Mouth of the gorge
The Ithteca Mountain Chain has few noticable chinks in their impregnable peaks, one was the entrance to the deep narrow gorge that cut a swath through the mountains like a deep scar in the very bones of the ground. This chink now was an open wound thanks to the widening effect of the energy blast Edgar Holden used to destroy the Spire nestled deep within the ravine. The much widened channel between the mountains was now glassy smooth and circular where the beam had blasted through.
The driver of the supply truck Tifa had hitched with pulled over at the mouth of the now circular valley. The driver got out, and had removed his hat while scratching his head with the other hand. "That is not normal... Not even the anti Sephiroth cannon shot or the Pericles beam is that damn big." said the man in awe and perhaps more than a little fear.

Tifa herself was in awe, her rucksack in hand as she stood beside the driver. "I was expecting destruction... but nothing on this level..." she gulped, noticing the faces of the soldier as well as the other young men in the unit. She frowned, then remembered her bag. While they all were concentrating on the destruction, with fear building within, she was going to stand out and make herself the hero again. She got behind a large boulder, removing her leather outfit after pulling out her other outfit. Removing the leather skirt in favor of the other as well as the spats, she felt a strange sense... of unease. Like she was being watched. She looked about, but didn't see any of the soldiers nearby. Shrugging it off for the moment, she slipped off her top, letting her breasts bounce freely before slipping on the tighter white blouse conforming her dangerous duo.
Finished, she slips the straps back into place, but feels... unease. She turned her head, her eyes wide at the valley below. She thought she'd seen movement... She shook her head, and with everything set, returned to the group. "Sure, that is a big trench," she said, returning to the soldiers, her breasts bobbing behind her tank. She paused, smiling with slight blush to her face as she pumped her arms: "But we'll climb over it! We have the finest technology available to us, and we will find away around it!"
She then turned to the driver, and smiled. "We've got reports that there are some injured folk ahead of us, who need us. On the bright side, what ever made this trench allowed us to have a smoother ride. No hills or terrain or blocked paths!" she exclaimed, trying to sound as up beat as she could.

Re: Mouth of the gorge
Several of the little monsters that were sent out to scout the mountain chain had returned to the side of their tower and the surrounding valley.
The Shoggoth chittered to eachother. "The tower has been destroyed-destroyed. Report back to the fleet and the other towers-towers. Sa'jis'thiless is either missing... or dead-dead."
The shadow of the young Overlord came over the chittering Shoggoth.
"I am here. I was out inspecting the ground during Edgar's attack. The Battlelord is dead and the Spire vapourised.... by Edgar."
The revelation sent the Mantis Demons into a chittering tirade, sparked by fear of the half mortal Fallen. but the Overlord hissed at them to silence them. "We are not cowards. We must rejoin the fleet in orbit, then we can petition Sa'jiz'thileen to commit to an orbital bombardment."

Tifa smiled, noticing a slight change in morale from the soldiers. They were still rather weary, but they had not lost hope, which was a good thing. They rejoined the vehicles, but a few remained outside, Tifa included, as they progressed through the valley, acting as both escorts and engineers, to lay down planks over fissures so that the trucks could get across without getting stuck. It was slow, and it secretly made Tifa a bit nervous. "Lets be careful, keep a look out for any crevices or ditches. We don't want the earth to swallow us up now, but we should be fine if we're alert!" she called out, her eyes looking to the sides of the newly formed 'peaks'. She was still in awe of the damage here, and was unsure what could have made this. Was it man made? Or... could someone, or something be capable of actually causing such a destructive beam? Was this truly the power of one entity? She thought of Edgar, and if the Stranger was correct, he really was a force of nature to be reckoned with. Still, she trusted in the Stranger's words.
Which reiterated the case at hand... he warned her to be careful. She felt naked in this open terrain, but there was no other choice but to cross through here if they wished to make it in time. She had to keep herself prepared for an ambush, and by telling the soldiers to be weary of the elements around them, she hoped they too would stand a fighting chance.

Re: Mouth of the gorge
The troops all were in silent agreement with the War Hero's words, keeping an eye out as they progressed through the hallowed out stretch of land, a new gorge in and of itself. One of the soldiers who had been too worried about falling into a ditch kept looking down, and then accidentally bumped into Tifa's back. "AH!" He cried out, causing the others to pause as he stumbled back. He froze there, everyone looking at him, and he chuckled nervously. "S-sorry. Heh, false alarm." he said with an embarrassed tone.

