Darkstorm Zero wrote:Misao Kamiya wrote:Misao gagged on rushing saliva as the beast swallowed, closing her eyes as the warm fluid rushed past her body, coating her head and her arms. She shuttered and cried out, the Hex glowing that putrid green while Misao was tortured by the Queen's antics. Her breasts dragged across the Queen's throat as she swallowed deeply, Misao beat her arms about, clawing at the rippling tunnel of flesh around her, her brown hair clinging to her pale, yellow flesh. She squirmed like a worm, her ankles held by the beast, the knee high leather boots slipping between one another as she squirmed. Bits of Misao's dress hung from the Demoness's teeth, like twisted soaked curtains. Misao cried, terrified as her torment continued by the beast, Misao's former cruelty echoing in her skull, almost as if radiating from the Hex as her greed, envy and wraith spilled out of her in heaps. "STAAHhhp!" she cried. "I can't die yet!! I CANT!"
The demoness kept up this mental and physical assault for several long moments as her throat greedily tried to draw Misao in, while her fingers gleefully held the woman's descent in check. Eventually however, the Hellfire Queen let go of Misao's ankle, and with a final series of swallows, sent the girl on her way down.
The bulge in her muscular neck swelled slightly as it churned and rippled the woman's form down visibly. Once the lump disappeared below the monster's collarbone, the 11 pointed pentagram on her torso lit up a sinister violet glow. Now, the circle was complete, and the demon within Misao's Hex could be born from the corrupted flesh of the Hellfire Queen. The demoness herself smiled and laid back on a pile of long dried out bones, even as the illusion of the limbo began to disappear.
Where they actually were, turned out to be a place far worse than a long dead world...
Misao began to feel exhausted after the Hellfire Queen kept up her antics, her worn body feeling almost as if she was going to be torn in half from the powerful swallows when the Demoness had her fill of fun and finally let go. Misao's broken look blinked with some energy left as she realized her trip downward was back on schedule. "No..." she gasped, exhausted, trying her best to spread her arms out, but the tight throat's muscles squeezed her voluptuous form against the Titaness' neck, Misao's face, breasts, hips, thighs and legs embossed the muscular neck before the wiggling bulge vanished behind the collar bone. Misao's muffled, strained cry went on deaf ears as she slipped into the abyss...
The ribbed esophagus wasn't too dark, as the insistent Nemesis Hex lit up the way with it's green glow. Misao wept as she slid further down into the humid fleshy tube. Her head quickly pressed against a tight knot, the muscles around her forcing her through as she shrieked in pain, the stomach sphincter widening and then, Misao's curvaceous upper frame followed by her wide hips and shapely legs slipped inside. She let out a scream, falling into the somewhat small stomach, her body splashing against bile and acid as the fleshy walls compressed against her. "Ah!!" She screamed, gagging on foul air, spreading her legs and arms, fighting against the vein filled fleshy structures wrapping around her.
Outside, the Hellfire Queen's ripped abdomen had a smooth sphere which wiggled, slightly glowing green and at times, showing off Misao's terrified silhouette....

As the Hellfire Queen patted her belly, the symbol upon it moved to align with the Hex showing through. Once the Rune of Leviathan and the Hex had aligned and synchronized, the Hex began to change once again, even as the Leviathan pentagram began to spin...
The symbols rotated faster, and energy began to build. The pleasure filled face of the Demoness soon turned into a frown, then a grimace of pain, as a new lifeform was being born through the demons flesh.
"This part is always painful." the demon whispered through clenched teeth, but then became a rueful smile. "But we enjoy pain...."

Misao inside the constricting dimly lit belly thrashed about in the echoing, rippling flesh all around her. She kicked out her legs and threw out her arms, slime falling from the ceiling in long strands, dripping down her blouse, her neck and the side of her head. "Gods, please! Let me out!" She cried, the hex glowing allowing her to see the filth which pooled around her waist, her boots toes popping out of the pool's surface ahead of her; her large, slimy breasts bobbing above the fluids as her body was contorted in a fetal position. An outside glow began to filter through the rough flesh of the titanic demon woman, and her body began to tingle with pain. "Haaah!" she shrieked. "What...what are you doing? My...chest feels like its on fire!" She exclaimed, gripping her left breast with her right hand tightly, pedaling her feet from the pain, which also would hopefully aid in her desperate struggles.
Outside, the belly rumbled and bounced due to Misao's frustration.

