The Cheshire Cat
The Cheshire Cat was a building some considered cursed. Or at least it's owner history was something highly suspect, with one new owner after the next vanishing or making their final arrangements for purchasing the property and poofing out of sight. A long list of the who's who of where art thou now missing persons poster people.
But this day was the day of the latest individual to purchase the long listed realtor's curse. Mr. Lockheed stood across the street admiring his latest acquisition from the front of his newest neighbors front door blocking the entrance for the time being. The doors and entrance were dingy but still an impressive sight.
Two weather beaten lions of stone lined the entrance forcing anyone approaching to pass been them in their sleeping indolence. Perhaps waiting to spring upon the uninvited or unworthy. Lucius pulled a pen and notepad out as he walked across the street to examine first one lion statue then the other. After thoroughly examining them he moved to the front doors. A solid pair of double doors, though a bit on the narrow side in his opinion. And still locked by the reality company, Ithteca City Domestic Utility Management and Properties.
He slid one hand around the locks and gave them a good firm tug. Clink clank clunk they slapped together and dropped to the ground a spindly mess of crushed chains and locks. Toeing it out of the way rather than stepping over it Lucius walked inside, it was dark, very dark. So in proper Lucky Lu fashion he lit the place up just amping up his own energy.
Revealing the interior of the Cheshire Cat's first floor.
Give or take a space that looked to have the functional use of an office off to the side of the door way with a sign hanging from a broke chain which read Bo nty Hun in. The lettering faded or missing in places, but on the up and up it had a lot of workable space. Without much delay he searched the basement which was mostly unfinished rooms and open space save for a shooting range.
He moved on to the second floor which had been remodeled after the initial resale, into a night club, and lounge.
Then up and out onto the roof, which had after the nightclub owner vanished without a trace been purchased by a pair of Keropin lovers who wanted an open air pond and sunning room, on the roof top, but the pool was added to the existing sunroom and the Keropin's never moved in.
Sitting down outside looking off into the rest of Ithteca Lucius nodded to himself, it was a good purchase, now he had only one dilemma. What exactly to do with his newest propety?