"Now, we have a crash site full of humans closer to where the tower was. However...." The beasts great head looked down the valley towards the open sea. "I sense we have some new arrivals. Including a very HVT." The beasts great yellow eyes zeroes into the small group. Tifa Lockheart was at the front of the group. The war hero looked scrumptious to him. She was flanked however by jumpsuit wearing service engineers and military techs.
"New arrivals smaller in number-number. Perhaps they could be dealt with easier as we depart for the Asrond Spire-Spire?" asked one of the Shoggoth.
"Indeed, but leave the female to me. She is a war hero and veteran, and may prove too much for you to handle." said the young Overlord. As the beast stealthily moved along the engravings left in the mountainsides (A rare feat for a being his size), the Shoggoth all cloaked themselves, preparing to ambush the engineers.

Tifa turned, parting her hair over her ear as she faced the cadet.
"There something the matter?" she had asked, in soothing tone, smiling softly.
She knew these boys were still somewhat green, save for their commander in the vehicle ahead, so she tried to be somewhat compassionate as to not wear them out any further. As it was she could feel that sensation of being watched again. She blinked, turning towards the rock faces towards the right of her as she still faced the soldier. She thought for a moment, she saw something move... She felt that unease, an unease she hadn't felt in eighteen years. Like her body, the sense of dread was almost unchanged as well. "Keep alert!" she exclaimed, almost randomly. "We do not want any further delays, and keep an eye out for survivors. Some may be trying to wander away from the crash site!" she explained, which now gave the group a means to look out for anything that moved without destroying their already fragile morale. She'd tell them to be ready to look for the one who caused this valley, but then she'd have trigger happy soldiers shooting at everything that moved.

The cadet, upon turning red in the face from such a spectacular view stood erect, quickly moving forward to keep the woman from noticing what else was erect. "Uhm, nothing 'Mam! Just, moving along yup!" Said the squeaky teen, blushing red as a cherry as he marched on forth ahead of the group. The others, did as Tifa ordered them to. They looked about, looking for possible shapes or shadows across the canyon walls for any straggling survivors.

The demonspawn got within striking range, and the Overlord's launchers were twitchy.
He didn't want to splatter the victims with his missiles, Ho no. He needed them alive, and intact. Instead, he aimed the missiles in a shallow arch, and altered the warheads for smoke and mist. Disorientation warheads. The demons would eb able to see clearly through the effect. Human senses, much less so.
He fired a short stream of about 4 missiles from each launcher into the air. As the projectiles arched up and over before spiralling towards the incoming group, they broke open, detaching several cannisters. Each cannister burst with a loud flashbang and dispersed into a thick smokey fog that covered the ground in a pea soup mist laced with demonic insect like black buzzing objects. This was meant to confuse and disorient, while the Shoggoth began to teleport among the workers, and begin their hunt. Meanwhile, under the cover of the disorienting mist, the Overlord stood, ratcheting it's launchers back into place, wile it's belly guns rattled as it walked toward the group.

"Huh?!" Tifa, hearing something behind them soar in the air. She turned, just as they exploded in the air, making out small canisters which now fell towards them! "Take cove-" before she could finish her words, they exploded with a loud bang than made her ears ring, and they dispersed rather foul looking gas. She backed up, crossing her arms over her mouth and nose as the cloud seemed to drift around them. The soldiers began to lose their cool quickly, and she could hear coughing among the buzzing cloud. Black, buzzing objects floated among the cloud, and Tifa didn't want any of that in her lungs. She backed up, coughing herself, her reddish brown eyes lidded, narrowing through the veil of smoke for her comrades. That boy who had stumbled into her had been only a few feet ahead of her before, but now she could hardly see her hand in front of her face. The gas made her eyes water and it was getting thicker by the second!
"Stick together! Don't spread out!" She exclaimed between coughs. All the while, she though she could hear something metallic rattling in the cloud to her right getting closer. The ground shook slightly too, so it was big, what ever it was, but... it felt like large foot steps than anything mechanical in nature!

