Coral Square
Riala 'Ria' Riagul walked among the polished coral stonework, her exposed toes slipping off the porous surface. Her buttocks slightly swaying, her ample bosom swaying with her movement as she moved. She was smiling brightly, her large, bright blue eyes looking around the sights of the open market in this city where large coral reefs were reshaped and reformed into massive structures. She thought everything was so... interesting. She was slightly amused at how capable humans could be, milling about their short lives to create such peculiar structures. Her long, wavy, blond hair swayed around her waist as the wind picked up; her thin nearly transparent tabard dress pressed against her incredibly endowed body, the intricate designs sewn into the material were more noticeable against her creamy skin. She poked her head into some of the stalls, inspecting wears and the goods of the people before silently pressing on with a smile on her face. She had no real reason to be here, she was simply walking around and exploring this fascinating city till something else came up.

As the blonde rushed past one of the stalls, a young looking man with long silver hair paused from eating a bowl of ramen. His large, garnet eyes turned to face the scantly clad creature as she innocently perused the market. She looked like an elf, but she had a unique scent...
He sets down the empty bowl, leaving a handful of Gilex on the counter.
He stood up at six foot, walking over to the woman with his hands in the pockets of his khaki trench coat.
"You wouldn't want any of that stuff Miss, they're not as fresh as they look." He explained from her right, when she was inspecting some fish.
He smirked, pointing at himself with his thumb. "My nose never lies, they're just putting the pretty ones on top." He chuckles. He then introduced himself, providing a hand. "The name's Vern, you new around here?" The old wolf smiles.

Ria turned to the sound of the young man's voice, giving him a decent glance over before smiling. "Riala...~" She playfully introduced herself in turn, cocking her head to the side, her arms behind her back, her fingers laced together. "Something like that, more like I'm new to everywhere." She closed her eyes and stuck her tongue out at him before reopening her lidded gaze. "You seem better traveled on the other hand." She cooed, circling him, her lidded gaze gliding up and down his confident form. His hand was retracting when she noticed it, and she gently reached out to grab it, checking it. The universal custom of shaking hands... She thought, as her slender fingers caressed his and gently lifted his hand up and down. "Hmhmhm~" She giggled, closing her eyes.

"Quite the pretty name, Riala." Vern mused, watching her circle him, speaking cryptically. "Heh, I'm sure you are..." He says in an intrigued tone, his eyes glancing across her features. It was quite clear she was not from here, not even the boldest of mortals nor elves would wear something like that in a big city. He caught her sticking her tongue out at him, again reinforcing how alien she was; or how unabashedly unashamed of her lewd appearance. He chuckled. "That indeed I have... been all over this world. Seen many strange, wondrous things... many lovely and despicable people too." He answered, watching her take his hand awkwardly, before shaking it. Her slender fingers caressing his palm before she shook earnestly. He thought it was kinda cute.
"Sorry for assuming, but you don't look like you have a goal in mind. What are ya looking for around here, maybe I can help." He says friendly enough.

He felt his phone vibrating in his back pocket, and he chuckled nervously. "Ah... crap, lemme take this." He says, stepping back, taking out his phone and checked the number. It was one from that trading company, those cloak and dagger types he felt fishy of. He went to answer it as he walked between an alley away from the stalls. "Vern speaking-" before he could finish his greeting, his world went black, and he felt something poke into his neck, shocking his nerves! Within moments the man fell over and was spirited away by his unseen attackers.

Re: Coral Square
As the shady individuals carry off with the seemingly incapacitated man, a skulking presence lingers in the shadows, silently observing the abduction from a safe view.
Damn...I got here a tad late.
The hidden figure thought, her blue eyes blinking, her curvaceous figure shifting as she shadowed the kidnappers closely, keeping out of sight.

Re: Coral Square
The shady characters in question were a couple of normal looking civilians who were perhaps better built than most. A pair of men who otherwise didn't look out of place in the town, and didn't scream 'secret organization' or anything of the sort. They lifted the limp, semiconscious man up, one grabbing Vern's arms, the other his ankles, and loaded him into the back end of a dump truck parked in the alley before closing it. They slipped into the vehicle's cabin, and started up the vehicle before slowly making their way out of the alley; caution lights flashing above as they took to the street.

Re: Coral Square
The woman ambled over to the vehicle when the abductors had opened their doors, and quickly slipped herself under the vehicle with an agile grace that would have made her hard to spot. She pulled herself up and crossed her legs around the underbelly of the truck, holding on as the vehicle made its way out of the alley and into the street. Wherever they were taking the man, she was coming along for the ride. It seemed like her courier mission just became a rescue mission instead, but she was going to watch this play out a bit more before she'd become the man's heroine in shining armor. Though, she could tell, it was going to be a bumpy ride...

Re: Coral Square
Riala was a bit confused by the man's sudden departure, and felt his presence leave the vicinity with a departing trash vehicle. Raising a brow at this, the demoness figured she'd follow if to only observe these curious mortals closely.

Re: Coral Square
The vehicle jostled and bounced down the road, the unknown occupants taking Vern out of the city and into the countryside. It was going to be a bit of a ride to the outskirts of Sournois.
