Shi-On Harbor Village

A quaint harbor village on the coast. Shi-On's a common stop location for those who are either heading to Scardia or who take the Long Route Ferry to Beijio, in which case this is the fifth stop before heading to Beijio.

Momo beamed, swinging out her long legs in excitement as the boring passenger vessel finally stopped. She turned to Hikaru, who looked as displeased as he ever was and giggled. "Hey whats with the frown Onisan? Look, I know we took the wrong Ferry, but there isn't much we can do about it now, can we? Look the next departure is going to be in a couple of hours, and we'll be in Beijio! So let's go step out and stretch out feet out!" She says, personally excited because she didn't want to sit on this boat during the waiting period. "Gosh I hate waiting for everything. Why can't everyone speed things up?" she thought briefly before drowning those thoughts out with exciting images of scoping out this new location! She had never been to this Island, but she had heard of it. Often confused it for the island across the stretch of ocean between them. "So...can we pleaaase walk around the village till we have to leave?" She says pouting, her red eyes wavering and her hands placed together in a prayer fashion as she whimpers to her big brother.

He still was beating himself up for stepping aboard the wrong vessel, his hands holding up his chin. The Kitsune frowned, turning towards the Usagimimi. He lowered his eyebrows, a slight irritated fashion as he watches her attempts to plead with him. She was definitely able to read his actions more clearly as an adult than the little rabbit she was when she was younger. The fox closed his eyes and drew a deep breath before expelling a sigh. "I don't know Momo, it's a bit of a time stretch. If we abandon this vessel now, we may get lost in the village and when the time comes for the departure..." he says this, reopening his eyes only to see his sister lean in closer, continuing to pout, but it looked like she was placing too much effort into it: her eyes were nearly doubled in size, her pout was too stressed-it was actually cracking in a few places (Momo really couldn't force a frown upon herself if she wasn't sad), and her whimpers were loud and high, in a very childish manner.

"Hmp." he grunts, not impressed with her performance. "Though I suppose you would just keep this up till we left anyhow, okay fine. But we're getting on this boat a half hour before it departs again, is that clear? We really can't afford unneccessary delays...." he says with an exasperated sigh, slapping his hand against his face.

Momo gleamed, instantly shedding her false sorrow and leaps up and hooked her knees, her arms high above her head: "Yippee!" she exclaims, landing back upon her feet, taking hold of her brother's free arm, hopping up and down with unrestricted joy; his arm swaying up and down with each hop she made. "You're the best Onisan!" She says with a beaming smile, pulling him along and forcing the man onto his feet and dragged him unrelentingly off the ship, down the ramp and into the village. As soon as more and more villagers appeared however, her excitement seemed to bottle itself up. She remained smiling and grinning, but she clung closer and closer to Hikaru's left arm till she digging her shoulder into his. The crowds were... intimidating. Still this village was just like the last one they left, but... it didn't help too much. The crowds...

"This place sure is nice, isn't it Onisan? Look at that mountain in the distance! It's so pretty!" she exclaimed, changing the subject and pointing at the tall snowcapped mountain which was further inland it seemed.

He blankly and almost lifelessly allows her to make him a ragdoll as she pulls him into the village. Within only a few feet from leaving the boat her distance from him from came from about a foot to her shoulder graizing against his arm. Her slender fingers wrapped around his hand also went really tight as they walked past a crowd of outsiders mingling with men and women wearing Kimonos. He looked over at her with some worry, before letting a soft sigh exhale. "Momo's fear of crowds is going to be a problem once we get to Beijio..." he thinks, taking his eyes off her. He looks up at the mountain and then nods. "Yeah, it's definitely pretty.." he says taking note of the strange spiraling roads that ran up it which were completely invisible to the mortal eye like humans or even some creatures like Momo. That mountain was a home for somebody-some group. No doubt about that. He spotted a jewelry stand and pointed it out to Momo. "Look over there, lets go see if they can live up to your masterpieces." he says letting go of her hand and tussled the hair ontop of her head as he walked over to it.

