Benxai's Weapon, Knife, Guns 'n Ammo
Outside, the street was saturated with the aftermath of rain. Wet, stained sidewalks and puddles formed in the passing storm's wake. If not for the flames of war which had graced this place before, the rain could have perhaps been snow. Kiko strides toward the small brick building on this street, her black leather calve high boots splashing water up from her brisk movement towards the shop. She managed to avoid both the storm of war and rain that had passed over the city.
From the outside it looked nasty, disturbing and crude. Brick and huge, stone pillars make up most of the building's outer structure. The windows the dotted the buildings surface was difficult to see through, as the closed windows are barred by vertical and horizontal thin metal beams made of stainless steel, but the dire mood from within can be felt outside.
Regardless, Kiki had been in much worse places, and a small, nagging voice in depth of her mind told her she would grace far worse thresholds and places in her near future. That is, if she wanted to seek an end to this case. To Kiko 'Kiki' Aihara, there was no other option but to go forward, and into the darkness.
As she entered the shop through the heavy, metallic door, she was welcomed by the tinkle of the doorbell and the static of a broken radio. The shop owner is rubbing a rifled shotgun barrel with a cloth, though it's not getting cleaner and makes no effort to acknowledge her presence. It was as horrible inside as it is on the outside. Several walls support the upper floor and the neon torches attached to them. The walls are covered with posters of weapons, A.D.N. and Scardian Foreign Legion recruitment posters(To which Kiko, out of habit groaned and rolled her eyes at as her eyes came across them), rifle and weapon racks with assortments of weaponry she's seen on travelers and in media. The brick walls behind them are covered in a layer of fatty grime.
The shop itself is almost completely abandoned. The few people inside appear to be dangerous in way or another, as one may expect of such a business, but whoever they are, she hoped they'd leave her alone, just like she was leaving them alone.
Kiko did hear rumors about this shop, supposedly it's infamous for something, but for the life of her she couldn't remember what for. Though judging by everything in this place, it must be something horrifyingly illegal.
Kiko, in her appearance, looked incredibly out of place as stated before-with no tattoos or anything that screamed a person who knew about weaponry. She was wearing the uniform of a student, a silken dress shirt who's sleeves were gathered at the elbows, the collar of which popped open, and spread across the fabric of a sweater hoodie vest that was partly zipped down. She also wore a plaid mini skirt of brown and grey coloration knee socks and tall black leather lace up boots. The pervs in the back who tried grabbing a look up her skirt would be disappointed as she wore black spats underneath. She somehow managed to play it cool inside the shop, looking over the merchandise with a wandering eye before attending the glass case counter which held small weapons, like daggers, knives, broad swords and pistols. Her large, obsidian eyes glanced at the weaponry within, looking for a weapon worthy for this next leg of her mission. "If I am to sink myself deeper into the abyss to see the end of my journey through, I best be prepared to defend myself against those that lurk within the abyss." she thought, blinking her long lashes.

Re: Benxai's Weapon, Knife, Guns 'n Ammo
The few customers within the building looked at the young lady with eyes of suspicion or of contempt or lewd thinking. Some whistled or chuckled to themselves, while looking through the weapon racks.
The man behind the counter had light blue, shaggy hair which almost fully covers a fat, time-worn face, a smoldering, crooked and stubby hand rolled cigarette held between his cracked lips in the corner of his mouth. Dead green eyes, set rooted within their sockets glanced up at the youngster now looming over his glass counter, his eyes then drifted back down to the shotgun he was cleaning for presentation. "We don't sell dollies, girl." his deep, throaty voice booming from behind the counter. He then began polishing the stock. "Go home, and stop bothering my customers." he added without looking at her.

Expecting this reaction, Kiko let out a soft chuckle, and grinned at the shop owner. "Oh sir, please don't be so rude. After all I don't seek dolls, but a firearm." she said with a flirty confident tone that was unmistakably Kiko's trademark voice. She was a well spoken young woman, with a hint of a Beijionese accent, but it was hard to catch, and easily overlooked1. She folded her arms under her puffy, large breasts and raised a brow. "I need something that can pack a punch, but easy to use and maintain. It would be beneficial for it to carry a ammunition type that is at least common to find or buy, but I'm not sure what. Do you have any suggestions, sir?" she asked the light blue haired man.

