Gil knew he'd only get one clean shot at the demon so he had to make it count. Crouching to a low profile, he tucked the trailing skirt of his armor into what folds he could of his legs to quiet his movements. Normally his armor might clank and give him away, but this was a trick he'd discovered by sheer conincidence one lazy afternoon. He darted from tree to brush, lugging the heavy rifle with him while the Gremlock battered the ground with his fists. He could only surmise the demon was making a spot to rest and digest its prey, presenting the perfect opportunity to strike.

Gil approached as close as he dared, ranging roughtly one hundred fifty feet from his target. The Gremlock was so languid from stuffing itself it never even heard him in the brush nor as he raised the barrel of the Demeter rifle. The firearm's weight was difficult to handle even for a man of Gil's strength. How had Vivian fired it so easily? She must have been stronger than she looked or utizilized some mechanism of the rifle he wasn't aware of. Regardless, Gil steadied his breathing, brought the rifle to bear with no small amount of effort, aimed down the sight at center mass, and squeezed the trigger.

The rifle's butt slammed into Gil's shoulder and threw him off balance, the recoil nearly blasting the gun out of his hands. But his aim proved true as the .700 caliber round slammed into his target's back at the right of its weight, splattering purple ichor across the trees and meadow. The Gremlock howled in pain and looked down to see a large hole now leaking blood from both sides. "Holy shit. Now that's one hell of a punch." Gil had been uncertain of the rifle before, but now he stood as a true believer, on his feet and ready to bear the brunt of the demon's wrath.

The wound left by the shot had claimed half the Gremlock's life already and left it too injured to flee. Now it had to stand and fight for its life, beginning the next part of the battle by whipping a dust cloud. With his vision obscured, Gil couldn't find a clear shot and was now dealing with a half dead, cornered demon....

"I've got to find it. I'm sorry, but it could help us get out of here." Vivian apologized before releasing Natasha and setting her back into the acid. She made sure to at least place her head above the pool. "What's she up to?" Elvira questions, still struggling to hold the curvy Aranea up. "My Del Luna Royal. My revolver. It could easily fuck this thing up from with." Vivian shot back to the Elvira before diving into the stomach acid, skin tingling from the increased exposure.

"If there's even a small chance she's right, we have to try. Put me down, I'll help in the search." Aranea knew how great the risk was, but she was tired of the others risking themselves for her sake. "As you wish." Morticia didn't object and the look in her eye told them all everything they needed to know. The four witches would join in searching the stomach as well.

"I'll hold this one up then as well." Kim waded to Natasha before slinging the elven woman over her shoulder and then carefully propping the unconscious redhead onto her other shoulder. Their combined weight almost made her knees buckle, but she could lean against the stomach wall for support. "Just try to hurry, yea?" She chuckled and selflessly held both women on her shoulders. The toned agent was put to the test for the moment, watching with eager eyes to see if the search proved fruitful. Kim could feel the elven women on her shoulder begin to stir and thought she heard her whisper, "Queen Alea and Queen Marika...they're meeting with Hemlock....trouble..." She didn't know what to make of her words but didn't have the luxury of worrying about them now.

Yet what felt like several minutes of searching yielded no tangible results, only soaking everyone further in stomach acid. "It's no use. I can't find anything in this burning muck." Rosette moaned and had to steady to herself to prevent from falling into the digestive acids. "FUCK! This can't be where it all ends." Vivian refused to give up, but the current search had turned up nothing. Should she ask everyone to continue risking their own health or put all their faith in the stranger she had seen?

First, how will Gil battle the Gremlock at this next stage?

A) Rush into the dirt cloud and engage the Gremlock in melee, Gil will dual wield his shortsword and longsword to combat it (-20% Stamina; Strength roll and will roll d20; Difficulty Check: 11; Success will inflict 25% damage to the Gremlock; Failure will inflict 10% while Gil takes 15% damage)

B) Try to find a shot with his bow, he'll wait for the Gremlock to make a move then unleash a volley of arrows (-10% Stamina and -7 arrows; Dexterity roll and will roll d20; Difficulty Check: 15; Success will inflict 35% damage to the Gremlock; Failure will still inflict 10% damage)

C) Try to find a shot with the Demeter, his foe will be exceptionally wary of the weapon though and Gil only has two shots left (-20% Stamina and -1 Demeter ammo; Dexterity roll and will roll d20; Difficulty Check: 20; Success will inflict 50% damage to the Gremlock; Failure will miss)

Next, what will the women digesting do?