[From here]
Grimoire's form appeared from the open air like a black fog. The fog, though dark, was sparked by tiny storms of deep blue electrical currents, like a Teronian Shadowblade's method of teleportation. Long legs of a well dressed man stepped from this fog unharmed, the black shoulder cape wavering in the cool dead air while the pauldron remained still on his left shoulder. The ancient revolver hung against his right hip, and his crimson eyes lit up in the darkness.
Where ever he had traveled to, seemed to have died a long... long time ago.
Gurgle...chuuurn...
The sounds of digestion were... telling. Grimoire could see a large shape stooped down, rubbing the light green glowing mass that swelled from her mid-to-lower abdomen. Her abs lost some of their shape thanks to the anomaly obstructing her chest. The mass wiggled and protested, even as the gurgling continued. The demonic symbol which was focused on the area was also compromising.
Grimoire did not see it necessary to give a formal introduction in the traditional sense. He instead drew upon his inner strength, removed the gun from his holster and fired once at the monster's pawing hand which gripped the wiggling mass below the glowing hexes and symbols. The three barreled .454 revolver left three, deep, dark wounds upon the back of the creature's hand. Purposefully superficial to awaken his host from her evening feeding...
He approached, facing opposite of the beast, standing upon the crest of the dunes. The 'sand' shifting with his weight as he wordlessly, lowers his aim upon the vile demonic entity's head; his eyes glowing crimson and wide! His Gunslinger eyes were more piercing than his powerful bullets, focusing on his enemy's large eyes. They were the look of a true slayer of man and beast, demonic or not. A hunter's eyes... a predator's eyes.

The Hellfire Queen's face broke into a smile as she sat back up. The giant titaness merely smirked at the threat the Vampire's little pistol tried to pose.
"Is that all you have? I've fought with Cyberdemons equipped with demon tusk missile launchers. a little bullet is not going to get you anywhere. But I take it you wish to save the woman? How ARE you in here by the way?"

Re: The Mijhen Highway (Alter World)
It had been a long while since she last thrashed out. Was it hours? Days? She couldn't ascertain. Her new 'home' didn't allow for much by way of time keeping, and sleeping was as much a discomfort. Her mind was pretty much broken by the pain her glowing Nemesis Hex caused, her body simply used to it now. Her dress was tattered on the edges, the acids breaking down most of it. She could even see her toes sticking out of the acid logged boots. Bile had claimed most of the leather, and her skin was becoming red. The level had risen some since she last noticed, now up to her breasts in the greenish bile. The walls continued to contort and wiggle around her, noisily attempting to break her body down while simultaneously trying to yank at the Hex; its glowing green light had mixed with the red light, making a distasteful brownish glow upon the surface of the stomach.
Her empty eyes gazed at the wall ahead of her listlessly. So this is what hell feels like. Everyone around me had to suffer this fate, all because of my family. We deserved this for our sins... we deserve worse... Her mind continued to echo, her lips agape as slime trickled past her left ear and dribbled off her chin. The belly continued to gurgle...

Grim remained stoic. "That was only your wake up call..." he says unflinchingly, spinning the revolver in his hand as he approached, unhampered by the bones which had become sand over millennia in this odd world. He didn't answer her question on 'how' for it would not matter divulging the specifics to a creature he was going to outright murder. That, and a proper explanation of how he got his abilities thanks to a certain magic researcher in another dimension would simply take too long. He wasn't in a very 'chatty' mood.
While he spun his revolver, his body seemed to become incorporeal, and he vanished! His leg striking out against the left side of the creature's face! His blow was like a punch made by the aforementioned Cyberdemon! To add a bit of salt to the wound, he purposefully shot another volley into her left ear, like a stinging gnat.
Still upon her shoulder, hunkered down on his knees like a vampiric parrot, he gazed down at the swelling stomach. He seemed compelled by this green glow he witnessed, his thirst seeming to increase upon looking at it. It was as if, all the rage he buried since his transformation resurfaced when he stared at the lime green glow. The crimson pentagram over top spun and seemed to pulse. What are you up to...? Hmm... So there was a girl. I can still sense another presence aside from this creature; I guess she's still alive. I mustn't doddle. He thought, spinning his weapon back into his holster without looking; his eyes focused on the glowing, writhing belly.

The demoness blinked in slight shock at the kick the tiny Vampire planted on her cheek, but she tilted her had slightly when Grim fired his Cerberus at her ear, refracting the .454 rounds off of her black horns.
"Now that was rude..." said the Hellfire Queen, before her eyes flashed, and the ground beneath grim's feet exploded in a mighty eruption of infernal fire and magma that erupted skyward. Meanwhile, the massive clawed hand came own from overhead, hoping to swat the man down into the inferno.

Grimoire lunged up, like the Hellfire Queen had hoped, but as her claw came down, Grim's body became white, clothing and all! The clawed hand phased through him, he lost his shape as it became a swirling acidic mist. The Queen's hand bubbled like the woman's clothing had within her, but it wasn't that serious. The mist reformed above the creature's head, Grim shaping back to his normal form once more. His eyes were glowing garnet, his expression flat as he seemed to glide his way downward; his cape and cloak flowing behind him.
He began to pick up pace quickly however, his body tumbling, spinning intentionally like a disc that had been tossed above one's head, however he was coming down at the blazing intensity of a buzz saw! Glowing like a meteor, he was coming down quick upon the creature's head!

