About thirty seconds after Alanna was done, Asura opened the door. She entered looking around the room till her eyes met on Alanna. She grinned. "See, this place isnt so bad-I was half expecting lingerie and spoiled food lingering around by your initial shock." she said with a slight teasing chuckle as she took a seat beside Alanna. "So this is your place, eh?" she asked her left hand tracing the outlines of the seams that was embedded in the arm of the one side of the couch. "It's bigger than my place, I'll tell you that much" she said with a grin as she looked back to Alanna. There was something about her that caught her eye besides her ring. "Are you part elf?" she asked cocking an eyebrow.

Alanna laughed as she stretched and hugged her knees replying sarcastically, "Why yes I am...only noticing the ears now are you?" Alanna was relieved that she was able to pick up the clothes just in time before Asura opened the door...

"You have no idea how right on the mark you were about what it looked like..." Alanna thought to herself. "This place is just big enough for me to feel cozy. In the way of space for two people i think that would push it...I mean there's only the couch and my bed for people to sleep!" Alanna flipped on the tv and turned it to the latest episode of Galiavan HEAT. "So what do you think of Galiavan Heat?...I think it was better when it first came out eighteen years ago." Alanna inquired as she bit her lip hoping her being part elf wasn't a problem for Asura.

Asura grinned. "It's just a big gossip channel, more or less. I was at the tournament the day they made their debut...still my memory of all that had happened that day eludes me..." she started. "All with the exception of a few things...people more or less.." she shook her head at the somber thought and turned to Alanna. "No, it's by your eyes-the reason I could tell your an elf. All elves have a certain spark in them that differs from humans. And dont worry, I'm actually quite fond of elves-most of my trusted companions of the Chivalier 'de Ordre were elves." she added-noticing Alanna's sudden hesitation.

"Chivaliers D'Ordre? I've never heard of it but you know elves...that's cool. Wish i knew who my bloody parents were...all i remember is living in an orphanage before I moved into here as a teenager. Alanna slid over to Asura and put her arm around her squeezing her tight to her chest once again saying, "Sorry if I come on a bit touchy but...I just get the urge to hug you." Alanna smirked and laughed at her own comment while thinking inside, "I need to stop...at this rate i'll lose what appears to be my only friend in this place. Even if she's cute you need to resist Alanna"

She released her hug quickly leaning back into the couch watching the show, "But yeah I agree...it's a lot of gossip but it can be interesting to see what happens to the reporters! Like that Ami girl when it first premiered getting swallowed by a dragon...that was great."

She had a trickle of nervous swet as she thought about that. "Yeah-that reporter wasnt the only one he ate..." she said softly as she blocked the thought from her mind again. Though soon her demenor returned and she grinned. "Its ok, hugs are definitely needed in the world..." she said as she saw her reflection of herself suddenly remembered something stratus had said to her briefly: "You act like there's no fun in the world..." she shook her head and returned the hug-though it was kind of akward since she hadnt given a hug to anyone in quite a while. "No harm done." she said cheerfully, feeling the cold metal of chain and ring even through her clothes-which struck her as odd.

"So I have to ask you acted rather odd...when I showed you the necklace. It was like you were in a trance by it or something. What's the deal?" Alanna asked as she hugged Asura even tighter feeling cold sweat on Asura. Alanna looked at Asura's eyes as she hugged her even tighter wondering, "Why are you nervous? I'm the one who has lingerie and crap in a pile in the bedroom..."

She sighed, wondering when this would come up. "I...dont really know. I feel...drawn by it somehow." she replied. "Its like it's alive...and I'm longing for it-but Alanna...she must know where she got this article of jewlry." she thought as she looked at Alanna's face again. "Where exactly did you find that?" she asked.

"I found it at a store down the road...the vendor dude said it was from towards the end of some epic Wargod battle. He picked it up from the battle scene thinking it was unearthed treasure or something of the sort. To think i only had to pay 40 gilex for it!" Alanna replied as she snuggled up against Asura and started to play with Asura's hair. She reached in between her breasts and brought out the icey could ring placing part of the chain around Asura's neck so they were both connected by the jewel.

