Mine Shaft 680

Deep in this underground sector, just past the barrier of the flooded in tunnel was a rocky outcrop. Tired from traveling over the ocean, the Hydra slumbers undisturbed. Its four massive heads each taking a spot on the rock with its hulking frame. Their predatory eyes were closed, and the black scales of its body heaved and fell with each loud hissing breath. It would soon wake up and be ready to move on, hungry enough to dine on an entire village...it may just do that.

Zav fell into the depths of the mines, the collapse beneath him was too quick and sudden to avoid nor escape, especially with Olivia in his guts! As he fell into the deep depths of the mountain, he'd hit walls and tumble down sheer cliffs till he hit the bottom some distance below...

The shaft he would find himself in when he awoke would be massive... and stank of reptile. Large sheets of old scales littered the cavernous shaft... and told of something bigger than them living within these tunnels...


Olivia, inside Zav, all the while, got dizzy as her captor's body flailed about and fell into the mines. She found herself losing consciousness again by the time he hit the rocky floor however... she was, for the most part though, fine given the cushioning of flesh, muscle and exoskeleton provided by Zav...

Zav winced, not expecting the fall... still, he was made of sterner stuff, and though rattled, was still in one piece by the time he was at the bottom of the shaft. "Urg..." He grumbled, Olivia almost was forced back up his throat from the dizzying experience, but he kept his meal down and began to look around. "^#%($...? Where...?" He started, before realizing his gun was missing! He looked around for it frantically, pulling away big chunks of rock, throwing them aside! "Shit..." He moaned. He was good without one, but it was a nice present from the Horde! He didn't get to use it that long at all! He was about to give in to his rage... when he felt movement around him. He glanced around... noticing the odd, discarded carapaces... the scales of a mighty beast. "Hrmm... looks like... snake skin..." It was then he heard the hissing from behind. The bug turned his head towards the darkness, his glowing yellow eyes staring at the larger... scaly beast slithering towards him... with multiple heads?! The bug quickly side stepped, which only caused the monster to slither and snap at him! Well... I'm fairly screwed. If I take that thing with only my claws its gonna tear me in half... and I hate when that happens! He thought, and dodged the beasts maw as it came for him. For now... he had to flee! He scurried into a random tunnel, climbing the walls and ceiling as the beast gave chase!