As the Hellfire Queens hand blistered and bubbled for a moment before regenerating, she looked at it, and Grim with her orange eyes, one concealed by a bang of red hair. Even as the Vampire set up his next maneuver.
"Well then..." she uttered, before falling back to the ground, and raising her legs, then she kipped off the sandy surface of the desert of bones. When her enormous hoofs landed back in the sands, it caused a loud tremor to vibrate the entire area, sending dunes toppling down their own slopes. She looked at the rapidly falling Grim with a savage grin on her face, and her large recurved horns ignited with magical flame, before she lauched herself horns first at the decending Grim, a collission of the falling buzzsaw vs the rising horns of the titan.

Grimoire and the titan collided, with a loud bang that sent a shock wave out and across the area of desert they had been in; the bone powder 'sand' blew up and outward with a powerful 'woosh' that continued to spread out from the point of origin. Around that single point, both forces had met with one another, suspended in the air by the vacuum they had created from their respective powers! Grim's heel was still making its way to the female creature's crown, while her horns were still edging their way to goring his body! Their energies kept them from immediately deciding a victor in this contest of power, as Grim's crimson eyes glared down at the large orange gaze which looked up!
In an effort to push his energies further, he increases the pressure on his downward axe kick, fueling this pressure by letting the ashen blood within him boil and break down what he took from Cleo. His appearance shifted somewhat, his veins darkening and his face becoming more feral in appearance; he now had two sets of fangs, a pair beside one another and slightly smaller than the primary fangs! A hiss escaped his mouth, shrill and deep at the same time, like there was a beast lurking behind the facade that was Grimoire Valentine's appearance!

The demoness and the vampire's collission excited the bloodlust within the Hellish creature, and her own sharp toothed savage grin was all the proof of it. Pain was of no consequence next the the near spazmodic thrill of battle.
"Yes... I can see the blood demon within you.... Give me more, Valentine. Give me everything.... Everything you have!" her voice etched up in pitch, like the insanity of bloodlust increased her desire to fight! The mark on her belly, where Misao still writhed in torment pulsated and flashed, the skin there darkened, blackened... and it spread. while the rune itself glowed a vile purple!
"Just a bit more, and a new demon will be spawned, and I will gain ever more power...."

He continued to increase his power, his hair spiking upward and his appearance becoming increasingly darker! "You wish to die? Happy to oblige!" He exclaimed back as the killing intent flowed through his body; anticipation slithered down and nagged at the back of his throat like a good taste. This battle was delicious as he inhaled their fused powers! His aura was becoming a bright blood red color as his pressure increased!
Then, he noticed it, the shifting glow around the belly becoming more erratic, bloating like a wart with a putrid purple glow! He broke his concentration briefly, his body recoiling back some, allowing the Hellfire Queen to gain a momentary edge! He didn't have time to reestablish a new plan and was locked into this contest regardless. He crossed his arms, pushing forward with his mental fortitude and determination, though no longer square with his target, his heel continued to descend as he used up the blood frenzy he obtained from drinking Cleo Arunari's blood! If worse came to worse, he would resort... to something else he hadn't used in nearly 400 years...

The demoness smiled savagely at Grimm's conflicting intentions. His savagery was mixing with his concern for the woman who bore the mark. "You make it sound like you could... foolish little mortal who tries to mantle immortality... Nosferati, Immortui, all just dying words upon the winds of fate. I have lived longer than your species has existed Vampire. I knew the original Nosferatu, children of the demons of blood. And you are unworthy of such a title. Your powers pale compared to theirs, and they are nothing when faced against my people. The Infernum Regium." And with those words, the Demoness clashed her fists on either side of Grimm's body, sandwiching him between her hellfire shrouded knuckles of each fist.
"Arrogance or ignorance, you were not paying attention to my hands boy." came the distainful retort, before she took in a breath, and with a hellish beam, she breathed an energy blast into grim, sending him into the sands as a smouldering afterthought.
"Get up! If you are stronger than the Nosferatu of old, then you will rise and fight again!"