The man raised a brow, pausing momentarily from running the rag across the wooden stock. "You describe nearly half my wares, child." he says continuing with his cleaning. "I don't want your money. I doubt you even have enough for ammunition. Besides, what does a little girl need a gun for anyhow?" he says absently, not bothering to look up at the girl.

She blinked nervously. "Well, er. Yes...I suppose I did." she says with traces of sweat beading her beautiful rounded face, speaking just as anxiously with a slight stupid smile before she frowned, and her eyes became lidded as he told her off. "Hey, look, I've handled weapons before you know. I just don't own any." she says with a hint of irritation and impatience. She shook her head, her black silky hair whipping lightly left and right behind her shoulders, her left hand covering her face, palming it out of the light frustration and shielding her blushing features from exposure. She sighed, moving her lower fingers as she half turned and spoke with her uncovered mouth. "Well, I'm travelling." she spoke low and softly for the others in the back not to acknowledge this fact. Being young, beautiful and carrying money on a journey was not something to advertise to the public, especially in such a cesspool.
"I have the money, so no need to worry about that." she added, still keeping her hand across her eyes.

Re: Benxai's Weapon, Knife, Guns 'n Ammo
The man behind the counter sighed, still not looking at the young woman as he began checking the barrels of the side-by-side shotgun; though he did this prior to cleaning the gun he did it again out of his own frustration with this girl. "Hrmph... you look a little prissy to be a gunman." he says raising the weapon, and continued to check it over. "The A.D.N. Patrol the roads throughout most of the world girl, why not rely on them?" He says, sliding his glasses from his forehead to his nose, checking the barrels with a keen eye for a third or fourth time, wishing this 'joke' just end already.

Re: Benxai's Weapon, Knife, Guns 'n Ammo
Her fingers peeled away from her eyes, which became narrow and their onyx irises becoming pin pricks. Her black brows pushed together, her corner right of her left eye twitched, the eyelashes fluttering as she grunted with much disdain. She turned to him, slamming the hand which covered her face against the glass surface with a resonating smack. The surface of her left hand felt stunned from the slap against the counter, but she ignored it as she explained her discomfort: "I don't need to put my faith into the Allied Defense Network if I can fend for myself, and I'd rather spend a night in a monster's belly than relying on the help of the A.D.N. or any soldiers for that matter!" She exclaimed, blushing slightly, biting her lower lip. Her body quivered, and her right hand was balled into a rattling fist which shook as she breathed heavily. Her breasts rising and falling behind the sweater hoodie vest, the zipper gleaming in the low light.

The man flinched from the woman's random outburst, nearly snipping his fingers with the double barrels as it snapped back into place. He grunted, turning his lidded eyes upon the young woman with irritation. He looked her over once more, and shook his head. "How much?" he grunted at last, rubbing his prints away from the shotguns barrel, making it gleam in the light.

She blinked, her anger flushed away for a moment and her mind lapsed as she looked upon the man with confused blinking eyes; her lashes fluttering as she did. "Pardon..?" she asked, her tone seeming slightly anxious and confused. In her moments in blind anger she forgotten what she was even talking about. "I was talking about monsters bellies and A.D.N...." she thought, trying to spark what she was doing again.

The man's eyes clenched and his grip tightened on the shotgun. Anger veins protruding from his forehead as he grunted frustratedly. "Stupid girl!" He sets the shotgun down briskly upon the glass surface of the counter, the thick glass absorbing the shock without smashing, spider webbing or cracking it as he supported his weight against it and stood up from his wooden rolling chair. Now, standing at 6', with a slouching posture and a beer belly protruding from the green shirt he wore with the blue flack jacket curved around it as well. He eyed the woman, his lenses glinting as he grumpily restates his question to her.
"How much you spending? And do what kind of firearm are you looking for? Handgun, rifle, shotgun, assault rifle? Are you hard of hearing girl, or do you enjoy wasting my time?!" he exclaimed.