1) Hold up Aranea and the others again, they can spread out the responsibility to spare Kim the full brunt of it and help Aranea (Everyone will hold the other women up again; Elvira, Moriticia, Rosette, Kim, and Vivian will lose an additional 10% Health)

2) Search one more time for Vivian's revolver, they have to find it to help themselves but they could just end up hurting themselves again (D20 roll: Difficulty Check: 13; Success will find the revolver and allow them to fire it, inflicting 20% damage to the demon; Failure will find nothing and everyone but Natasha and the Unknown Elven Woman will lose an additional 5% health; Kim will lose an additional -20% health due to holding the other women up)

3) Attack the Gremlock's stomach from within, they're getting desperate and need to make something happen (D20 roll: Difficulty Check: 8; Success will inflict 10% damage to the Gremlock; Failure will do nothing; Everyone besides Kim will lose an additional -15% health regardless; Kim will lose an additional -20% Health due to holding the other women up)

4) Do nothing, they'll stand by and allow Gill to try and free them to conserve their own health (Health loss will proceed as stated; Kim will lose an additional -20% Health for one more update due to holding the other women up)

Somewhere close to Gil and the Gremlock's battle, a shortstack of a goblin bounded through the woods. Naja Juggzboink was a beautiful specimen of a goblin with a curvy body, large blue eyes, and plush lips. She shared the pointed ears of elves though hers were much longer and even considered floppy due to her being a goblin. She wore two small golden hoop earrings on her left ear and a larger one closer to her head. A single golden earring dangled off her right ear. Bright red head hair bounced off her head with bangs held behind large round glasses. Two strands of red hair fluttered on either side of her head.

Her outfit consisted of a hodge podge one piece unitard that hung precariously off her massive bust. Despite being less than five feet tall, Naja was absolutely stacked with curves. Her wide hips and thick thighs strained the bottom of her suit while frayed stockings clung to her thick legs. A long tail trailed behind her, pointed with a patch of red hair at the end. Fingerless gloves rested on her hands though they weren't made that way. She had sharp red claws that matched those on her feet and enabled her to climb to unexplored venues. Straps of leather were tied around her feet to protect her soles, creating an odd sight for anyone unfamiliar with the curvy grenadier.



"That bitch hunter got what she deserved." Naja spat as she recalled her encounter with Vivian Bellaluna only an hour prior. Naja was out experimenting with the unstable arcane energy in the valley, evaluating its use in creating wonderful new boomies and flashies in the days to come. Bending over the ground with tail in the air, chest hanging out, and sampling the energy was an exhausting but rewarding task she'd devoted several days to already

But then the fat demon hunter sauntered up to the poor goblin out of the tree, demanding she help her locate a dangerous demon. Why in the world would the goblin grenadier do something like that?! Naja had oh so politely declined, but Vivian kept pushing the issue. She even bent down and shoved her finger into Naja's face. So rude! So she gave the only reasonable response she could. She set off a handful of flash powder into the fat hunter's face, stole her fancy sword, nabbed her extra ammo, and raced off deeper into the forest.

Naja cackled with glee at how easily she'd duped Vivian and gotten away. The only problem was she hadn't paid attention to the direction she ran in. Now she was separated from her Boom Carrier in hostile territory. Even worse, she'd been attacked by a hungry lizard and had lost prized Boomie Pack. Now all she had was a silver rapier that was impractical for her to use and oversized ammo with no gun. "I may have slipped up this time." The voluptuous shortstack thought aloud but kept running, Vivian's sword and ammo bandolier trailing behind her.