Re: The Mijhen Highway (Alter World)
Grim's eyes widen as he was crushed and simultaneously blown from the fight! A bright beam continued past where she had blasted him, skyward and breaking the atmosphere which removed all clouds with a sudden expansion! The shock waves around them resumed as their combined energy exploded at last, decimating the wasteland where they had been standing prior to their midair standoff!
Grim tumbled for what may have been miles in the dunes; his body smoldering. He lay on his chest, his body shaking. She knew that he held back, and so she took advantage of the situation. He began to slowly rise to his feet, smoldering, his flesh reconstructing where skin had been burned away. His glowing eyes glared at the creature that was still in view.
"You... know nothing..." he says, hunched over. "...of the one who turned me." he continued, Sirius' cape flowing around him, the cape he received from his mortal... or synthetic master. He reached into a space within the fabric, pulling out a long tube that was cold and had a deep crimson fluid within.
He could hear the ancient vampire's words even now...
Blood is key to your hidden powers. However, the willing blood of a loved one is always more potent than that of the stranger. Rare is it in quality, that it can boost your energies almost to my level.... Elven blood is also potent, as the Elven folk are... so connected to the spiritual and material planes...
He closed his eyes... "He was a much... crueler master than any..." he continued, biting off the cork which held the fluid at bay.
Grim... Grim please... don't die!
The sweet voice echoed in his memories, bubbling under his flesh; his blood excited for what it would soon receive. Then the voice of Cain resurfaced, with that demented smile present in his minds eye even now:
But to drink from something so pure is so sinful... there is always a price for power. Tell me Grimoire...
is the power worth the sin?
He tossed back the test tube, his throat gulping the precious, chilled blood greedily. I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together... Iris spoke once more as the last drop of the blood vial dripped down his throat; one of only three samples of her blood he had saved over his long life...
He dropped the vial, a crimson tear flowing down from his eyes that were hidden by tufts of dark hair. His face was blank as the crimson tear flowed over his cheek and rolled around his chin. "Iris... I'm sorry." he says, standing there an open for attack.

When Grimm stood, and made his proclamation, the demoness smiled again, but this time, her eyes turned from blazing orange, to dark violet purple. "I know your species. I know every possible thing you can potentially be. No matter how much blood you consume, no matter how many life forces you have enslaved and destroyed, it will never be enough. You have slain thousands, perhaps even millions of individual beings. But boy, I have absorbed millions of worlds worth of sentient mortal beings. And more besides, I have challenged the might of angels, and taken their power. But come, drink your fallen wife's long dead blood. Blood offered is so much better than blood taken, as is the words of the firstborn Nosfaratu, and lets see of your renewed vigor afterward can challenge my original might..."
With that, the demoness began to call upon a strength untapped since the fall. Unknown to Grimm, this Hellfire Queen was not a standard member of her people, for she lived from a time before Hell... And she retained the original might of her creation, the Flame Imperishable.
The tanned skin started turning from tan to gold. Her eyes and hair turned from their red orange to a bright blue, as did the violet symbol on her stomach!
"Ah.. it has been so many eons since I last tapped this power... It is... Invigorating."

Misao Kamiya wrote:It had been a long while since she last thrashed out.
Misao's body sloshed about in the stomach as the Hex began to leech her life force from her... She could almost see her savior through the veil of flesh... but soon her vision darkened...

The tanned skin started turning from tan to golf. Her eyes and hair turned from their red orange to a bright blue, as did the violet symbol on her stomach!
"Ah.. it has been so many eons since I last tapped this power... It is... Invigorating."
The flow of power boosting this Hellfire Queen's power became twofold with Misao's body succumbing to the stomach, digesting causing her swollen belly to recede fully to that taut, muscular form once more! A fiery belch erupting from the demonic queen's dripping maw as her meal was now nothing more than a bubbling pool of nutrients, bits of flesh, hair and Misao's skeleton which gently embossed the demon's flesh. The years of this Kamiya survivor fueled the Hex which now reappeared on this demoness instead... overlapping the symbols swirling on her chest!
With Misao's suffering climaxed, her body withered and gluttonously devoured, the Hex was satisfied with the death of the last of the Kamiya clan!
Fire burst from the symbol on the Hell Queen's chest, a creature of odd proportions began pulling herself out of the flesh of the demoness, the blue energy of Misao's soul siphoning into this female creature's chest!
"Well well well! Took the silly girl long enough, now I can be free of her flesh~" Cooed the new creature, drawing itself out of the Demoness, her body naked, hair long and flowing crimson. Her naked body however slowly began clothing itself as her chest glowed with a familiar mark... the blue glow of Misao's soul being sucked into the mark!
She dropped down from the Hellfire Queen, her long, pierced tongue flicking the air towards Grimoire. "Mmmm...so you're the yummy thing Misao was curious about... Oh I would have loved your fangs to sink into these tits of her's..." She cooed, playing with her newfound body lewdly, the creature hissing devilishly as her clothes completed repair:
She now stood there, in a dress, her breast bobbing behind the sexy attire. She folded her arms under them, as the last of Misao's soul slurped into the tattoo like mark... like the mark of Misao's Nemesis Hex!
"There...she's settled now. The power between your battles drew me out of that soon to be heap of shit stirring away in this big old slut behind me." Hex crassly explained, thumbing to the giant woman's still gurgling belly. "To be born in such an empty world... boring. Come now, let us go somewhere more... populated?" She cooed, sashaying to the sidelines, the sand made of centuries worth of bones lifted itself into a throne that became obsidian, allowing Hex to watch with her eerie, green glowing eyes.

