On board 'The Major'
From below the musty deck rises a rather buxom beauty. With each forward motion she makes, her breasts sway and bounce behind their only support which was the ratty tunic like vest she wore. The kimono was cut to the length of her torso, her nether regions were near-exposed save for the small scrap of leather which made up a narrow high rise stringy thong. She glances to her right as she ascends the steps onto the deck, turning to one of her crew men who seemed to have stopped working. She reaches down onto her purple sash which held four swords and a handgun like weapon. She pulls the wakizashi out slightly, and narrows her big pretty brown eyes. "Is there something the matter Miller?" she asks the man.
The man fearfully shakes his head 'no' at the sight of the partially drawn blade, and quickly goes back to work. She grunts in agreement, letting the weapon slide back into its sheath. She walks further out onto the wobbly deck-high ocean waves pounded onto the ships hull powerfully despite it being broad daylight and the weather seemingly fine. She walks up to the wheel with a continued bouncing movement from her upper assets, her long black hair which was in a long ponytail also bobbed and swayed with her movements. She grabs onto the wheel and steers the ship south; setting course to the Continent of Gailden, where she would begin her pirating raid.

The winds were strong but calm, and the seas a deep blue. While the waves did batter the sides of the ship, they didn't seem to be of any threat and the southern seas were even more still. At first it was simply a slight reduction of current. But then it became unusual. The water was completely still. The ship's path through it was the only motion at all. Not a ripple, not a wave, and not any sign of life. There was also a noticeable lack of the sound of seabirds. The area seemed utterly dead. And then, as the blank water continued, the first bit of purple appeared.
It was just a light foam on the water, a bizarre purple substance split into little clouds here and there. Strange, but nothing large enough to present a real feature. At least until the larger clumps appeared. They likewise lay on top of the water, but were more solid, and as the ship came within apparent range they began to noticeably undulate in the water.

Shura's crew all halt their work. The 35 man crew look puzzled, and look over the edge of the boat and peer into the steady seas. The each mutter and talk frantically amongst themselves, each turning to the other for some sort of answer. "What in blazing hell is that?" one such crewman asks another, pointing to the disturbing purple mass that was floating in the water ahead of them. The other man replies: "I naught an answer; no...wait it could be whale blubber..that stuff floats to the top in a gelatinous mass sometimes.."
BANG! A gunshot pierces the stale air that now seem to hang over the ship. Shura, holding the smoking gun hands it back to the first mate before letting them take the wheel and she starts to head down the set of stairs to the main deck. "What exactly am I paying you men for? I don't care if your turning to stone, I'm expecting you to do something! Now why have we stopped? We should still be able to glide without the use of our sails!" Shura asks, both her ample bosom and her soft and large rump swayed with her movements as she pushed crew members aside and looked over the edge herself. She saw the same purple goo like substance ahead of their position as well. But she didn't seem to bothered by it.
"I think this is an omen...we're close to land, but there is not a single bird in the sky Cap'n Shura!" "Not a single breeze...I think I'm feeling sick!" "I think this part of sea may be cursed Captain Shura!..."
Shura closes her eyes and walks towards the center of the deck, shaking her head left to right. "You men and your piteous superstitions! We've sailed every bit of this sea together without complaints, and by the War Gods, you all better not be flaking out on me now!" she says, turning around with wide angered eyes; the spin causing her breasts to sway wildly about, surprisingly they remained modest with no form of bra keeping them inside the ratty cloth. "You all best be back to work on getting this vessel moving or I'll be throwing each one of ya into that purple goo myself!" she threatens. Thats when:
"Cap'n, Cap'n! Somethin's holding our rutter in place! I can't turn the ship! We're heading at a constant 'south'!" he cried, struggling to try and turn the wheel.
Shura snaps her head up towards him, and she jogs up the stairs with large lifting and falling breasts, a seductive swaying backside and long black strands of hair that flowed behind her that made up her ponytail. She stands by the wheel and tried to turn it, but it would not budge. "Have we hit a coral?" the mate asks. Shura shakes her head with a heavy sigh, heading over to the balcony behind them. She leans over it and she narrows her eyes. "Why don't you take a look for yourself?" she asks. He shyly makes his way over and gasps when he looks over the edge: a purple mass of goo was holding the ships rutter in place with an iron grip it appears.
"Bring me all the gasoline we have stored in the cargo hold." Shura suddenly orders the shocked and startled men. "Now...on the double!" she orders, looking at her stunned crew with much anger. The men all nod and head to work, each saying in one form: "Yes Ma'm!" Before heading below deck.
Shura sighs heavily again, debating whether or not to 'disband' this rather superstitious lot of men and boys for a whole new crew.