She'd evaded several predatory plants and the aforementioned hungry lizard, but the most tenancious predator was still after her. She'd never seen such a creature, it must have mutated from the abundant arcane energies in the valley. What the creature was originally was impossible to tell, but what it had become was obvious. It possessed the body of a frog lined with hard scales and leathery wings like those of a dragon. It had become a Frogon.

The reptile? Amphibian? Amphibious reptile? The predator soared through the air above the trees in hot pursuit, waiting for Naja to slip up and reveal herself. What Naja couldn't see from the ground was the indention of a poor soul already devoured by the Frogon. The identity of said poor soul just happened to be her younger, taller but similarly stacked sister, Nyni Juggzboink.

She'd been searching for her sister in the valley to see about collaborating on a new explosive after inspiration had struck, but she ran afoul fo the Frogon and lost all of her equipment. Now the gorgeous, voluptuous goblin was fighting for her life inside the predator's stomach. "Just wait until I find Naja! We'll-" She cried out before being sucked back into the Frogon's stomach, audible grumbling noises following the sounds of the shouting goblin.

"Can't stop. Gotta keep running." Naja told herself as fatigue began to set in. She was in great shape, but running so far on such short legs was beginning to take its toll. Naja's pace slowed at the same time she passed an opening in the canopy above, presenting the perfect opportunity for the Frogon. Its sticky tongue lashed out from the skies, aimed at swishing tail of the goblin. "Nononono!" Naja chanted in an almost manic tone as she felt the adhesive organ collide with her tail. It forced her to drop Vivian's rapier and banodlier as she was rocketed into the sky.

"Not cool!" Naja's shrill voice echoed throughout the forest as the Frogon gulped her down in one bite. Her shortstack body easily fit into its cavernous maw, but its tongue whipped her straight down its throat before she could even get a look at the interior. "Mmmmph!" She mumbled on her way down, never stopping until she plopped into a cramped stomach with a familiar face. The curvy goblin almost lost her glasses before adjusting them to see who lay before her.

"Nyni?! Why are you here?!?" Naja questioned once she saw the unmistakable visage of her sister cramped in the same digestive chamber. "I was lookin' for you, shortie. But then this stupid thing ate me. I dropped all my boombas too." Nyni whimpered, pressing against the roof of the stomach while her longer, luscious legs stuck out in front of her. Despite supposedly being adopted into the Juggzboink clan, Nyni bore a striking resemblance to Naja with her pretty facial features and long ears. Though her hair was a bright pink compared to her sister's. Nynia was noticably taller as well by five inches, a fact she loved to rub in the face of the older siblin. She wore a ratty unitard of stitched together fabric as well that miraculously held up her bust with one torn stocking on right leg. Nyni's tail was puncuated with a tuft of pink fur at the end to match her hair, swishing it through the slowly pooling acid beneath them.



With both goblin sisters devoured and digesting, their options were limited and escape seemed impossible...

What will Naja and Nyni do?

A) Struggle together, maybe they can upset the stomach of the Frogon and force it to the ground. Or they could end up making things worse for themselves (D20 roll; Difficulty Check: 6; Success will make the Frogon fly lower, Failure will do nothing; Both goblins will lose an additional -30% health regardless)

B) Do nothing, they'll bide their time to see what the Frogon does first (Health loss will continue as normal)

C) Use Naja's water magic to start filling up the stomach, she can apologize to Nyni later but it's sure to have some effect.... (D20 roll: Difficulty Check:10; Success will force the Frogon to land; Failure will reinvigorate its stamina to make it fly higher. Both goblins will lose an additional -60% health regardless)

The dust cloud made it too difficult to risk firing Vivian's rifle again and melee would still prove difficult given the state of his foe. Gil paced around the edge of the dust cloud before drawing his trusty bow. The black wood it was carved from yearned to be used and he was happy to oblige it. The steadfast warrior nocked an arrow and pulled the bowstring as taut as he could, taking a knee to watch for an opening. The Gremlock wasted no time in charging at Gil, wound splashing crimson across the ground. Its heavy knuckles pounded in pursuit of Gil, charging in a gorilla-like manner to break its persistent foe.

