Shiori Busujima paces the library in unease, chewing on some candy mints. Here it was, her birthday and of all things the ritual had to be performed before 12 am... and the professional she hired, a man of around her age by the name of August was yet to arrive with the slab she had him search for. "Nia best be right about this... hopefully she didn't trick me or was wrong about the location. I paid a lot for her to part with that map... she's as greedy as cousin Yuko..." She mumbled, eating more candy as she paced. She was wearing her trademark lolita attire, a sleeveless white silk shirt with ruffles and lace, a black suspender dress, pantihose and heels. August was an interesting character, silent, almost emotionless. He's lasted longer than her other hires as a whole, sticking with her for the full week. She would need him again... for the ritual, as the other data she had him collect pointed towards a specific ritual in of itself... but she wasn't sure, still she came prepared by wearing one less item than usual. In worst case... it could be fun!

Still, as the wind blew in from the open windows above, the storm outside letting up... she wondered if August was safe. That nest she sent him was pretty dangerous, but she supposed people like him were meant for such danger, no? She shrugged, and went back to pacing.