Momo cringes as her brother scuffles her snow white hair. "H-hey!" she complains, bringing her hands to her head and readjusts her hair. She pouts at her brother, and its at this point she realizes he's more than five feet away from her. Her red eyes widen and she quickly chases after him and within the short distance grabbing hold of Hikaru's arm and tugged it towards her as she smiles. "That wasn't very nice!" She says in a teasing manner, cowering behind him slightly as they walked up to the open air counter. There were many pearly objects upon the counter's flat top, as well as jade, mythril and amethyst. The items were, at a glance, alright to her eyes, but she wouldn't know till she at least held one. She grabs a magatama, similar to the ones on her necklace, but this was made of jade instead of ivory like hers were. She examined it, rolling the comma shaped jewel in her hand before setting it down with a gentle smile. It had signs of effort, but it was far from mastercraft material. Whomever had carved the jade piece was definitely a novice at most. Still, like she thought, they at least put good effort into it. She looked up to the vendor and felt her insides shrink a little. She cupped her hand against her brother's ear, looking over at the vendor wearily as she asks: "Can you tell him if he has any Ebony or Ivory Ore? Or even some Jade?" she whispers in a very timid tone.

Aedus reappears at the base of the mountain it appears that no one had seen him suddenly appear there, he then looks up and notices the spiraling paths "woah that's a long way up would have sucked if i had to walk all the way down. Aedus then walks down the path and arrives at Shi-On Harbor Village as he stands at the gate he is amazed and slightly afraid at the amount of people in such a small village he quietly mutters to himself "Man it's noisy here" as he walks through the crowds he spots the harbour with a ferry docked next to it in he makes his way over to it hoping to find somewhere to sit so he can plan his journey.

When he feels his sister hugging his arm he lets out a long breath. He was beginning to feel the error of bringing Momo to Beijio, but they needed to go, there wasn't much choice if they wanted to survive. Once at the stand, he sighs again at her hesitation and timidness as she then asks him for his help. He raises an eyebrow and turns to his sister. "Why don't you ask the man yourself? He's not going to bite you, you know-" he says when his fox ears twitch. His eyelids narrow. He could hear the tell tale sounds of a spell breaking down. Momo probably would have heard it before he did, but she had little knowledge of such magical things.

For a moment he just stood in silence before he let the feeling of dread pass him. He turns to the impatient jewler and sighs once more. "She want's to know if you have any Ebony, Ivory, or Jade ingots." he says plainly, figuring he'd save them more time by just asking anyhow. The man nodded and handed them two bars: One onyx and glossy black while the other was a pure white and glossy rock. It wasn't animal bone Ivory like Momo's necklace was, but real Ivory was getting hard to come by now days.  Hikaru turns to Momo: "Well?"

Momo's tall ears had been able to pick up something strange emanating from outside the village, but she did nothing but twitch her ears. Once her brother finally spoke up to the vendor, she smiles wryly and gently lifts both ore's turned ingot. She rotates the moderately heavy objects in her palms, tracing her small claw like nails against their super smooth surfaces. She suddenly grinned, and nodded. "Y-yes. These will work!" She says excitedly. The vendor also smiles, and taps the paper on the post holding up the rag which roofed the stand, stating that ingots or ore samples were 200 Gilex a piece. As she left her brother handle the price negotiations, she turned her head to see a man wearing a red leather jacket walk past her. For some odd reason the strange noise she heard earlier seemed to linger on him before it faded and ultimately vanished. She blinked her large red orbs, and hugged her brother a little tighter.

Adeus walked past a jewelry stand and spots a young man and woman he notices the woman's large red eyes along with her tall ears "hmmm perhaps she can tell me where the ferry goes to" he quitely thinks to himself he sees that the man is occupied with the vendor so he taps the woman on the shoulder and then asks in a polite but also worried tone "Excuse me, i was wondering if you could perhaps tell where the ferry goes to from here" Aedus finishes with a smile.

Feeling a tap at her shoulder made the young albino Usagi-mimi to freeze up, her ears and fluffy tail stiffening, her ears tall and alert, her large red eyes widen and caused her lips to frown. She felt a shiver run through her entire body, and Momo felt petrified, she couldn't even scream. She felt her face break out with warm blush, turning her pale features into a full body rouge. She only let out a small weakened 'chirp' before she quickly shifted positions, and slid over to Hikari's right arm, hiding behind him a little and buried her face into her brother's shoulder. She was shivering, no more like quivering; and she slowly peered from her brother's shoulder to look at the young man whom had tapped her. He looked worried, but perhaps not as worried as she was at that moment.

To this she only stared, she couldn't open her mouth to say anything at that moment; the panic was still trying to settle itself down, she couldn't easily respond to someone who just scared the Gods out of her. She blinked, her large red eyes watery, looking like she was about to cry.

"Momo..." Hikaru called out, looking over his shoulder. "...Lets go." He looks away, pulling up his hood and began to walk towards the docks.