Your great true form is shaping quietly returning from the universe
I stared forever until my tears withered away to something much worse
I stared forever until my tears withered away to something much worse
"...Shut up." he says, closing his eyes. The Hell Baroness paused and grunted at his blunt remark. "Knowledge over millennia of lifetimes, of a millennia of lives you've taken and the millennia of dark wisdom you've retained... but you've forgotten the most basic and most important of principals..." His clothing began to fleck, chip off like an oil painting. Siriius The Shadow, the War God of Darkness and patron God of the Teronian race, skilled warriors whose conspiracy with the Domescans and internal factors lead to the destruction of Galideno City, the God of War who blessed the man Albert Stratus, Grimoire's commanding officer in the Red 5ive during the Great War of 2282, now stood beside him... smiling as a shade. "...what happens when an injured creature is backed into a corner." Grimoire continues, stepping through Sirius' shadow, causing the God to vanish back into the cape which adorned Grimoire's back as he stepped through him.
He continued to step forwards. "You speak of me as a mere vampire, that you know everything and anything I ever was or ever will be," he says as his flecked away TIRS uniform became the military uniform of Count Despar. "like I am but a single grain in something far greater than I'll ever know," he says lifting his left arm, calling upon the Nuada Airgetlám- the silver arm crafted for the Forerunner King, ally of Despar and enemy of all demons which was forged by a man of shadow not too disimilar to Sirius, upon losing his arm in a great war... With this new arm, it allowed him to resume his leadership and kill monsters with greater ease by simply waving his hand. The hollowed gauntlet fit over Grimoire's left arm and fit into place like a glove, its silvery gleam faded to a dwarven bronze color soon after:
My overflowing sadness does not disappear even though you're not here
I swore that I would not forget I'll make it clear
I swore that I would not forget I'll make it clear
The memories of Iris flowed through him as he took out the second vial... "I am but a mere man," he says as he recalls his mortal life. "a man who challenged his cursed blood, the fate to fall all those who mingle with the Gods, the Valentine's cursed life." He says, his eyes quickly being covered by his bangs, his black hair was growing longer by the micro-second. Like fireflies gathered along the lake that no longer existed in Galideno Territory, the lake where he brought Iris and they first made love under the light of the Silver and Azure moon, orbs gathered around Grimoire's body as a red bandanna is formed from the same lights as they gather about his forehead. The cloth was uniform red, stained with the blood of a long forgotten hero of Galiavan, his blood a blessing and curse; it was indestructible and more reliable than any helmet be it enchanted or otherwise. He brought this second vial to his lips and drank its contents deeply.
"I never wanted to fall in love with a human, before you Grimoire..."
He grits his teeth in a twisted snarl, his fangs having grown exponentially as bloody tears drip down his cheeks and off his chin. "A man who in his folly, let everyone around him fall..." He took out another vial, though it was different. He knocked it back...
"His friends..."
"Grim buddy! I know you're not doing anything after work, lets get some drinks! You got to meet the bar tender, she's super cute!" Charlie Crest spoke jovially in his memories.
"Those who believed in him..." he knocked back the next.
"You know, losing this arm to save that kid... wasn't so bad. Weird saying this, but I think I'm glad its gone if it means she gets to see another day. You know? *tears up resignation papers* I'll stick with the Red 5ive. At least till I see you smile for once, okay, Grim?" Asked Mei Wright.
"People who changed his life..." And another.
"Hm?! You- you didn't see nothing! I always feed these cats! It may not be TIRS work, but who else will feed these strays? I may be brutish, but I am no brute..." Explained the nervous Rrichard Duval.
The vials containing the blood of his long departed friends, gifted to him by Cain fell to the sand made of countless bones in this 'otherworld' as Sabatons materialized over his boots. Segmented plates that lead to a single sharp point, the armor was used by the Ancient Abdel Adham the First, who cleaved the head of a dragon clean off with one swift kick.
Grimoire paused, the howling wind of this non-existent yet real world kicked up dust. Sirius' shadowy cloak hugged his figure like a banner, its tattered, living shape flowing against the wind.
The firefly like orbs flowed around his neck,
"I let them die in vain,"
the various straps and belts flowing down the crimson fabric that was as red as blood,
"I played into the hands of my Immortal 'Father' and became an instrument of his destruction,"
"But to drink from something so pure is so sinful... there is always a price for power. Tell me Grimoire... is the power worth the sin?" Cain's gleaming fangs dripped with such malice while his lips peeled back into a smile of pure sadistic pleasure.
the crimson muffler, tattered by many years of use, faded in places and stained with the blood of Chaos,
"I am a man who traded his soul for an immortal body, at the cost of a million or so lives and the lives which followed after the partial destruction of the Moon Azula,"
the cloak of the First Gunslinger, originally part of the hood of Count Despar, given to him by the King of the Forerunners, which eventually fell into the hands of his grandfather who sacrificed himself to seal a God bent on destroying the world, the small fragment of the Beast which aimed to wipe all life off Galiavan prior to the void, and the demonic horde, manifested around Grimoire's neck and shoulders, turning Sirius' shadows from black to blood red, the wispy smoke now almost liquid in appearance as it flowed off Grimoire's tall, lean body like a proper royal mantle.
"at the cost of a nation,"
The world flickered... taking new shape, as Grimoire began altering the reality around him! The visage of the great city of Galideno, built off the cooperation of Gods, Man, Demon and Forerunner flickered and took shape around them. The grand city which was more 100 cities and villages packed around a central city itself... Galideno City was a literal city-state!
