The Free Cities of Hidalgo
A decent stretch of the Gailden Wasteland, specifically the Central Gailden stretch, is home to a series of small cities and villages under the banner of the 'Free Cities of Hidalgo', where the Moccah, the native people of Gailden, reside. They were once enslaved by Iberian Colonists and Conquistadors in the 1400s, but gained their independence after nearly two centuries of being under the Iberian thumb. All the colonies formerly under the Iberian Conquerors were freed and the Moccah civilization took over what was built, evolving to a mix of Iberian and Moccahan culture. Given the harshness of the Gailden Wasteland, only certain crops thrive. Galideno and Iber Cacti, Moccahian Peppers, Moccahan Agave, Moccahian Coffee Beans and Cocoa also are grown and refined here. The popular mixed coffee and hot chocolate drink 'Moca' also originates from this confederation of villages. The Free Cities themselves do not have an organized army, but they have a militia typically formed of adventurers, mercenaries and often times Gunslingers hired from the Gunslinger Association. Ranches, with cattle or horses also give many of these villages a flow of commerce. Be weary however, as most villages have hiked up the price of basic commodities like water to the tired and dehydrated adventurer who underestimates the dry climate of the Gailden Wastes.

Hidalgo
The Capital Citystate of the Free Cities of Hidalgo. A thriving port town that opens to the Scardian Ocean, and the one time port city of 'New Iberia' till the oppressed Mocca Tribes kicked the Iberian Conquistadors out of their land in a bloody revolution. The city, though at a glance unimpressive compared to places like Ithteca, Beijio or even Danton City, is still a thriving town steeped in natural beauty and a mix of Iberian and Moccahian culture.

Lobos
A village further inland and close to Jemial City. A town centered around a fortress once used by the Iberian Conquistadors before the Moccahian people overthrew them. It has a reputation for 'unsavory' individuals, and is a great place to slip away if one is running away from the Gunslinger Association or other enforcers of the law...

Santa Cabeza
Another port city formerly of the Iberian Empire. Further up the coast from Hidalgo, on the coastline leading up to the Ithteca Mountain Chain, this village is another port of entry to Gailden other than Ithteca's Elevator Harbor, Hidalgo, Hara Fishing Village, and Beijio Harbor to name a few. Its a fishing community these days, and provider of supplies to Jemial City 50 miles south of Santa Cabeza.

SOL
The Village of SOL is a relatively new settlement to join the Free Cities of Hidalgo. The village gets its name not for the Iberian name for 'Sun' instead, an acronym made by the founders of the village looking for precious metals. After several years with no name, (and no luck in their mining efforts), they called the name 'S.O.L'- S*** Outta Luck!

Rocky Valley
A small village near the rocky Guardian Mountains. Nothing really to note of this small, desert town other than 'Rocky' the eponymous name of the village taken from its only watering hole. The village grew around this watering hole over time.It was managed by a Dwarf for a time, who tried to evoke the 'Spirits of Rolan', but never profited from the venture. An unknown individual later picked it up instead, offering drinks to wandering adventurers, Gunslingers, bandits, and anyone else unfortunate enough to end up in this part of the arid Gailden Wastes. The Dwarf's unique pumps and technology draws up spring water found deep in the earth, providing the bar in the middle of nowhere an unlimited supply of fresh, clean water that is perfect to sate the thirst on its own or to water down imported beer with little notice...

Hamlet of Voshnir
A small... odd town that is located somewhere between Danton City and Jemial City; located near the edge of the Galideno Desert. Its inhabitants are odd, xenophobic folk and they don't take well to outsiders. The Gunslinger, Leland McKelly, in 2639 discovered the city had been under the influence of a demonic parasite that came from the town's contaminated and tainted water supply which gave off an eerie, purple color and strong odor. Leland cleared out the inhabitants of the town alongside Barduwulf Garamonde, and Izuna Kurogasa. The town was supposedly taken over by the Gunslinger Association afterwards, who investigated its mysterious contagion before Tenik rolled in. However, it seems this ghost town has gotten a second wind... "== TILE TWINKLE!!!" *Chainsaw sounds*

Costa Dos Lunas
A final port city in the Hidalgo Free Cities confederation. Located on the Dos Lunas river that spills into the Scardian Ocean on the southern side of the Guardian Mountain Chain further south and in the low elevation of desert valley that makes up this lonely settlement that is the farthest from the others in the Free Cities. A small, former Iberian trading port that would have lead into the Gailden Prairies before the destruction of Galideno City of which it narrowly survived from. Hugging the canyon walls of Ithteca's Guardian Mountains to its north, and the former time altering cursed desert to its south, Costa Dos Lunas stands as a timeless survivor and its 'between a rock and a hard place' mentality that's been in place since 2289.

Alucphia, The Lamia City of the Deep
This city is only accessible via routes known only to the Desert Lamia Tribes, usually only achieved via burrowing through the sand. Outsiders from other species can only gain entry to this sanctuary via well hidden and guarded caves and tunnels. Incredibly well defended, any invading force attempting to gain entrance will find the guardians of this city more than capable, as they can collapse the tunnels on any intruder, spring ambushes from any angle at any point, at any time. The city itself sits on a convergence of magical leylines that form arteries of the planets lifestream. This font of power is rigorously defended, and access to anybody bar the shaman and exceptional magical adepts of the tribes is forbidden on penalty of death. An underground spring of pure water is also found in abundance here, and much of the city floats upon it's glassy surface. The palace seems to resemble ancient Elvish in architectural design and is used to house all the tribal and clan heads during their stays within the city, but also the home and residence of the current monarch of the desert Lamia tribes. Currently The Desert Golden Cobra, High Queen Orphia, sits the pearl throne of the Desert Lamia.

The Adamantite Prison
A maximum security prison in the depths of the Gailden Wastelands, somewhere between Danton City and Jemial. Barren land surround the prison made of pure Adamantite, and has been in use since Alexander XI Tenik had it constructed for his political rivals as well as some of the worlds worst criminals. The prison is used by the ADN and Gailden branch of the Gunslingers to imprison criminals in modern time.

The Beijio Mountains cover the entirety of the Gailden West Coast, with the smallest of these mountains, being the location of the Imperial Palace of Beijio, in Beijio City. Toph’s Material Surplus, etc
A large building situated in the foothills of the Beijio Mountains, just before the entrance to the Great Beijio Forest. It's a shop run by Toph, managed by Jac Caligo, and occupied by a number of other staff. Their purpose? To supply the crafting world with supplies, both rare and common; refined and raw- you name it, they most likely have it from Jackalope Fangs to leather and hide of monsters and beasts exotic and common. You can even sell materials to them if they are in decent condition, or even ask one of its hunters to hunt for something specific if it's something rare your seeking!

The Deadlands
The Deadlands... harsh sulfur fields found south of the Virgin Sands and close to Goukudo Valley. Hostile terrain, wildlife, and sulfuric water too poisonous to drink. These lands stretch to the edge of the Beijio Desert, before becoming the Frosted Sands. Dragons, Lizardfolk and other man-eating beasts as well as yokai dwell out in these hostile lands somehow... some say there is a canyon that leads into Goukudo Valley from here...