Hardened nerves allowed Gil to maintain his composure and loose the first arrow, striking the Gremlock's left shoulder. Years of training and finely honed instincts resulted in another arrow embedding itself just below the first. A third arrow was knocked and released in the blink of an eye just after that, piercing the opposite shoulder of the demon. Gil dove to his right, tucking himself into an elongated roll that swiftly evaded the Gremlock's desperate charge. Pivoting on his heel, the warrior had another arrow at the ready and launched into the his foe's spine. A sharp roar of pained escaped the demon's maw as it staggered forward, sealing its fate.

Gil was on his feet and marched forward, unleashing a salvo of three more arrows aimed at the back of the Gremlock's skull. All three found their mark and brought it to the brink of death. The arrows combined with its blood loss meant the Gremlock wasn't long for this world, but its digesting prey was still very much a concern for Gil....

"Fuck. Just attack the stomach!" Vivian was out of ideas and done with standing around waiting to die. The dhampier led the charge by rushing the stomach wall and tearing into it with her fangs, ripping small chunks away and spitting the disgusting flesh away. "She's got the right idea. I'm not going to stand around and die." Aranea soon joined by grabbing the blade in her ponytail and stabbing repeatedly at the stomach lining. She had the most to lose given her vulnerability to the acid, but still she fought on.

Spurred on by the sight, Elvira and Morticia did what they could by raking the stomach with their nails. Rosette whimpered as the burning intensified across her body but joined in on the assault. Kim watched and cheered the women on, maintaining her fireman's carry of the other two damsels. Several seconds of ripping and tearing at the stomach covered the women in sweat and acid, draining what remained of the their stamina. Several more intense seconds of waiting for any kind of change threatened to destroy their morale until a blade burst through the stomach...

Just when it seemed the demon might cling to life longer, the Gremlock keeled over on it side and finally expired. Gil watched anxiously as it drew its last breath. His eyes grew wide under his helmet once he realized what had happened. In that moment, Gil wasted no time in rushing to the stomach and plunging his shortsword into the rubbery hide. He tore the blade vertically from head to toe, ripping open a wide gash in the Gremlock's corpse. As he was disecting the corpse, Gil passively absorbed the soul of the Gremlock, storing it within his body and incorporating a portion of its power into himself. He only needed the time and proper set up to do so.

Foul smelling stomach acid poured across the ground, sizzling under his boots. Thankfully Vivian emerged soon after followed by Aranea, Elvira, Morticica, Rosette, and Kim still holding the other two women. "Gah bleh!" Vivian hacked and spat out the bodily fluids that had splashed across her pretty face, wiping herself clean as she stood up. "That.....was....too...close..." Aranea panted as she lay on the ground, dark skin tender from prolonged exposure to the acid. She had nearly suffered fatal burns and could barely stand, requiring Elvira's support to get on her feet. "How about we just go swimming in a pond or puddle next time?" The gothic witch quipped and held the dark elf's right arm over her shoulder, letting her enchanted dress air itself out.

"I think a shower is in order first." Moritica offered Aranea her other shoulder, supporting the buxom fighter with her own curvy body. "Gil! I knew you would save us!!" Rosette shouted with tears in her eyes, rushing to throw herself at their savior. Her massive bust hit his chest but didn't throw him off balance as she wrapped her arms around him, looking up with tears in her violet eyes. "It's okay. Sorry it took so long, but that thing was more of a fight than I could have anticipated." He gave the young witch a comforting hug and wrapped his left arm around her waist, letting her cling to him after their brush with death.

"I hope this proves we weren't here with hostile intentions." Kim said after laying Natasha and the elven woman safely on the ground. She wrung the remaining acid out of her bright red hair and flicked it back, breasts jiggling while her wide hips swayed back and forth. "You nearly singlehandedly killed the Gremlock. Color me impressed, Stranger. Might a hunter get your name?" Vivian asked of Gil once she was satisfied with her level of clean. Now that they had a moment to actually catch their breaths, Gil was able to get another look at Vivian. She was as beautiful as he thought she'd been at first glance, powerfully built and just having run into a spat of bad luck. Though being soaked in stomach acid had the side effect of making her nipples fully erect beneath her blouse.



