  • Spire Valley

Spire ValleySpire Valley lies in the shadow of the Crown City of Reledor, which lies atop Mount Reledor. It is called such for the number of spires throughout the valley leading down to Lake Crestmane and the Frosted Alpines. Each spire is a small village without a name, as the minor lords of each spire collectively call the region 'the Spire Valley'. Each minor Lord is in charge to light the beacons atop each spire in the event of invasion or oncoming strife in days of old.

There are at least twenty villages leading up to the Crown City. The Warren Slope is also located in this area, a popular vacationing spot for skiers and snowboarders.

Fort Valwynn, a guardhouse located on the incline of Mount Reledor and where the Great Valwynn Falls spill into Lake Crestmane is an active fortification which is in charge of protecting the Valley and act as vanguard for the Crown City.

  • Frosted Alpines

Frosted AlpinesThe Amaine gives way to the Frosted Alpines the further south you go, before you come to snowfields as far as the eye can see. The Frosted Alpines cover much of the lower west section of Gailden and then sweep around to the northwest into the Goukudo Region and the Beijionese Mountains. The natural forest edge is a loose boarder marking where the Dead Lands begin...

The Frosted Alpines also lead right to Lake Crestmane, which is at the base of Mount Reledor and the multiple settlements of Spire Valley.

  • Lake Crestmane

Lake CrestmaneA placid lake located at the bottom of Spire Valley, in which the Goukudo Falls in the Beijionese Mountains and Valwynn Falls spill into. It is said Lake Crestmane gets its name from a massive dragon who was felled in the area. Upon crashing down into the permafrost, the creature's steaming hot body melted and carved out the valley and lake bed. However, such claims are unable to be easily substantiated due to a lack of evidence. However, on some of the tiny islands in the center of the lake are structures; ruins of the Old Kingdom that had fallen into millennia of ruin and have since been submerged into the icy depths of the lake.

  • Warren Slope

Warren SlopeA wide and winding slope on the westernmost ridge of Mount Reledor. The slope in times past was one of the few natural defenses of the people of Reledor with which only the gondolas at Lovegrove Station leading up the mountain would allow one to easily bypass the deep snow and slippery slopes. In the present, its a tourist attraction for skiing and snowboarding. The slope is still treacherous to the uninitiated, and going down its winding hills is not for the faint of heart.

  • Fort Valwynn & the Great Valwynn Falls

Fort Valwynn & the Great Valwynn FallsA fortification of the Royal Vanguard of Reledor, which overlook and protect Spire Valley while also controlling the flow of the Great Valwynn Falls that spill into Lake Crestmane. The fortification has been there since the foundation of the Crown City, and is a vital fortress and the Matriarchy's first line of defense. It is said one method of grand punishment in Reledor is to shackle the punished to a vessel in the Sending Canal in the City above, letting the accused drift aimlessly down the canal, into the chute that would swiftly bring them to the mouth of the Valwynn Falls where they'd plunge several hundred feet into the Lake below...

Heart of the Goukudo Coven Matriarchy: the Crown City of Reledor
Set atop Mount Reledor which overlooks a great glacier to the south, Spire Valley and the Beijio Mountains to the North. It is the capital city of the Goukudo Coven Matriarchy, a small empire at the southern edge of the Beijio Empire and set on the border of the Southern Ice Caps.

The Matriarchy is made up of Queen Marika Ravamaer, Queen Faye Lovegrove, and the Immortal Queen Alea Valwynn.

The Goukudo Coven for which the Matriarchy get its name, were a group formed in the year 1000 made of Beijionese, Beijionese Sea Elves, Non-Beijionese, Forerunner and outcast Witches and Warlocks to survive a mass exodus from Eastern Gailden and The Dragon Emperor Benzi's domain. To ensure the coven's success, three leaders were chosen among the settlers who lead the construction of fortifications of the Spire Valley and made a fortified city atop Mount Reledor, named after Reledor Valwynn, a High Elf prince who had survived 'The Fall of Yggdrasil' and married a sea elf slave to whom he gave the name, Alea.

Supposedly, after a fight with a ferocious dragon, King Reledor was slain, leaving Alea to pick up the pieces with the other two leaders. In the years that followed, subterfuge and rivalry ensnared the three leaders, leading to the death of the other two rulers. However, to maintain the delicate balance of the Coven, Alea elected women from the House of Ravamaer and Lovegrove to the station of co-ruler, and thus the Matriarchy was born.

Since then, Alea has maintained something of a balance, but the rivalry remains between the three rulers; each house playing against the other whilst maintaining the presence of cooperation amidst this triad.

  • The Triumvirate: The Palace of the Three

The Triumvirate: The Palace of the Three

The Triumvirate is the massive castle at the center of Reledor's government, and is notably where the three Queens of the country make court with the Merchant, Farming and Military Guilds alongside the Nobles of the Goukudo region and the 20 Lords of Spire Valley of who make up its Court. The Throne Room looks like the interior of a Hazorian Church, with balconies on both sides of the long room which seat the Nobles and Lords, while the main floor holds three rows of pews that seat each of the three guilds, while lastly, presiding over the court, are three thrones elevated before a podium. The left and right seats are set slightly lower than the one in the center, usually reserved for Queen Alea Valwynn. It is to be noted, the palace does not actually house the Queens nor their families, save during times of strife in which the three have equal and standardized accomodations.

  • The Crimson Palace

    The Crimson Palace
A large, imposing structure obscured by constant blizzards in the Southern Ice Caps. It hovers above a deep crater where icy water flows to form a pitch black lake beneath the castle. The palace itself seems to be made of some sort of crystal or ice... ice stained thick with the blood of mortals. It was the palace of the Vampire Queen, Carmilla of House Carmilla till she was slain by her daughter, Reiri Kamura in 2639. It seems to have fallen into disrepair since...