"What the hell?!" "I cant see a damn thing!" "Ahh!!" "Stay calm, keep your weapons at the ready!"
The pea green smoke seemed to be buzzing with activity, some of the soldiers could swear they could feel something brush by them. "What the hell?! Everyone form up, form up!!" exclaimed their commander, poking his head from the window of the truck. The teen who had marched ahead could hardly see anything in front of him, having got turned around in the fog. "Where is everybody? Jhaar? Achmir? Tymbi, Logaf, Dagrich? Hacon? Sebastian?" He cried out members of the unit. "Ms. Tifa-aahhMMPH!" The nineteen year old tripped, causing someone to fall with him, but his face landed somewhere soft, and pliable to the touch. He felt the twin valleys swallow his head, and he knew then: He found Tifa...
"Mmmphh...." came his muffled voice, his head smothered between the huge, squishy, and jiggly breasts. He yanked his head up, forcing himself to leave their comfort and warmth and pleasant scent. He rose himself, and he bet if she could see him, she'd see how pink his face was. "M-mam! S-sorry!" He exclaimed, nervously. She looked about the same age as his girlfriend, despite her supposed age, so there were many things awkward going on at this moment. "What's happening?! Whose attacking us?!" he asked.

When the mist set in, along with the fear and panic, the Shoggoth waited, until the last one said 'Who is attacking us?'. Then, one of the beasts struck.
The sharp forelimbs of one of the monsters pierced through the back and out the chest of one of the engineers in the middle of the group. His gurgling cry resounded in the fog, even as more of the demons appeared and stabbed the man, dragging him onto the mist, to be devoured like a pack of wild pirhanna. Meanwhile, the stomping footsteps of a much... larger monster began to vibrate the dirt, they were so violent.
"Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide... Time to die, mortals." came the sickly, unearthly voice of the Overlord., and a shadow was casting itself through the fog. They could make out the faint outline of something bipedal... and huge.

Tifa fell onto her back after feeling someone stumble into her. She could feel the outline of a face press against her large squishy breasts, and she blushed deeply.
"Uhm... it's fine... can you please... get off? You're crushing my lungs..." she said weakly, coughing in the mist. As for who was attacking them, she had a general idea. "They're not human..." she said weakly, shoving the teen off of her as she got up, but not in a violent manner. She got to her knees, crouching in the fog, keeping the young man close.
"We need to regroup with your commanding officer, and get out of here before-" she was cut off by an agonizing scream, which then forced her to gasp, turning to the sound of crunching and something feasting in the fog. Gun shots also rang out, so she stayed low, pushing the cadet's head down as bullets whizzed over head.

Tifa turned towards the direction of the coming footprints, and though obscured, could see the dark silhouette of something walking towards them upon two feet, hulking in shape, and with a dark, menacing voice.
"Kid, stay low, and get under the vehicle." she ordered, standing up, gripping her fists tightly. Tifa, despite her look, had immense strength. She defeated a Rancor bare handed before, though had to do it via interesting means; she's also suplexed Gorons before too. Still, the enemy wasn't normal; it was alien in nature. She had to be weary. Instead of hiding, she brushed herself off, adjusted herself:
Then continued forward. She got closer to the large shadowy shape, feeling a nervous trickle of sweat roll down her neck. She gulped, but stayed determined. "HEY!" She exclaimed through the fog towards the giant. "You wish for a contest of death while obscuring yourself in shadows? You've got no pride creature!" She exclaimed, taunting the beast, trying to coax it out of the shadows of the fog.
She leaned over, her large breasts hanging and bobbing together as she smiled, letting them knock against one another. Her left hand was upon her hip, while her right was upon her knee:
"Big scary monster afraid to get his ass whooped by a little girl?" she winked, teasing the beast, who she haven't even an inkling of what it looked like yet. She surmised it's height to that of a Rancor, so she expected a tough battle ahead, and even now was wondering if she took her threats perhaps a bit too far...

Re: Mouth of the gorge
Tymbi, or 'Tym' as he was called otherwise, gurgled blood from his mouth as he was dragged off, dropping his Orion AR as he was then brutalized and devoured by the pack of Shoggoth! He tried to fend them off, using his fists and knife, but they stripped away clothing, flesh, muscle and bone too quickly that he was dead in mere seconds to the start of their meal. One of the other soldiers nearby screamed, firing his Assault Rifle at the shadows where Tym had been killed, the automatic rifle jouncing in his hands, blooms of light from his rifle's muzzle lit up his face to a few others.
Their commander, still in one of the trucks, was about to step out when he saw one of the beasts spread across the doorway, looking him in they eyes and hissed in an alien shriek! The commander, drawing his .50 Chimera Revolver drew the weapon's muzzle to the creatures forehead and fired the weapon point blank, twice, and watched as the creature was thrown back into the mist. He looked out the cabin, trying his best to not let the shock get to him even as sweat caked his cap's brim. "Everyone! Get to the vehicles! Stick together and watch your six!" He exclaimed, hand loading two more .50 rounds into the magnum revolver.
The teen who had been sticking to Tifa, Guile, stayed low, freaking out as bullets soared over head, using his hands to cover the back of his head, flinching as the bullets did. He then reacted to Tifa's odd request, opening his eyes to see her walk off! "Miss Tifa! No, what are you doing?!" he exclaimed, reaching out for her as she got swallowed by the obscuring fog. "Damn!" he exclaimed, slamming his fist upon the muddy earth, scrambling towards the vehicle where his commander had been yelling.