With each passing moment, the thickness of the purple ooze became more intense. While at first it had just been a spattering of foam, now it seemed to cover more of the view ahead of them then the water did. It remained still as the ship managed to make it's way onward, at least until the ship moved too far into the gooey mass, and the rudder was locked into place.
A low clapping slap came with each attempted movement of the rudder. It was being held firm by the slime, and each attempt caused it to hit back against the stern. The hit would cause slight recoil, which then released a damp gurgle form the thick ooze. It showed no signs of letting go of the ship. The gasoline might have worked, but before they had a chance to test it the purple slime on the sides of the ship began to bubble. It seemed to be boiling, before the water poured down, as if it was wringing itself out, and it moved upward in the shape of a wave. It approached the ship but did not fall, instead looming over, curving to blot out the sun over it.

Shura scowls as the barrels finally make it to the deck. Turning to the crew and then the rising goo in the distance she states aloud: "It took you long enough-now it's doing something else...It's showing it's true colours." she states to the men who were holding the barrels. Since the...'thing' was now slowly making its way towards the ship, she orders the barrels to be opened. She felt unease rise higher within her men, but she was still determined that this 'purple sludge' was nothing they could not handle. They were able to evade the ADN Naval fleets with this wood and steel frigate, it would be nothing for some slime.
"Alright, let's test it out men; fire the broadside cannons-standard shot." she orders. Men get to their feet and head below deck once again, and within minutes a barrage of cannon fire rocks the ship further, sending men and boys reeling back on their feet. Shura remained vigilant though, standing firm and tall with that bouncing rack of hers and that juicy rump which was exposed to the elements.
8 shots ripped out across the water, and each 12 pound ball slams into the slime that was rising above the water.

Re: On board 'The Major'
While the woman had her attention upon the slime, I swooped in from high above. I was rather average sized for my kind, a good twenty five foot or so from muzzle to tail tip. I flapped my webbed wings down upon the vessel, bellowing out an intense and angry roar. It has been a long time since I had seen such easy prey. I flap my wings and perch upon the highest mast; the weight of my body splintering the wood and rocking the boat little by little as I continue to flap my wings upon the crew below-sending them back in gusts. I noticed a crewman cowering below my coils during my violent gusts and snarling bellows. I curl my long neck and bring my face down to his level. I thought I had smelled someone up hear. I twitch my head left to right, inspecting the cowering sailor, a young lad perhaps in his early twenties in human standards. None of that really mattered to me, I simply snatched his head with the front rows of my teeth and pulled him from under my talons. He screamed and writhed under my influence, clinging to his neck as he choked, hanging him high above his deck. Having been born with a near endless void of a stomach, I quickly jerked back, engulfing the young lad up to his knees before snapping my neck entirely back once more-slightly widening my jaws and then clamped them tightly. The wiggling bulge of the young man's body traveled down my neck and quickly filled my stomach with no noticeable change. I turn to the deck, my forked tongue glazing across my serrated teeth as I belch out a flame that spewed across the deck. I let out another tremendous roar, using my wings to spread the fires faster along the length of the ship due to my gusts.