"Gilgamesh Volf. Though please call me Gil, my first name is so stuffy and only insisted on by my father." Gil introduced himself with a polite nod of her head, still allowing Rosette to cling to him. "Volf, that name sounds familiar. By the state of your armor I'd have to say you're nobility of some kind?" Vivian's astute observation surprised him, but it wasn't the first time someone had surmised his heritage at a glance. "You could say that, but let's leave it at that. Privacy is appreciated." He responded with a wave of the hand though a glance at Rosette's face showed an enamored twinkle in her eye. "Nobility? Wow..." He heard her mutter and knew he'd have to address that particular subject at some point.

"Gil of nobility. I had no idea we were in the midst of someone so important." Elvira quipped with Aranea under her shoulder. Gil's eyes narrowed as he suspected the same origins might be true of Vivian, but unlike her, he would respect her privacy. His sharp ears then caught the sound of flapping wings and looked up to see a distant predator above the treeline. It looked as if it might be drawing near until it ascended higher and veered right, avoiding the clearing of recovering victims.

Or at least this seemed to be the case until the predator belched loudly and serpentined back in their direction. "What is that thing doing?" He questioned and pointed out the distant Frogon, whose belly still stirred with two voluptuous goblins. It was heading directly towards them at high speed and had the potential to make a crash landing. It was impossible to predict its trajectory so Gil would only be able to ensure the safety of some of the others....

C) Motion toward Kim to run and grab the other two women, he can pull them to safety (+10% approval with Kim, +10% approval with Natasha and the Elven woman when they wake up)

After that, what will Gil do about the Frogon when it lands?

D) Attack it with his blades, Gil can attempt to finish it off and potentially free any victims (-25% Stamina, Strength roll and will roll d20; Difficulty Check: 13; Success will finish off the Frogon; Second Difficulty Check if first succeeds: 15; Success will allow Gil to free Naja and Nyni; Failure for first roll will result in them remaining trapped while the Frogon clings to life; Failure on second roll will result in the sisters remaining trapped)

F) Use a spell to force the Frogon to regurgitate its meals, Gil can hear them struggling (-15% Stamina and -10% Mana; Arcane roll and will roll d12; Difficulty Check: 9; Success will free the sisters and slay the Frogon; Failure will result in them both losing an additional -15% health and remain trapped but the Frogon will still die)

Gil was torn with decision paralysis at who to assist first so he allowed his warrior instincts to take over. "Watch out!" He pointed to the Frogon and acted without thought. He grabbed Rosette by the waist and easily lifted the curvy witch off the ground while taking Vivian's hand. "Just follow me!" He shouted and pulled the two toward Elvira and the others. Rosette bounced under his arm and gasped as she held onto her wide brimmed hat to prevent it from falling. Her massive bust jiggled under Gil's arm, just barely remaining covered by the two straps of fabric that constituted her top.

Vivian allowed herself to be dragged out of sheer surprise, senses still dulled from her time in the stomach. She hadn't seen the Frogon coming and could have remained at risk if she had remained where she was. A soft smile spread across her plush lips at the heroic actions of this random knight, a rare breed indeed on the cutthroat world of Galiavan.

While there was still time, Gil gingerly released Rosette as he skidded to a stop before Aranea. "Sorry Rose, gotta put you down for now. I'll help Aranea. Elvira, Morticia. Follow me." Gil commanded as he hoisted Aranea up in a bridal style carry. "Oh my, I wasn't expecting to be swept off my feet today, but I'll take it." The voluptuous dark elf let her full weight lean against Gil's armored torso as he burst into a full sprint, motioning for the others to follow with his head. They frantically ran ten feet toward the trees to avoid becoming cratered by the Frogon.

Thankfully, Kim had seen and heard his warning and was in the process of evacuating the other two. Just in time as well considering the Frogon crashed where Gil had first been standing only a few moments prior. It created a long trail in the dirt, kicking up both brush and debris. The predator let out a pained croak while two figures pressed against its stomach, revealing two struggling occupants. Their busty chests were most prominent before falling back into the stomach, cluing Gil into what was currently at stake.

