Entrance to the Sealed Shrine Area and Main Path to Shrine

Mai Takatsuji wandered up the path to the sealed shrine...well from cover of course. She wasn't sure if she was allowed to be on the grounds of the shrine in Tangeshima territory without permission, but she was so curious about it she had to see it for herself. Her sister was allowed to do pretty much anything she wanted to, since she was supposed to marry the prince who up and vanished when the emperor, his father, died. Its been five years since then, and some people said he did it... but she doubted that, like her sister. She was hoping to catch Justin along the way, catch him off guard and perhaps force his fire out a little more, as she wanted to learn more of flame magic and base her ninjutsu off it. The shrine was supposedly supposed to help guide one to their elemental potential, and she was curious if she was destined to be with flames... which made her blush as that was her nickname for Justin... the thought of them being beyond rivals was odd... anyway.

She leapt up onto the sectioned off fence, kneeling on the clay tile, and looked across to the path which lead further into the bamboo wood, towards one of the foothills outside the outskirts of Beijio City. She heard rumors of a legendary ninja living somewhere in the Amaine, who was hinted to be a demon... she may check that out after she sates her curiosity.

She then felt something crawling on her arm, looking down she shrieked, before waving her arm and falling off the fence, her curvy body jiggling the way down, her breasts pushing up against her face when she hit the dirt.

"Ugh... stupid... spider..." She groaned, the rear flap of her attire flopped over her head, displacing her high ponytail. She hated those things, and was absolutely scared to death of them! She picked herself up, brushed herself off very quickly and shivered. "Already got goose bumps!" She says, rubbing her arms, unintentionally pushing her breasts together as she did, looking more cold than terrified. She looked around, and realized now... she was on the other side of the fence. She walked over to the door, trying it, and it opened freely. "Well, at least I'm not locked out, then again I could always jump back out of here so if I get into a pickle with security I can... just run away~" Mai giggled, and began to explore the path more.

"What are you doing here, Mai....?" came the annoyed tone of Hatsuho Tangeshima, Hiro's younger sister, who was in a blind spot before she stepped out to meet with the woman. "You're not allowed to be here without permission from my Uncle, you know that?" Hatsu huffed, her arms crossed as she spoke.



Just then... up the hill... the Shrine began to glow with an ominous purple hue....

Hiro appeared as well, close to his uncle's heels. "Hatsu!" He called out, ignoring Mai for the moment, grabbing his sister's shoulders. "Are you okay?! Did you get hurt?" He asked, overly concerned, before hearing the thunderous crack from the shrine above, and felt the massive force begin to build! He grabbed Mai, and his sister, pulling them both close as he applied a talisman, putting up a barrier as the large explosion of golden flame erupted from the pinnacle of the mount!



The barrier faded, and the onmyo talisman burned away with sacred flame, as he stood up, and turned to look up at the shrine. "Uncle..." He glanced back to Hatsuho and Mai. "We need to check on the others, I'm going up there to check on Uncle. So much has happened..." he mumbles, before running up the pathway himself.

Justin appeared from the grove of bamboo, looking dishevelled with the odd leaf or twig sticking from his clothes as he stumbled into Mai as he leapt over the gate and onto the stone path. Mai and Justin locked eyes for a moment, before he turned to Hatsuho and Hiro, his cousins. "Hiro? What the hell is going on?" There were so many questions, but that was the first that came to his mind as the dread continued to build, especially since he noticed a lack of another important pyromancer among them... the one who'd be the first on the scene. Dad... where the hell is he?! Don't tell me...! He already was coming to such conclusions, as he glanced up the hill to the shrine.

You should have been here! For your Father, damn it!!" He screamed, shaking Justin furiously! "Where do you think he is?! If you were here, you'd be in the loop, but everytime your off in the clouds somewhere! If I hadn't arrived, Uncle could have been in a worse state! Now get out of the way, boy, Uncle needs me!" He grunted, shoving Justin aside and began to make haste for the shrine!

Mai turned to the woman who appeared from her side, and grinned at the Shrine Maiden. "Oh, if it ain't little hot-stuff? Hots-or-Hoe?" She taunted, crossing her arms under her buoyant bosom, giving the other woman her heavy lidded gaze of amusement. Shit... got caught. Just act nat- She paused, her head snapping to the shrine. "Is it... supposed to glow purple? With a giant hungry dragon face?!" She gasped-

Fast forwards, huddled close to Hatsu thanks to her hunky older brother, the golden fire vanishing in a mushroom like cloud! "What the heck was that?!" the eighteen year old screamed, before hearing something in the foliage to her right, turning to it and almost kissed Justin who was right up in front of her face! She blinked at the young man who was inches from her face, their eyes locked briefly before she flustered. "Bwaaah! Flames?! Don't scare us like that!" Mai screamed, backing into Hatsu before Hiro got very aggressive towards Justin. She had no idea what was going on, but it seemed like the Patriarch of the Clan, Tesshu, was up in the shrine and needed help! Could be good time for me to check it out finally... She thought, and waited for her chance to rush up the hill herself!

Justin ignored everyone... he could feel something very off. His eyes were fixated on the shrine atop the large, forest heavy hill... the plateau at the top where the small shrine house and where the pillars stood couldn't be seen from this angle. Hiro snapped him out of it, with his anger. Justin gave Hiro a stern look as he spoke to him in such a manner. Upon finishing his statement and shoving him, Justin grabbed Hiro by the kimono and tugged him back. "You wasted all of our time!" was his simple answer, aside from the quick, fiery jab to his cousin's ribs! His fist buried deep into the monk's chest. He'd make an apology later, but while he took the time to chew him out, he could have instead just ran to aid his father up the hill! Justin quickly darted up the stone steps, not stopping for anything. If he was going to be grabbed by anyone, he was going to ignore them, and drag them along with him! You best be alive Old man...! He thought, sweat rolling down the side of his face. He couldn't imagine an explosion taking him out, but... there was a sense of impending dread still looming within him, and it grew with every step he made...

Amid the, shocking scuffle's conclusion, Mai slipped away from the others and followed after Justin... curious to see what exactly transpired here, and get a look at the shrine itself-which she came to see in secret to begin with!

There was a moment, Hiro saw something, terrifying... Justin in pure, concentration. His dark eyes gleamed like a blue dagger's edge, his expression was stern, annoyed but he had focus. He was so caught off guard between this and his cousin's statement, that the punch delivered to his ribs which scorched his monk robes knocked the wind out of him!

"OOOF!" He coughed, doubling over as the younger man advanced the stairwell and vanished in a blur. He winced. "Damn... kid. Punching a Monk like that... he have no shame?" He grunted. Thinking of his actions... Justin was oddly right. He wasted time they did not have, with Uncle Tesshu above potentially in a horrid state, especially with what he had seen within the home...

He couldn't lick his wounded pride and the blackened hole through his robes that showed off part of his taut, muscular frame now. "Hatsu, call this number..." he says, pulling out a card. "The pass code is... 'Hiiten Island', talk to Captain Shintahada... tell him to send a helicopter out here, that Hiro Tangeshima requests it... hurry!" He says, tossing the card to her, before following after the fire ninja and delinquent...
