Post  Katsumi Wed Sep 21, 2011 11:12 am

Katsumi was outside today, reaching up and knocking the pine needles off of the roof with a broom. Her blonde tail curled and swayed as she did her work without a care, and she was wondering how her dear husband was fairing out on his long journey to Ithteca on foot. "The very least, he should have chartered a boat," she had said. "But that stubborn mule always did enjoy traveling-I have that Handy fella to blame; he did get him interested in walking rather than using his bike after all those years." she said, turning on cue to the vehicle in question draped with a rain-protecting tarp. She sighed, closing her eyes and shaking her head left to right-holding her head with her left hand while she smiled happily. That was how it had been since Tenik fell from grace...

"Hey Katsumi!" came the voice of a familiar friend. Tifa beamed, and waved at the cat girl. "Where's your hubby? Out venturin' again?" she asked with her hands on her hips and chuckling. She was wearing her guide outfit.

Katsumi turned around, and was in shock and excitement all at once! "O.M.G. TIFA!" she exclaimed, jumping over to her friend and leaping into her arms and squeezing the woman as tightly as possible. "It's so good to see you! AND YES. Bard's out in Ithteca for some mission for the Empress-he's taking his time really; probably hanging around that Handy fellow again." she said with a giggle. "How about you? How have you been?" she asked; still latched on to the voluptuous woman.

"Well...at the moment...your crushing my lungs." She breathed-her breasts being crushed against her chest and the catgirls and her face blushed and turning blue as she had a bead of sweat run down the side of her head. "Easy-easy now..." she replied again, trying to squirm out of Katsumi's grasp.

Katsumi blinked, then let out a little scream of laughter, caressing her face with her own before letting go of the woman. "Sorry about that! Te-hee it's just been so long!" she replied.

Tifa felt air return to her lungs and let out a loud gasp. "I am fine...and yes-been a long time indeed!" she replied, hunched over holding her knees, breathing heavily.

Katsumi looked at her and closed her eyes. She was smiling as happily as can be. "So-where have you been all this time? Some of us actually thought we'd never see you again!" Katsumi said-suddenly pouting and curling her hands as she went into a chibi mode of sorts. Her eyes big and watery.

Tifa looked up, then broke out in laughter. "Nah-I'd punch a hole straight through the veil of the underworld to stay in the land of the living with you guys!" she replied. She stood up and adjusted herself, and grinned. "I've been working as a guide-usually taking me to places with no cell reception for months on end." she replied, turning to the bike. "Is'nt that Bard's?" she asked, raising her eye brows in shock.

Katsumi smirked, raising both her arms and pumped them. "YEAH!! Punch it straight through!" she exclaimed, throwing a punch into the air. She turned to the bike and dropped her arms. "Yeah, he's been walking more than usual-but he loves the spirit of the travel or something like that." she replied back, sticking her tongue out and winking at Tifa.

"Huh...really? I guess he must have been packing the pounds since I last saw him." she said sarcasticly, teasing the notion. "But like I always said-good exercise, a healthy diet, and a little demonic sacrifice is all you need to look young, strong and beautiful!" she exclaimed, again in the light of humor as she brought up her arms and flexed her muscles. She then dropped her arms and started laughing. When that was cleared up, she turned to Katsumi. "Well, I may head up that way soon and see if he's trollin' about-anything you want me to give to him if I run across him? she asked, placing a hand on her left hip.

She giggled-then suddenly was saddened. "Wait-your leaving so soon? Don't you want to catch up inside? I have some coffee in the kitchen!" she exclaimed, flailing and tearing up over the words.

Tifa felt a little nervous at the outburst she saw before her. She closed her eyes and smiled faintly. "The coffee can certainly explain things..." she thought before shrugging a little. "S-sure; but do you have any water instead? Caffeine isn't really in my diet..." she replied, putting up her hands and waving them left to right fast.

She looked at Tifa as though she had died (please excuse the pun Embarassed ), and then took her by the arm and dragged her into the house. "You haven't lived till you tasted my coffee! The War Gods themselves have blessed me with their power!" she said in a rather fanatical way before sneering and snickering.

Tifa, still with her eyes closed and with nervous swet running down the side of her head looked rather unpleased as she half smiled. "Please...dont." she said weakly as she was trapped by the cat girl.

Katsumi let out a bout of laughter that seemed almost maniacal as she forced open the door.

Tifa let out a small wail-her body being pulled into the house. She had never had any caffeine in her life-always told it was bad for her! But it wasn't exactly like she could throw Bre over her shoulder and run!

"Gotta think-something to keep her distracted-anything to keep her from forcing that liquid down my throat!" her mind screamed.

Tifa revved the engine again, and pulled the throttle. She felt a little sense of nostalgia pass her by. Remembering a time Shane had borrowed the bike and had driven her to Renoa. "Shane...heh, this one's for you old friend." she said with a smile and a single tear before she let loose-and rode the bike down the beaten road-soon heading onto the asphault that had been put in place across the Beijio desert three years prior to help ease land travel. She sped down the highway like a bat out of hell-laughing histerically as she did so.

An air raid siren could be heard radiated from the palace walls-warning the city below of incoming danger and to stay inside.

Post  Shin Takemoto Fri Jan 31, 2014 2:01 am

A young man stands before the front porch-his six month journey from the frosty lands of Izhevesk complete. He looks from the tattered papyrus which had the name of the man he was looking for and where to find him. "Garamonde..." he mutters, tucking the paper behind his belt he adjusts his black robes. Dust kicked up his blue haori coat, and his ponytail waved in the wind of that afternoon's light. He clears his throat, straightens his posture and 'manly' walks up to the door, in which he knocks three times. He found it strange that this house was not of the traditional rustic aesthetic like the rest of the Beijionese Houses were on the way into the city, but then again...he noticed the lack of neighbors and the general remoteness of the house in particular, which also made sense due to the man he was seeking was the General of the Beijionese Army, or so he had been told. His non-traditional Ninjato clattered against his thigh, as he then knocks upon the door three more times. He grunted, frowning. Was the Master of the House, the fabled Barduwulf Owaine Garamonde not home? He was certain that this was his place of residency, unless he was cheated out of information--in which he would have to 'punish' a certain Alesman back in Wind Scar Lake Village... but his heart told him this was the right place.

He cleared his throat: "Hello? Is anyone home?" he called out, knocking twice more. "Hello? Master Garamonde?...General Garamonde?......Freyd the Wise?" that last bit he was a little more sarcastic in tone, but he sighed-walking over to a rocking chair upon the porch and took a seat. He placed his arms behind his head and looked up at the ceiling of the porch. "Hmm...perhaps..he's just not in..." he closes his eyes and breathes slowly. It had been a while since he had been in Beijio, and the salty-sandy desert and ocean air was getting to him. Soon, without his knowing, the young man had found himself sleeping upon a strangers porch; his snores were soft yet audible, rocking back in forth in that wooden rocker.