The overlord smirked in the darkness of the mist. "Is that what your prey says to you before you slaughter them for meat? Do the chickens and the cows claim it is 'unfair' for you to kill them before they get their chance to fight? Hahahahah, this isn't a battle, War hero. This is merely food hunting." the Overlord returned the mocking tone back to the woman.
When the commander ordered the others to get back into their vehicles, everyone could hear the whirring click sound coming from the monster's shadow, before a burst of large .50 cal Hellbore BMR rounds burst through the mist, blowing it away with the shockwave of it's recoil. The rounds tore up the trucks like they were made of tin foil.
"I told you... there would be no getting away." the creature said, now partly visible to the humans. it's yellow eyes staring at them with hunger and conceit.

"...did you just compare me to a cow?" Tifa's eyes narrowed, and she stood up, grabbing at her stomach:
"Hrmm...." She grunts, getting herself back into a fighter's stance when she heard the commander ordering his troops, shooting his magnum. She then heard the whirling of mechanics, followed by the bellowing roar of booming automatic cannon fire. She cringed, turning to see the obscuring mist float away from the monster firing the twin cannons:
She looked at the beast, who had to be 40 feet in height, equipped with weapon systems and armor as well. It looked like a Rancor, but with much larger eyes that were yellow and reptilian like. Instead of being afraid, she was enraged. Enraged that he was attacking her allies with such sadistic glee.
She silently sprinted towards the creature, raising her leg high so that she would drop her boulder shattering heel and leg upon the Overlord, and his erect, twin firing cannons:

Re: Mouth of the gorge
The commander upon hearing the rotating of high speed guns quickly leapt from the cabin, stumbling over Guile as he grabbed him, shoving him ahead before forcing them both onto the muddy earth. "TAKE COVER!" He exclaimed, as bullets erupted, blowing away the fog as their vehicles got torn to ribbons. Two of the vehicles containing other personnel exploded, dispersing more of the gas, but killing at least five in the explosion. Flames licked the air as the third truck which contained the medical supplies steamed, it's twelve wheels flattened by high penetrating bullets.
The survivors looked over at the beast that caused it all, and the mantis like creatures surrounding them. The commander, palid, looks at the creature. "What-what is that thing?!" He thought it was a rancor at first, but it was too bulky and looked far more menacing. He then looked on with fear as he witness's the woman take that thing head on! "By Frey'ds beard!" he looked about, raising his revolver, but the mantis creatures got in the way. "Damn!" He exclaimed shooting another one of those freaks. "Everyone, kill those mantis freaks!" The other troops, in response began to open fire on the creatures when they spotted them. The air filled with several reports of various weapons, mostly 5.56 rifles, the Commander's .50 Revolver, and a few grenades being tossed by one of the soldiers. Guile looked between the massacre unfolding, unsure if any of them were going to make it, and watched with rising suspense as Tifa took on that hulking beast! He caught a glimpse of her skirt rising however too, and turned away to shoot at one of the incoming beasts, his face as cherry red as the barrel of his rifle!

Re: Mouth of the gorge
The Overlord glanced at the onrushing woman, who seemed determined to damage his weapon system. With a smirk that rippled his teeth, the creature let out a mighty roar, and flared it's power, causing a much more malignant shockwave as it's aura burst to life in a purple/red fiery energy that danced thickly from the surface of it's skin to several meters around it, and throwing the humans away from it violently.
The Shoggoth teleported around the chaotic battlefield, avoiding being blown away by the aura burst of the overlord, and the debris it kicked up, by teleporting about like maniacs, laughing and chittering at the predicament the humans found themselves in. Eventually, they began zeroing in on another individual among the humans. And struck again in a similar fashion.
Impaling another of the engineers through the back, several Shoggoth dragged the screaming, gurgling man from the group, and swarmed in in a cloud of sharpened forelimbs and teeth.
The Overlord, finishing bringing his full power to the surface, was glowing like a living fire, ready for battle. The juvenile Overlord learned very young never to underestimate any foe in battle, no matter who it was. "The true warrior enters the arena with all their powers at the ready." it echoed the words of tutors and his parents.

