Brief info: The Scardian Foreign Legion was a renegade group of ex-Scardian and foreign nationals who formed a 'militarized faction' that was 'allied' with Scardia in the early 2630's. They performed various acts of sabotage and guerilla style combat against DarkSEED and Tenik Soldiers, claiming everything they uphold to bring 'honour to Scardia'. At first, Scardia publicly didn't want to be associated with these rebels, seeing as they were a band of miscreants who were poking the giant bear that was Tenik Inc. The SFL tried desperately to become a division of the Scardian Military which openly refused them, but since they acted outside standard military procedure, there were some tasks given to them by the Scardian King himself. They helped support resistance groups and absorbed others who needed their aid in the fight against tyranny of Tenik Incorporated. During the FINAL RAID, the SFL fought alongside their military cousin's at long last, acting as an advanced recon group and specialized forces against the Crimson Knight Brigade.

In 2640, the ADN was formed, which absorbed the entire Scardian Military as signed by the treaty. However, since the SFL was never an official division of the Scardian Military, they were exempt. They now act as both the 'National' Military to help defend the Scardian Borders alongside the ADN, as well as maintain their original purpose to 'oppose victory' and remain a 'loyal service' to the nation of Scardia.

Uniforms (Uniform Description)

Uniforms in the Scardian Foreign Legion's history have always been a derivative of the Scardian Military Dress. Since it's inauguration, the SFL's uniforms consist of either outdated Scardian Military Dress Uniforms or battle fatigues. The Legion started out as a rebel group remember, so new and highly tactical uniforms were not readily available. But they signified themselves with the color blue, which is the color best representative of the nation of Scardia.

-Description of uniform:

The Uniforms of members of the SFL usually are dark blue in color, no matter the division. Navy Blue military uniforms (or dark grey), with optional light grey accents. Beret's are handed to each member and there are also Peaked caps for officers. There is leniency to soldiers with their uniform designs, as long as the coloration above remains true. Sometimes red accents with the Navy Blue are acceptable as well.

Ranks and Divisions: Ranks change as your character posts often and/or when your superiors notice exceptional acts placed on you. This also includes Admin's of the site.

There are three divisions in the SFL:

-King's Naval Division (Scardia was best known for it's navy and it's warriors, and this division is based upon sea and island combat),
-Air Service Division (For those who fight in Aircraft or Airships),
-and the Artillery Land and Infantry Branch (for those who are deployed on the ground or are part of the famous Artillery Squadron).

There are 13 ranks in each division, and almost everyone starts at the lowest rank (unless specified of course), so keep that in mind:

An officer long coat decorated with gold embroidery and gold aiguillettes with double braided cord on the left shoulder and gold silk cuffs. He wears a sword belt around his waist with a gold chain hanging off his left hip and a second brown cord around his right thigh. He has a fanny holster for a Beijionese Type 45 and a scabbard for his sword. He has a red ribbon for his ponytail.

History:

He is the son of the late Lord Miksaran Dragonwind, the Lord of Mythgarde province and the leader of Mythgarde, Scardia. The family has been loyal allies to the Royal Family of Scardia for countless generations, supposedly as far back as the founding of the country, though they are also rivals to that of Kilwood Village, albeit friendly, the Greywatch's and the Dragonwind families have come to blows in the past due to this rivalry. Since his father's death, Lord Rafe is the head of estate and leader of Mythgarde, though the young man has been working inside the military as a soldier and officer of the SFL, and is currently an Air Marshal of the Air Service Division. Though he hasn't attended to his lands in a long while, he was always well liked by the people of Mythgarde, though other's who've met him personally have had mixed views. He is a flirtatious man, who draws himself upon things he considers beautiful, and is by all means, a perverted lecher. Despite his debauched airs, he is a good willed individual and means well.
