Zellvyn Valeria's Mountain Hut
Up a worn path past the 'proper entrance' to the Beijio Mountains, was a small hut like cabin set into the foothills, with some sparse foliage and trees set here and about which made the hut look a tad less lonely on its isolated ridge.
Not too far from the home was a shallow ravine path leading to a gazebo like structure that was well like, which was the entrance and tunnel leading into the mountain, where the owner mined her ore.
Wind blew through the open, attic loft area's window, stirring the owner of the home and mine- one Zellvyn Valeria. Standing at roughly 4'3, the sitting half imp-half dwarf shot up with surprise as the scent of the fresh bread she was baking drifted up through the rafters, reminding her she was baking before she decided to fall asleep up in the musty attic where she stored her herbs and put away things for safe keeping, like the old cradle for the child, stolen away from her years ago, when Jasper, her handsome devil of a dwarf, was still alive.
Zell was still in her prime, however. A tanned, buxom blond with long ivory horns, a generously large bosom and toned stomach with a Mako Stone or Bavarium navel ring and earrings. She wore her hair in low quad tails, with bronze and bavarium hair intakes. "Aye, shite, bloody forgot the damn bread!" she yawned, hurriedly lunging up from her seat and made her way down a set of stairs into the adjacent rooms.
The fire was crackling in one of the two fire places she had on site, and she passed through the one kitchen area into the next!
"How could I have forgotten? Bad Zell, bad!" Zell said to herself, the tiny imp making her way around and down another set of stairs, heading into the ground floor where she slept and had had another kitchen she used for herself.
It was a cozy home, with enough ceiling height for the shorter kind, but someone taller than the Shogun or General Barduwulf would find themselves needing to crouch often. She slid on the mits she used for mining to pull out the steaming bread... wincing a little as the heat washed over her. "Ooof hot hot...!" She blew onto the bread... even though it wasn't too hot for her. Being an Imp, and part Dwarf, after all.
She sets the bread out to cool all the while, and she backs up into one of her rocking chairs and sighs. "Why the bloody hells I fell asleep? I swear, Zelly, you're gonna burn up your hut at this rate!" She sighed, glancing over the unlit fireplace where her husband, Jasper, and herself with their small child Nessvyn were portrayed happily in a painting. She smiled... wishing she knew what happened to the little tyke. She and her husband were devastated by the seemingly random kidnapping. Jasper went half mad, and died trying to find her. She gave up looking not too long after Jasp died... But she didn't lose hope that one day she may see her again. Till that time however, the bachelorette miner and craftswoman had a job to do- provide Beijio with its steel and Tamahagane for its weapons and armor.
She figured the bread would have to cool while she was in the mines, glad it didn't burn this time- she grabbed her lantern and her mining clothes:
A shrug which slid over her leather bikini top, her heavy coveralls which she left hanging over her hips, the thick protective boots, her backpack with her fuel injector rods for her 'ammar, and the mining helmet shaped for her head and horns! "Can't go minin' without you, m'dere!" She commented, grabbing the massive, hulking multi-purpose hammer of her own design! Part bellows, part furnace, part pick, part mining sledge- it was useful for gathering serious ore from the mines below, and also a killer weapon in case she came across the 'rabbid goblins' the ones that were more beastly in unintelligent in demeanor; or worse. Things muuuch, much worse!
She left the safety of her home though, grabbing her mining backpack as well and made her way towards the mine entrance for another day in the slough.