From his position in the trees, Gil could see the Frogon struggling to its feet and how vulnerable it was. "Sorry Aranea, gotta set you down for the moment." He apologized and rather liked holding such curves, but it couldn't last. The dark elf fighter was standing on her feet and blinked once before Gil was heading toward the Frogon with lucky coin in hand. He was done fighting inch by inch and intended on felling this foe in one attack. With encouraging shouts from the women behind him, Gil intoned the chant for a Great Heavy Soul Arrow, the strongest spell he possessed knowledge of.

"Unleash!" He called the final word of the chant and held his coin aloft, the catalyst for his spellcasting. His hand glowed with a vibrant purple and blue hue, crackling with arcane energy so intense it distorted the around him. An arrow of intense power then streaked at the Frogon and exploded in direct contact with its maw. Flesh and bone were disintegrated by the blast, reduced to nothing more than magical particles that dissipated into the air. The spell was powerful enough to blow away its head entirely, leaving two blinking goblin heads exposed to fresh air again.

"Nyni, you seeing this?" Naja's big eyes blinked up at the blue sky and fell on Gil's imposing figure, hand still radiating energy above him. "You bet I am, sis." Nyni was starstruck by the knight in shining armor who had rescued them from certain doom. The Juggzboink sisters clambered out of the Frogon's body with minimal difficulty, shaking themselves clean from head to tail afterward. Each goblin shook herself sensually as if giving Gil a show, lowering their cleavage so it was in full view while they turned their thick asses at him to do the same. The furry tips of their tails overlapped while running their hands through their hair, giving Gil salacious looks all the while.

He immediately noticed the height disparity between the two with Nyni's pink haired body towering a full six inches above her shortstack sister. The resemblance clued in Gil they were sisters though he was oblivious to their lack of blood relation. "You must be strong to have killed the Frogon so easily." Nyni purred as she sauntered toward Gil. He'd lowered his hand and put away his lucky coin by then, looking the goblin pair over silently to make sure they were okay. "Ooh, he's the strong, silent type, Nyni. It's been ages since we've seen someone this stacked." Naja noted Gil's strong biceps but couldn't get a look beneath his helmet no matter how hard she tried.

"Ladies, I'll take this examination to mean you're ok." He bowed his head to the sisters and glanced back at the others only to see Vivian approaching with a wrathful expression on her pretty face. "You! You're the one that stole all my ammo and my rapier!" She practically broke out into a sprint to assault Naja, prompting the shortstack of a goblin to hide behind Gil. "Strong knight, help! This nasty bitch wants to kill me." She peeked from behind Gil's legs with a wicked smile and fixed her glasses so Vivian could see the mischievious glint in her eye.

"Whoa, whoa! You know each other?" Gil interposed himself between the two so he could could a full explanation. "You could say it was because of her I was eaten by the godsdamned Gremlock in the first place. She threw flash powder in my face and stole all my ammo along with my rapier. That blade was a gift from the Immortal Queen Alea, you damn goblin bimbo." Vivian bared her fangs at Naja who legitimately yelped and cowered behind Gil again. "Keep insulting my sister and you'll find out what happens to people we don't like." Nyni knew Naja was more likely than not reponsible for what the dhampir bounty hunter, but she wasn't going to let the repeated insults fly. The taller goblin sister stood behind Gil as well with hands on her hips, fangs bared in a wicked smile.

"You wouldn't take no for an answer and kept pestering me. What else did you expect me to do? I had important experiments for new boomies to conduct." Naja stuck her tongue out at Vivian as everyone else watched in amusement. It really was a good thing Gil hadn't given Demeter back to the Vivian yet or else he might be staring down its barrel. "Tell this fat bitch to go away, Strong Knight." Naja pressed her buxom chest against Gil as incentive to side with her while Nyni leaned in so close he could feel the heat from her breath as well. "Move aside Gil and let me show her what happens to nasty goblins that steal." Vivian tapped her foot and cocked her hips, looking him square in the eyes as if expecting Gil to side with her. How had he suddenly been dragged into this quarrel? And getting on the wrong side of someone was the last thing he needed when they should all be trying to reach safety.....