"of the pure land and the creatures both big and small that lived in those fields now turned to sand, I chose to defy my death to save my memories, and the people and creatures I shared those memories with, to put an end to the vile bastards who threatened to take it all away...only to become the ironic tragic character that lives to share the tale of his folly and how he watched it all fall away in his hands..." he says reaching up as he caught some of the bone dust swirling around them in his right hand... letting it slip away. "...like grains of sand to the wind."
The great city burned even brighter now, as he was now standing upon the skeletal remains of a great tower, emblazoned with Tenik's symbol:
Carried by my broken wings I'll keep on flying
Show them everything even Armageddon
One day I'll meet my end but I will keep on trying
Up until the final bell has rung then it's the end
Show them everything even Armageddon
One day I'll meet my end but I will keep on trying
Up until the final bell has rung then it's the end
His face was obscured by shadows save the single glowing ember of his left eye; the fires of the city of his memories burning as real as Misao's skeleton bubbling inside the Baroness' stomach. "Your kind has been victorious in conquest for so long, you've become forgetful, arrogant and foolhardy... you've forgotten what it feels to lose, everything." His voice was deeper, and as the cape flowed around him, the inhumanly cold desert began to feel like an inferno! "Having lost everything but my life and memories... I know more than most that feeling of helplessness. Of becoming a monster wandering the void." He pulled out one more vial with his left hand. "When you have nothing but your memories you get lost in them..." he popped the cork. "Its time for me to stop being nostalgic, of living in the past...since that day, I told myself I would no longer see myself as the 'human' who lost his chance at living, nor would I see myself as the 'monster' cursed to never die. I have given you ample time to consider your actions. The girl is dead now, leaving me with another sin to bear... but you will follow her soon enough, both you and our new 'guest' can have a front row seat as I tear this world apart by my blood and bone..."
Grimoire held his right hand out, a fragment of the Death Penalty weapon which was bequeathed to him when the weapon was whole... no one but a few ever seen these relics up close. The demon would know something was off about it, it was something not of this particular universe! The fires of the great city around them began to draw themselves into, and around the accursed object.
"I am a man. A monster. A curse. A Vampire. I carry the pure essence of this planet's soul in my body and the chaotic darkness of a tragic bloodline destined to fail. You think you know me, and what I will become. You have no idea what I am, or what I am willing to sacrifice to end your miserable lives, even if its the only thing I have left I truly own." The gauntlet clad hand rose upwards to his lips.
I traced the red tears back with my fingers shaking I know that they are mine
My fleeting memories will fall into the darkness all within good time
My fleeting memories will fall into the darkness all within good time
"Grim... I lie awake some nights afraid... as we Elves live such long lives, but you're a mortal... I, I can't see a future without you!" Iris cried in Grimoire's arms. He hugged her close as she cried against his shoulder and the mortal Grimoire D. Valentine smiled. "...if our roles were reversed, I'd hold onto our memories. The memories and the lives we touched. Though I'd be in pain you are no longer in my arms-"
"-Grim!!" Cried Iris as she fell off the collapsing rooftop, the fiery inferno below kissing at her heels, her bloody clothing collecting soot as she held out for her fiance's hand!
"-IRIS!" Grimoire screamed, holding onto the woman for dear life! The Tenik tower was burning away, the skeletal remains of the cannon which blew a hole through Mount Risa, through Adham Abdel and the Onyx City, through the Azure Moon, deflected by a single wing of the corrupted War God back into the tower and caused the city's power reactor to overflow and become unstable! It was all his fault, the Death Penalty was fusing into his good hand, and being a fresh vampire who just went toe-to-toe against a master manipulating Teronian Assassin without a drink to keep him stable...
In the present, his bloody tears began to fleck away from his cheeks... becoming crimson dust floating in the wind.
"-Grim." Iris says calmly now, Grimoire the recently Turned, winks open his strained eyes to feel her lips upon his own... and her blood flowing into his mouth. Her manipulation of water and knowledge of bending blood allowed her to pass enough blood and more to him... but at the cost-
"-we can live on in our memories." Both the mortal Grim and the fading Iris said in unison but in different times. Iris, lavender eyes hazy with the loss of so much blood, smiling with crimson lips... the blade of crystalized blood she used to slit he her own throat stabbed into his arm, forcing him to let go of her. Her final act, to save Grimoire.
I'm...sorry Iris.
Grimoire's body was stock still, as the vial containing the last bit of essence he had of his love falling from his grasp, smashing against the concrete born of his memories given flesh in this seemingly illusionary world. The memories of his friends, comrades... the home he lived in, the nation he served the fields he lazed in and the skies he looked at... fading. His agape lips closed gently, forming a firm line. "With all your eons basking in victories and power you've forgot so much. You have forgotten what it means 'to fear', to be afraid. I will remind you."
He begins his approach, his cape flapping rapidly as a crimson and black gradient like aura began to flow around his shifting body, the world he created starting to be sucked into the relic he held in his right hand... something from the fabric of the void itself began to take shape around the arm...
"...What does a man who had lost everything and had nothing to lose become, when he loses his memories? He's nothing. He is a waste of flesh who becomes the cradle of the Void incarnate, he is an empty shell." Grimoire's eyes flared up, becoming intensely crimson, the whites of his eyes filling with blood before becoming inky black like the void itself! "...an empty shell however allows for limitless potential in spite of the vacant space, he becomes everything and nothing, a paradox!" The world began to crumble, his body still holding onto Iris in spite of his efforts. He saw her on her good days, her bad, her really...really ugly bad hair days, her radiant ones.
