The Faith Breakers - Gendoshima military assets and code of conduct

Lord Reagent Doll Fel Ro Sheang, it is customary for the First Blade of the Faith Breakers to present each new Lord Reagent with the following information as it pertains to your office and the welfare of the Gendoshimen people in general.  First and foremost as it is known throughout Gendoshima the Faith Breakers are not an extension of the government and the office of the Lord Reagent in any capacity.  Our sole task is to maintain the borders of the country and prevent our people from repeating the mistakes of your past such as the Blood War which nearly wiped out our entire populace.  That being said the duty of explaining what befell the last Lord Reagent also falls to upon my shoulders.  He was in possession of the property of the Faith Breakers, and under penalty of our most sacred laws and duty we had no choice but to remove said property from his possession and sadly in turn his obligations and duties as Lord Reagent from him as well, it was an unavoidable situation for the good of all Genoshima.

Our duties Lord Reagent are as follows, maintain peace between our people not on a day to day basis but as a whole, to keep our people from repeating the mistakes of our past, mistakes such as the Blood War.  When our people had brought our entire civilization to the ground and a hairs breathe away from extinction our forefathers founded the Faith Breakers to prevent just such a bitter end.  Our other duties to the point are that we patrol the border not from external threats; as you know leaving Gendoshima is not impossible but it is against all of our laws to prevent our people from dying out.   Only a handful of cases are known of individuals arriving on Gendoshima, since before the Mist enveloped our island, these cases have been handled quietly by the Faith Breakers, this is our job first and foremost.

Though I do no wish to convey to you this information, it is necessary even more so considering the previous Lord Reagent's actions.  I will withhold the specifics on numbers and other such information, but our military strength though untested is substantial.  First the Faith Breakers, not to be mistaken with the nickname of our militarized units.


The First blade of the Faith Breakers is the commanding officer of our military.  The Second Blade and following ranks from 3rd to 15th blade are officers of equal skill and merit all trained to rise to the occasion should the circumstances dictate it, be that taking command in the event of the First Blade becoming incapacitated or taking local authority of a division as the situation demands it.  We serve for life the nation.  Our lower ranks are filled out with numerous un-ranked officers of equal skill and training as well, but our upper ranks maintain only 15 blades at any given time.

Before you think we are a threat in waiting to Gendoshima left unchecked, understand that we are incapable of taking control of the country, vying for power or authority of any kind within its boundaries.  Every member of the Faith Breakers is placed under heavy magical enchantment, which does not allow for us to seize any form of power within the Gendoshima.  It is literally impossible for us to rebel or create an uprising against Gendoshima, but as with the case of the previous Lord Reagent when the actions of either government threaten the nation as a whole we may intercede without delay.


GLACIERS, dubbed Faith Breakers as we maintain a ready force of Glaciers at all times to settle national security issues, carry the same name as the military forces in general the two are synonymous for one another, and they are as follows.

Glacier pilots are all cybernetically enhanced for service.  They are physically grafted with a Durga Frame; a pair of bio-mechanical arms and a harness attached to the upper torso of each pilot, fully capable of wielding weapons and unarmed combat.  




Or Glaciers for short are bio mechanically operated suits of armor.  Though the idea seems antiqued to use armored warriors these are far superior to plate mail or other such inventions of the past.  Our oldest models are by far the most superior as we did not create them and can only reproduce a fraction of their capabilities.  These models are stored under heavy guard and only the First or Second Blade can authorize their use.  I will briefly detail the differences of both models of Faith Breakers.

Bronze, copper, and brass plating, somehow far superior metals and builds than all of our reproductions to date.

Our mark II versions

Iron, Steel plating, and or modern metals as resources become available in sufficient supply, inferior to the Maker King's hereafter referred to Mark I's.

Weapons of note, not available to the general forces of either the Lord Reagent yourself or your counterpart the Wraith Reagent. to whom this information must remain a guarded secret.


Lethal armaments

High Frequency blade - we cannot reproduce this weapon numbers are limited only the 15 Blades have access to these

Plasma Blade - we cannot reproduce this weapon numbers are limited only the 15 Blades have access to these limited use

Rail gun - impractical for use without a Glacier

Laser - These weapons are standard equipment for all Glaciers mounted upon either forearm to the wears discretion limited use weapon as they draw their energy from the Glacier

EMDC's - Electro Magnetic Discharge Cables- standard equipment for subduing either individuals or large groups.  Draws from the Glaciers energy limited use, can be used as a whip without using up suits energy supply.  Ca be used as non lethal low output settings

Non-lethal ordinances

Water cannon - limited supply carried as a shoulder mounted tank

Air cannon - weaponized air blast, endless supply of ammo as long as their is gases of any kind to compress and launch.  mostly unlimited use.

net launcher- normal nets available but generally only electroshock nets are used, much like the EMDC's these have a lethal and non-lethal setting, but the primary difference is electroshock nets have their own energy supply.

Taser -  a miniaturized and portable version of the EMDC for standard police use.  Though it is a part of the Faith Breakers weaponry tasers are the only weapons we allow to pass into the hands of The Governmental Guards.

Shock collar and shock restraints -  Like the Taser The Governmental Guards are given access to these for the sake of peace keeping, law and order.


These last are only listed so you know and understand that our supply of weapons has even greater depths.  These last three weapons are sealed along with the Mark I's to prevent unnecessary risk to our people and the populace in general, and we cannot reproduce these weapons, numbers are limited

Frost Hammer - Emits a freezing agent with each strike, limited use of freezing agent.

Cryojet - A tool for cutting through even the hardest of objects, lethal if used as a weapon, limited use

Stun Dust - limited in supply too dangerous for regular use.  Strictly for nation security.

Plasma Shields - unlike plasma blades these do not have a limited use they are a passive nearly impenetrable shield of self-contained energy.  


All Glaciers are metal armors worn by pilots.  They tend to range six to seven feet in height generally reflecting the basic height of the pilot.  Each is equipped with a green tinted face plate to protect the eyes of the pilot from certain weapons within.  The are self-righting as in we recover our balance and standing position if we are knocked down almost instantly.  They do not suffer form being knocked off balance as the Glacier system maintains its own center of balance without pilot control.  Also note that in order use a Faith Breaker a pilot must undergo certain medical procedures which synchronize them to their machine.  Though they can be operated without this procedure it is a fail-safe of the Faith Breakers to maintain their secrecy and most of all to limit the access of any who would attempt to use our tools without our blessing.  Full functionality of the Glaciers is limited to what amounts to a glorified power unit war armor without the Faith Breakers medical procedure to fully utilize them.


Furthermore Lord Reagent Doll Fel Ro Sheang, the Wraith Reagent is not privy to any of this information save that of the shock collars, shock restraints and tasers, nor are any other individuals outside of the Faith Breakers.  We are sealed by magic to maintain this information until the day we die the same as we are bound to serve and protect Gendoshima, like the information regarding the Mark I's which your predecessor was not privy to, neither is the information regarding the magical enchantments privy to any outside the Faith Breakers saving yourself.