Alanna giggled at her actions and commented, "I don't want to move so I figure if I place part of the necklace around both of us you won't be moving for awhile."

Asura blushed red-feeling a sort of calm come over her. She smiled. "Alanna..." she said closing her eyes-setting her head upon Alanna's as she listened to the T.V. in the background.

Alanna smirked as she continued to play with Asura's hair with her right hand bringing her fingers through the strands of hair and starting all over again. She got an idea in her head and was reluctant to go through with it, "You don't want to creep her out anymore then you have...relax..." Alanna not wanting to creep Asura out simply kissed left hand's middle and index finger and placed them on Asura's forehead gently before removing them.

"May not be the real thing but it'll do for now..." Alanna thought to herself as she snuggled even closer to Asura making sure not to disturb the gentlle breathing indicating Asura's sleep. Alanna wondered if it would be better to relocate to the bedroom...then she remembered the mess and decided she was more then comfortable where she was as she slowly wrapped her arms around Asura's waist interlacing her fingers and closing her eyes.

Suddenly Asura's radio blared awake: "Sargeant Nuevella reporting in Mam! Excuses me S.C. Asura, but there is an urgent matter needing your presance occuring down by the town square-one of our companions were killed it seems! Cadet Thompson sent me to retrieve you; where are you Chief?" the strong yet excited youthful tone of a young man errupted from the small radio that was in Asura's satchel, the voice seeming to sound like the man was right there in the room.

Asura's eyes sharply opened, and she looked to her sachel-reaching in and pulling out the radio. That's when she recieved another signal:

ADN Inteligence Officer: "All Ithtecan ADN units, there is a disturbance in the Miner Village Area. Reports state that there has been a shooting-two ADN Personel were slain, I repeat 2 ADN Personel have been slain. The assailant is a man in his thirties, wearing a khaki suit with a gold dress shirt. He is armed and dangerous-"

The last half was drowned out by Asura's attention on Alanna, who was still snuggled close to her. She blinked and was blushing. "She looks-peaceful..." she thought when she remembered the call from Nuevella. She activated it: "Im on seventh street, I'll be down stairs in a minute-" she added. She looked at Alanna with regret as she got up to her feet. "Alright it seems duty calls." she muttered, sliding the radio back in her satchel as she began to head to the door in a slow speed.

Alanna's eyes blinked as the chain of the necklace started to pull against her neck. "Leaving so soon?" she asked rubbing her eyes and pulling on the chain to bring Asura back, "Didn't forget this was around your neck did you?"

Alanna smirked as she slowly started to wake up. It had been a peaceful sleep until all this commotion about ADN personnel being killed, and assailants. She keep a grip on the necklace so that Asura could slowly come back to her so the necklace could be taken off from around Asura's neck.

Asura's face went red again. She had strange feelings dwell in her-confusing her as she felt the connection between Alanna, Stratus, and herself. She tried to smile, but the earlier call was disturbing her, and the thought of leaving the chainlinked ring and Alanna scared her. "Heheh, I guess so...well, we cant keep the sargeant waiting-" she said as she pulled her along-dragging her by the necklace which held strong as she headed to Alanna's door.

Alanna's eyes started to bulge out of her head as she was being dragged out of her own home. "Hey...I think you're forgetting something...I'M NOT ADN!! Last time I was remotely in a fight it was a brat who was videotaping the girls locker room!" She tried to push her feet into the ground but to no avail so she started to walk right next to Asura with a distinct frown on her face as if she were a little kid who got woken up too early.

She muttered just audibly as she rolled her eyes, "Take she has some bright idea to explain a random civilian attached to her by a necklace..." In her mind she could only think, "Isn't there some other patrolman or cadet that can catch this guy? I mean an ADN officer...they used to be Tenik's boys they can handle themselves can't they?"

"You'll be fine-and you bet your ass I have a plan-" she said, at last a smirk appeared before her. They decended the stairs, and Asura explained: "Besides, we are short handed here-have you noticed the lack of ADN in the past week? It's because they all moved south to aid the Mayor of Roughland as they change the name to Jemial City. And-" she started as she hit the last step, turning to Alanna. "-I'm not going to let you get hurt." she finished with that grin of confidence as they headed out into the street.