"Grim!"
"Grim..."
"Grim!!"
"Grim!"
"Oh Grimm~"
"Grim...!"
"Grimoire..."
Somehow your last smile finds its way into my head then it's gone from my mind
Alone I beg for it instead, I'm left behind
Alone I beg for it instead, I'm left behind
Where Grimoire steps, the ground becomes black as void, and slips away, only to be consumed by the relic in his right hand! He holds onto that last mental image of his love... that smile long enough, before it fades away from his mind. Iris...
I know I cannot be cured by words no longer
I have become deaf thanks to the color red
I will give everything I've got I'll become stronger
Go towards the never-ending battle that's ahead
I have become deaf thanks to the color red
I will give everything I've got I'll become stronger
Go towards the never-ending battle that's ahead
There was no turning back now, this path he chose was to be walked and he had put it off for nearly 400 years. "...I become Galiavan's Avenger... I will become... your...nightMaRE!!"
Grimoire's cape flew back rapidly! His body burning physically from the energy he unleashed from his soul, his treasured memories and was sacrificing it all to become the beast he traded his mortal life and death to become. Instead of running away, of burring his head in regret, and let the sorrow of the past consume him... he was going to use his power, his body's true purpose at long last, and no longer waste it even if it meant taking his own life, his own existence with it... he'll return to the natural chaos within the darkness forged by those before him, and who will come after him. Grimoire D. Valentine the Immortal Gunman channels the Death Penalty's Oblivion Crystal, the weapon's original power device and focusing crystal, and begins to pull the very world they were standing in into the orb.
I know that someday everyone will return back to the universe
Be patient you do not need words to say farewell
Be patient you do not need words to say farewell
The thoughts of those he met in the past few centuries were a quick blur, his slumber taking up most of that time unfortunately. His release from Tenik post Final RAID, his chat with Barduwulf in the Amaine Woods months prior when they called each other's bluff, of aiding mankind the best he could in spite of what he become. He could have done more, but he could have done worse given the unstable nature of his abilities on full blast. Even if I become nothing more than a memory... if I lose my mind to the chaos which lurks ahead, as long as there is someone out there is holding onto hope- it'll be worth it all. He thought, as he brought the orb to his chest, his body beginning to deconstruct, his long dark hair losing its color. There were other flashes of memory, other people he met, other people whom he stored within, other memories...
"...Mom?" A younger Grimoire calls out, pulling up the covers of his bed. The fragments of a nightmare drifting away upon seeing his mother's face. The woman had greying black hair held into a tight and low ponytail, split bangs which drifted over her tired, crimson eyes. She maneuvered her way over to the bed, and gently caressed her child's forehead, humming a lullaby he had long forgotten. "Dad... looked really hurt in my dream mom. Told me to be strong but... I ran away from him! He was all red and his skin was blue and... he was a monster!" He whimpered.
His mother hushed him, and smiled sadly. "Grimoire Despar Valentine... you shouldn't be afraid. Your father, rest his soul... had similar dreams about his father. He said its what happens to those of the primary line of your ancestors-"
"-Dad said we're not supposed to say the middle name out loud...why is that?" Grim interrupted.
She chuckled. "Well, I'm sure its fine. Its just us in the cabin my child." She began. "I am not certain myself... but I was told, that there are some people in the world who would react... aggressively, to the name Despar. People you wouldn't expect." She explained.
"Why?" He inquired, the nightmare drifting away from the curious boy's mind.
Cauldetta Valentine chuckled at his inquisitiveness, but... she seemed to smile wryly. "Some people... are blind. Others simply chose to live in the dark. You, your father, your grandfather and his father, all the way back to the son of Countess Ravena Despar, who took said ancestor of yours to your teacher-er, teacher's ancestor who saved your line from those... who simply don't understand- they perhaps were afraid-" she began, trying very hard to sugar coat the intricacies of a bloody history to a child of six or five.
"-I don't understand... what about me, father, grandpa? Why they scare people? Its not nice being scary to people for no reason. I didn't scare anyone... not that I know of." He says innocently which melts his mother's heart.
She chuckled. "You haven't scared anyone besides me with that fever. You really should sleep, dear." She says rubbing his face.
"I wanna know..." He frowned.
She smiled. "Well... according to your father, your bloodline have a special power..."
"Power...?" He yawned, feeling sleepy... closing...his....ey..e..s....
"....its why your grandfather and father died, but they used that power to save us all... the power to-" his mother's voice faded from memory...
"-CONTAIN THAT WHICH I ABSORB!! GRIMACE VALENTINE, RELEASE THINE SEAL!!" Grimoire screams, his crimson eyes flashing with gold light, his clothing ripping as Galiavan's life force glowed under his flesh, the bluish green glow of the Mako flowing through his veins, that which gave him life eternal and so much more... his pale flesh chipping away as the entire world was now swallowed by the void orb, and into himself as he pushed the orb into his own chest! "PANDORA'S BOX!" Grimoire roars as he is torn apart by the orb along with the Hell Baroness, and the newly awakened Hex as they were drawn into the core and into Grimoire's inner space....!
"This... is my only way... to repent. This... is... my redemption."
The darkness was eternal... but the pair of demons could see each other as clear as day.
There was no immediate sign of Grimoire... but before long, the pair would cast their burning gaze upon the man floating in the darkness.
I know I cannot be cured by words no longer
I have become deaf thanks to the color red

