A building behind the main shrine in the center of the complex is a large building dedicated for literature and general studies for the budding shrine maiden's studies. A senior Shrine Maiden acts as a teacher in charge of the younger students, as many enter this Shrine School as young as ten to train and learn in the arts of the priesthood.