She recoiled slightly, backing up as the man accosted her. Her plush lips became a thin line and her lidded gaze stared at the man with a mix of conviction and fear. "S-sorry..." she stuttered, blinking rapidly and blushed lightly in her face. She caressed her cheek with her left hand and curled her right elbow around her torso, under her oversized breasts, slightly turned away from him, looking to her right. "Well, I can part with one-thousand nine hundred. A handgun would suffice. Something small and easy to use, to perform maintenance on and keep on me without being too much of a pain to carry." she replies.

"Well, I can part with one-thousand nine hundred. A handgun would suffice. Something small and easy to use, to perform maintenance on and keep on me without being too much of a pain to carry." she replies.
He raised a brow. "For that price, huh?" he says back stepping, half turning to various drawers behind him. "A handgun, huh? Something easy to use and carry..." he adds, turning fully to the cabinet and began to rifle (ooc: pardon the pun XD) through them. He soon pulled out a few handguns:
"This is the Amestrian Special. A unique .45 caliber handgun. Not much of a barrel, but this small semi-automatic handgun is cheaper than our Quicksilver .45 handguns. The lack of a trigger guard may reduce safety, but allows for quicker access to the trigger. It's dominant market is mostly in the Northern Ice Caps and the local areas around Windscar Lake village. It's 500 Gilex." He said placing the small gun on the counter:
He then pulled out a second firearm, placing it upon the counter beside it:
"Speaking of Quicksilver, this is a Quicksilver Tactical .45. Again, a fourty-five handgun, it's a tactical handgun developed by Quicksilver Industries. It comes standard with a 9 round magazine, but can be easily customized with a 15 round mag like other Quicksilvers. The ability to be a suppressed handgun is also optional if one can be found and equipped, so there's that too. This one is 900 Gilex."
He then went back to the shelves and pulled out another, setting it along with the others:
"A Beijionese Type 45, a custom variant of the Beijionese Mausers. This variant, made in 2645, is a shorter barreled, forty-five caliber semi-automatic to full automatic top loading handgun. It has a distinct way of firing that when used correctly in full auto mode, fire in a horizontal jump that can clear a room or cluster of enemies dubbed 'Bandit shooting'. Only holds about 7 rounds, but I could get you a 10 round extended magazine cartridge for extra Gilex. 590 Gilex standard, 750 for an extended mag version."
He placed the somewhat alien looking weapon above the other two, making it stand out:
He then pulled out another Quicksilver handgun, setting it beside the Type 45.
"This one isn't fourty-five caliber, but thirty eight special. Its a Quicksilver 38, an inexpensive handgun from Quicksilver Firearms. It holds eight rounds of .38 ammunition. Has modest stopping power and its lightweight and easily hidden. Prefered by Arcanda's Gang back in the day when they were more of a threat, but its also for those who want a cheap but effective handgun. It's only about 350 Gilex."
He then knelt down, opening the glass case and grabbed a large revolver, placing it on the counter.
"Crest "Broken Wing" .357 Double Action Revolver. A hunting six-shooter with a stainless frame and a five inch barrel. Tuned for precision and optimized for power and accuracy, it is a magnum specifically designed for hunters who want to be sure their shots hit their marks. It's a bit lighter than the Icarus variant due to it's long ten inch barrel being reduced by half, but its because of this feature that the accuracy is somewhat reduced. To slightly compensate for the loss in weight, a weight has been added to the grip to help balance the weapon, but the weapon is now more easily concealable than it's mother variant. This one is 1000 Gilex, and can chamber six three-fifty-seven and thirty-eight caliber cartridges, girl."
He then, finally, turned to a weapon he hadn't put on display yet. "Oh yeah, there is also this one. It's new on the market, but my sources in Domescadia and Scardia tell me it's becoming quite a popular handgun." he says turning his back to her as he took one of the models out of the crate. He takes the weapon and sets it down before the girl, removing his hand to reveal the handgun:
"They call it a GG67. The design has become popular due to its frame, it can fire three round bursts or in single semi-automatic shots by a flick of a switch right here *flicks the switch a couple times*. It fires a .357 SIG round. Its recoil is stable, you can't really tell the difference between the fourty-five and the SIG, but the SIG really has great stopping power and accuracy. Not only that, this weapon comes standard with a 20 round magazine. Though, its 1500 Gilex, it's a wallet burner, 'mam." He finished, sitting back folding his arms across his chest. "These are what I got in stock for that price, if you still want cash for ammunition and magazines."