"-ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Came an unplanetary roar from the man's diaphragm, as his limbs quickly elongated, his clothes tearing, his flesh peeling away to a dark grey tone! His fingers, including those protected by the gauntlet now seemingly fused to his left arm became talon like, the remnants of his fingerless glove on his right hand hanging in ribbons- Sirius' cape twisted and tore into a pair of hideous bat-like wings, the cloak had shifted covering the creature's pelvis. His long dark hair was mostly white, silver in appearance now... his face was like the skull of a deer, fused with the face of a bat. His entire mouth filled with fangs, and a pair of large, backward curling horns adorned either side of his head! His highly toned, slender body rippled with the bluish green energies of the healing waters of the fountain of youth and immortality on Mount Risa... the small pond which dried up a few years back; only a handful ever tasted it.
It was visible through the creature's veins, the glowing light rolling through out his body as he hovered there in the darkness...
Blink
Redemption...Redemption
Hex's neck was in his mouth as he stood before the Hell Baroness. The beast Grimoire had become in this dark void simply stared at the Hell Baroness... inquisitively? All the while Hex squirmed as he bit down... harder. Blood of the demon rolling down his throat.... absorbing into his body. His golden irises glowing brighter...!
The Heir of Count Despar had now surfaced, the beast of Cain drew blood of its first victim, the man Grimoire was no longer there. Grim had pulled off the leash, yanked off the training wheels, and had all the time in the world to play with these two now... a part of the creature felt its unleashing was a bit overkill for these two however. It would have rather fought the beast hovering over the land where it was born... the being not too disimilar to itself... that void beast, that dragon of oblivion....
It dropped Hex suddenly, smiling with its bloody, twisted an gnarled teeth! It let out a hyena like series of hissing laughter as it felt like killing these two, then perhaps taking a stroll into the mortal world, devour a few souls and then take the Void Dragon on itself! It made a 'bring it' motion with its gnashing talons the long forked tongue slipping out and lapping at the crimson ichor which stained its grey, mottled flesh...!