Gil frowned internally and was thankful his helmet concealed his face. "Well, bickering in hostile territory isn't getting us anywhere. Vivian, I'll help you retrive your lost items, and, Naja, I'll assist you in your experiements. All of this AFTER we get to safety. What do you ladies say?" Gil offered his services to the fueding trio. Whether indepedently or in unison remained to be determined. He kept his tone sincere and body language calm, glancing back and forth throughout the silence.

Vivian and Naja glared at each other for what seemed an hour until both women nodded in agreement. "Fine. We'll keep this civil. But you're going to make this up to me, Gil." Vivian crossed her arms and harrumphed, turning her head to conceal a smile at his deft negotiating. "Strong Knight will go with Naja and Nyni! This works." Naja blew another raspberry at Vivian before rubbing her bosom against his leg in thanks. "Good at fighting and talking. Niiiice." Nyni licked her lips while looking Gil up and down again as he towered over her. Gil didn't know whether to be concerned or flattered with how the gobliness was undressing him with her eyes.

Either way, he was successful in negoiating a truce without hard feelings on either side. Phew. Gotta admit, that one had me nervous...... "Before we do anything else, I need proof we took out the Gremlock." Vivian pointed to the demon's ear and glanced expectantly at Gil. He obliged her by handing over a spare dagger as the bounty hunter swiftly cut off the tip of an ear and stored it in a pouch on her belt. "That should suffice for proof. Now if only it were so easy to repair my sidearm..." She revealed the revolver the group had desperately searched for in the stomach, now badly damaged by acid and no longer functional. "Ya know, that looks like the area of expertise of two goblin tinkerers." Gil looked to Naja and Nyni as Vivian held up her firearm with a disdainful expression.

"Eh, easy fix. But why would we help her?" Naja shrugged and stared at Vivian blankly, completely missing Gil's insinuation. "We're stuck out here with minimal weapons, Naja. If you fix her gun, she can help defend us and I'll consider it a favor to be repaid." Gil offered a future favor to incentivize the busty goblin. Naja furrowed her brow while eyeing her sister for possible guidance. Nyni quietly nodded and kept her own eyes locked lasciviously on Gil. "Fine! We'll fix. But not to help you bimbo hunter. We're helping Strong Knight." Naja huffed and ran to grab the revolver from Vivian, returning to her sister's side when all was said and done.

Feeling particularly exhausted, Gil figured now would be a good time to take a brief respite under the cover of the forest. "We could stand to take a load off for a short while." He told everyone after guiding them to a defensible position amidst the trees. There, Gil let himself collapse to the ground and catch his breath. "Aw, poor man's all tuckered out." Elvira joked and sat down at his side with Morticia close at hand, guiding Rose to sit at Gil's feet. "Our powers may be compromised right now, but this ritual draws from nature itself. Morever, I believe this is your area of expertise, Rosette." Morticia instructed and turned the attention to Rose.

"R-right. Mistresses, if you would please hold out your hands." Rosette closed her eyes while everyone else took a seat to rest. "Mother Nature, we call upon you to heal the wary and restore our strength." It was a short but effective chant that used the natural energy in the air around them to reinvigorate everyone, restoring health and stamina as the witches maintained their prayer. Aranea and Kim set their charges down to rest in the grass, letting themselves stretch and rest for a few moments.

Gil dared to close his eyes and just bask in the warmth and presence of so many attractive women for just a minute. He counted down the seconds and enjoyed the peace while it lasted. Thankfully, their rest came and went without interruption, enabling everyone to recover thanks to the ritual. Even better, Natasha and the Elven Woman had finally woken up. "Oh damn, why does everything hurt? Wait, I need to find they went!" Natasha tried to fight the on setting daze but staggered against a tree to hold herself up.

"M-my Queen! Queen Alea, I have to warn her about the attack..." The Elven Woman required help from Kim to stand who urged her to take it easy and recover her strength first. Now was the time to get moving however lest they make themselves easy targets....