She looked over the weapons, slightly nervous by how similar and different each one looked like. She wasn't lying when she said she was familiar with guns, but she only ever worked with her father's semi-auto handgun. She believed that one was in .44 caliber, it kicked in her hands when she fired that one when she was younger. Still though, there was a big reason why she couldn't take her father's gun, and it also tied in with her case. She held up the Type 45, finding the weapon curious and grunting at the weight and checking the weapon thoroughly before setting it gently back down. She turned her head to the revolver and held it with a slight gasp. "It's heavy..." she says, setting it back down. It wouldn't work, a revolver in her mind was both too heavy and it required a bit of skill reloading, though it was an ideal 'Detective's' weapon. She then turned to the new weapon, the GG67 and held it. Her eyes widened slightly. "It's... surprisingly light for a gun that can do so much..." she stated, checking it out. She checked the empty magazine for it and slid it inside with little change. "It also fires three bullets at once too?" she says, inspecting the weapon without gripping the pistol grip, looking down the sights by bringing it up to her right eye, closing her left while doing so.

Re: Benxai's Weapon, Knife, Guns 'n Ammo
"Its made of hard plastic and synthetic materials, so it's going to be lightweight and easy to carry. Yeah, the select fire switch is right there." he says, pointing to it. He looks from the weapon to her and sighed again. "Well you seem to be interested in the GG67, if you want that I can throw in 500 rounds of ammunition for another 200 Gilex extra, I'll also include 25 extra magazines for free as well." he says.

"Well that would be mighty generous of you, considering what's happened." she says setting the weapon back onto the counter. "I'll take it." she says yanking out one 1000 Gilex Bill, one 500 Gilex Bill, and two 100 Gilex Bills, the coins in her wallet jingling a little while pulling them from the wallet's lips. She handed them over, confidently smiling.

He merely grunted, taking the bills and checked them over, before slipping them into his register. He later produced the young woman with her goods inside a plastic bag as well as the weapon, but as she reached for the gun, he put his hand over it. "So, where about are you travelling girl?" he asked, the stubby cigarette still smouldering in the corner of his lips.

They may have what your looking for their in the City Archives... just look up DarkSEED Soldiers of Unit 431, Company L. The tattoo you're describing is only worn by that particular unit, the four-thirty-first. They were stationed in Danton if I recall... But I'd say that was before the Final Raid. I heard the company was wiped out by the Pro-Fallensky and CKB in '39. Hmm...I s'pose there may have been survivors if you could accurately describe that...damned tattoo, child." he says before shaking his head. "I've seen the tattoo before, but not the man for whom you describe, girl. Now be off with ya, unless you want to spend more of your Gilex." he says before grabbing his shotgun again, taking his seat and continued polishing and cleaning the weapon.

She raised a brow, still humming. "Well, if I head in that direction..." she says, sliding the coin off the surface and held it up. It felt strange in her hands, but she glanced from it to the man behind the counter with a raised brow. "...I'll look out for this 'Frankie', thanks." she then slid the coin into her wallet and turned to head out the exit. Before she was about to head out, she paused, turning back to face the man once more. "Oh, by the way, you wouldn't know a man by the name of Edward Stillslayer? He's got fair pale skin, dark hair, red eyes, you know," she says pointing to her eyes as she mentioned them. "they were almost vampire like. He's about your height, kinda built like a tank." she said lowering her fingers. She wasn't referring to a vampire however, as Edward Stillslayer was not a vampire, nor a demon... at least, he wasn't before he went missing. He always had those red eyes, and such a trait isn't too hard to forget. "He also has a tattoo of sword through a winged skull, on his left bicep, does...any of that sound familiar?" she asked, blinking with a smile.
The man grunted at hearing the name and description. "No. I've never heard of any such name. Perhaps you should head westward, to the Old Capital, Danton.
Kiko eyed the man carefully. She could tell he may know more than he lead on about DarkSEED, but she felt he genuinely did not hear of Edward Stillslayer. Still he was a valuable resource and lead, but she highly doubted he would be the kind to hand over info for free. "Well then, I shall take my leave then. Thanks again good sir for your service." she says, bowing to him in a traditional Beijionese way, her breasts bobbing and hung before and after she stood up, turned and then headed back to the damp streets. The metal door clanged behind her, and she heard the bell clang again. Smiling, but still not too satisfied with her results, figured she'd visit one of the pubs till she would make headway to Jemial City at the other side of the rather vast Ithteca Mountain Chain and the valley or Gorge that was cut between Ithteca and the chain.

