Keesae's Salon and Flower Shop

"My, my, deary me, oh no this isn't good at all!" Keesae SaRai says with frown, looking upon the notice of evacuation, despite having a few scheduled appointments for hair cuts! She shook her head side to side, toting the massive pair of scissors on her back, as one of her clients entered the flowery shop. She had a side gig of selling flowers she grew using the hair clippings of her clients, or the bodies of the victims. Granted, she did cut their hair with her Gaia Great Shears, so accidents happened now and then, but more frequently with trouble makers, and Danton was full of them.

She crumpled the evac notice up, smiling sweetly at the client. "Ah, Mr. Skywillow, welcome! Please sit, it'll not take too much time." She sweetly replied.



"Over here," She directed the man, tossing the wadded up notice into the trash before she got to look him over. The shaggy haired man took a seat, and the 5'2 Fennec Kitsune now positioned herself behind him. "Okay... same as usual, hm? Well then..." she started, pulling out the sheers:



"This won't take but a moment!" She says, playfully opening and closing the shears:



Shink shink shink, snip snip snip...

The metallic sound of her repeatedly opening and closing her shears... brought her back. That old feeling of cutting the battlefield a swathe with her massive blades was a fond, yet bloody memory. She was called various names- the hedge trimmer, the Barber of Galbadania... it was because of her, mothers told their children not to run or play with scissors! It had been a long time since she left the Galbadania Foreign Legion, Galbadania wasn't even a country in the modern times now, and it hadn't been one by the time she left the fold of her mercenary brothers and sisters. They were glorious, bloody, and exciting times... but she gave up that life. She told herself it was only going to be a small time stint, then she'd open up her joint shop of 'Salon and Flowers'; for the explicit reason to hide the bodies if she let her fingers... slip and snip the client's head as opposed to their hair!



Thankfully, these memories did not sully her blade work... this time.

"All done Mr. Skywillow! 50 Gilex!" She says, giving him a peace sign:



After being paid, she sat behind her desk, lounging back in the wheelie office chair as she waited for the last of her clients... and dreaded about the idea of having to close up her shop after all these years thanks to the evacuation order! It was stupid...

The young man entered the shop of his old coworker while she was focused on cutting her current customer's hair, his ability to stealthily enter wasn't put to the test as he simply opened the door gently enough for his hand to slip through, hold the bell and then slip his slender frame before closing behind him in a matter of seconds. She was in her own world, KeeKee, when she was cutting hair- or heads. So he had himself a little walkabout, checked out her flowers, plucked some nekojin she was planting for... later use, and then noticed the eviction notice crumpled up on the floor and pocketed it.



He then sat in the swivel chair beside the man getting his hair trimmed and amused himself, sitting up in the chair with his knees bent, swinging around the chair with his weight till she was finished, before he stopped the chair by grabbing the counter and stared at her. "Hello beautiful, been a while, meow, has it." he winked, saying 'meow' instead of 'now' not because he had that Neko speech impediment, but because he thought it was cute. He smirked, lips closed as to not show off his conical teeth that some people found too disturbing. He waved to her, and said: "Like the shop. I took some of the nekojin, paid for of course." He says, nodding to the counter where coins of platinum Gilex appeared magically, then the focus returned to him. "You finally got what you wanted! Happy for ya, nyah, ha ha." He says, in a bored tone, but a warm smile.

Keesae turned around to face the individual... and for a moment, didn't recognize him... before realizing who it was. "Ohh," She began, stretching her arms above and behind her head.



"Well, look at who the cat dragged in." She cooed, batting her long lashes. She turned her attention to the gilex which appeared, before glancing back to him. "...is this a social visit, or are you here for a close shave...?" She hummed... hiding the fact she was... a little flustered by his reappearance, not wanting to seem too eager to see the young man known for his... time with the ladies of a group which will not be named.

Blaine smirked playfully, had he a tail it be whipping around playfully at his lovely friend's current pose. "You know... I don't grow facial hair. Me Da never did either. Unlike most, I like me hair long and shaggy, the ladies jus love runnin' their hands into it." He winked, hopping from the current seat he was sitting in over to her's, causing the chair to bend and creak as he leaned towards her with his palms under his chin. "Wanna confirm such rumors for yer self, Keke~?" he teased with a wink. He was in a playful mood, and seeing an old friend like herself after such a long time was nice.