"So seventeen hundred then, ammunition and mags included huh?" She raised a brow, with a half smile as she turned her eyes to the man behind the counter.
She grabbed the bag of ammunition and was about to take the gun when the man slid it back towards him. She glanced up, lips slightly agape and her brows lowered against her semi-annoyed lidded eyes. "Heh, wouldn't you like to know." she says in a semi-humorous tone. She held out her hand, palm up for the weapon. "No offense, but we are done here sir. May I have my gun now?"
His face remains unchanging, the other guys in the shop slowly turning their eyes towards them before he handed the weapon over, placing it in her silky smooth hand. "Huh." he grunts, stepping back, removing a coin from the register and handed it to her. It was a token of sorts, with a depiction of a claw and a scythe on the other side. "If you are heading West, into Jemial, there's a guy by the name of Frankie who owns a bus service. Give this to him, and he'll deliver you as far as Beijio with no questions asked." he says with a sigh.
She looked at the man with a layer of suspicion and then smiled. "Hm." she hummed, the fox like look she had remaining as she accepted the weapon in hand and slid it into her messenger bag. "Oh? Why the change of heart? You were so adamant on me leaving before, why help a 'stupid girl' like me all of a sudden?" she asked, a brow raised upon her clever face. "I can't help but say you are acting suspicious~" she teased in a light, singsong voice.

After a full minute or two after the young girl left, the man behind the counter paused and set the gun onto the counter once more, promising himself he'd clean up after he made the call. He walks up to the register, opening it and pulled up the money tray within, revealing a small black mobile phone looking device. It was something that Shadowlaw had given him, state of the art, too. No one could tap into this thing, not for the next 50 years likely, unless they were a genius hacker or something like that.
He pressed the first button on the device for a contact registered to the device's speed dial. Raising it to his ear, while the other 'customers' in the shop began crowding around the counter. Their dead, almost soulless eyes staring at the shop keeper, whos dead green eyes blankly stare into the notches of wood in the crate before him, paying the others no mind. Suddenly, someone on the other end received the call, but didn't answer. "We have stared into the Abyss, and accepted it's darkness." he spoke, cryptically before clearing his voice and then added: "This is Dinkle. Benxai's Weapon Store. I may have found a new subject for us. Pretty little thing to be sure. Bought one of them new GG67's. From looks of it, travelling alone. I gave her a transmitter disguised as a bus token. You could ambush her heading to Jemial or have Frankie down their pick her up for us. She's tall for one of them slanted eyed people from that back woods. Rather curvy too. Long dark hair and a pretty face. Though, I can tell she's got smarts and brawn, so she may be hard to grab. Perhaps we should have Big Smile Jim collect her for us. He's better at these things. Unlike one of the grunts, he may just be able to take her in without a fuss. Still though, I say she's adaptable one. We could make her one of them zombies, or we could use her to garner profits for the organization. I don't know which is worse. Scoop out a portion of her brain, or subject her to the abyss and break her mentally to the point of being jelly. I don't decide the fates of the victims, but still... something odd about this one. She seems familiar. Oh yeah, she also asked if we had seen some DarkSEED soldier from the 431st. I told her to look it up in Danton City's Archives, if she manages to get past Frankie or lose the transmitter. We have all the time in the world to pick this one up if you or Jim is interested." he paused, listening intently for affirmation of the data he passed on to his superiors.

After a few tense moments a reply came from a cold, dead voice. "Target details affirmed. Big Smile Jim is engaged in other affairs in the Cretu 4582 route. Oversight and the Senior partners have dispatched their own retrieval unit instead. This one matches a description for a level 2 conversion target instead of a level 1. Confirm tracker number and frequency."
Throughout the transmission, Dinkle could hear a strange sound in the deep background, like white noise, or the sounds of the dead and dying echoing through long corridors and immense halls.