Re: Mouth of the gorge
"WAhh!!" Cried out the shocked Tifa, forced back, from the blast!
She was forced back, falling onto her plush butt and was dragged back from the force, kicking up dirt and rocks; she finally lost the surprised look on her face and forced herself into a back roll before springing back to her feet. She stood their, arms hunched over, concentrating on her breathing, as breathing was key to such fights, and looked on, unaware of the smile upon her face.
"Heh, I admit, I wasn't expecting that..." she says, standing tall again, using her thumbs to snap her suspenders against her chest.
"...but I never said I'd go easy on you!" she exclaimed, pumping her arms feeling the blood rushing through her veins.
She again charged the Overlord, pumping her arms as she ran, her humongous breasts bobbing as she moved, she leaped from rock to rock before coming up to a pillar of stone, which she drove a side kick into, breaking it's upper section off, launching towards the hulking creature!

Re: Mouth of the gorge
The soldiers flew back, the Commander and Guile being thrown from the cloud in general, landing onto the soil. Guile kept rolling, and ironically, fell into a crevice formed into the earth! "AHhh!" he screamed, plunging into the darkness, his body becoming entangled in roots before he would have fell to his death! The commander turned and looked down at him, had attempted to grab him before he fell. "Guile! Fuck....stay there!" He exclaimed, turning to help the others.
Jhaar ran, bandanna soaked with sweat, blind firing the AR one handed as he tried to evade the mantis things, ducking and dodging them as they attacked, but soon his tank top split open, gushing red as he was lifted off. "AHHH!! ITS' GOT ME!!" He shrieked, before being torn in half, eyes wide as torso landed upon the ground, splatting blood, fingerless gloved hands digging into the dirt, as he stared, twitching, looking at his companions before he was dragged into the cloud of smoke by his strung out intestines... Munching and crunching soon followed with the earth caked in dark red....

Re: Mouth of the gorge
The Overlord raised it's offhand to the side of it's face in a side block, and the incoming rock pillar slammed into the meat of it's scaled forearm and bicep. The massive muscle flexed against the impact, but easily shrugged it off. The creatures teeth rippled as it lowered it's arm and those glowing yellow eyes glared at Tifa through the flames of it's energy aura. Flames of much greater intensity began to seep through the seems between it's teeth, before the creature inhaled deeply.
The next moment, it's head snapped forward, and it's maw wide opened, unleashing a beam of intense violet energy. The wave sliced through the air at hypersonic speeds, moving right at Tifa!
The Shoggoth continued to teleport around, mixing the movement with skittering around the humans both while cloaked, and uncloaked. it was a hunting method designed to disorient and confuse prey. Erratic unpredictable movements alongside their unknown numbers meant the prey could never get a bead on which directions to escape to, or attack from.
One of the younger Shoggoth broke from the group and began stalking towards the trapped Guile under his cloak. The others seemed to have abandoned this one. Never waste an opportunity as they say, the creatures clawed feet and sharpened forelimbs climbed around the side of the outcropping.

Re: Mouth of the gorge
Tifa had not stopped moving as the rock was sent forth, travelling in the shadow of the rock she had launched, ready to make another attempt at hitting him when she noticed the creature rearing back, mouth lighting up with violet energy as the aura around him got thicker. Not feeling safe but knowing he still had control of the movement, she put her very soul into the next action:
She waited, time seemingly stood still as she waited and watched for the maw to aim at her, the blast becoming a bubble of pure hatred before it began to quickly elongate; blasting similarly to the blast she had seen in Jemial hours earlier. However, this one didn't have the same raw power behind it. No, it was scary, but intimidating it was not. She focused her energy, her body glowing slightly as she slammed her right foot upon the ground, the earth cracking as it did, sending a deep fissure that spread its way to the Overlord, shifting his position slightly as the beam's trajectory was altered slightly. Tifa lunged towards her left yet, the edges of the very end of her hair vaporizing as the blast's edge radiated past her!
She sprinted forwards, heart racing as she finally got in range of the beastly creature, wincing through his painful aura as she slammed a right fist into the creatures tight abs just above its right thigh, its stomach relatively thin and tight despite his otherwise bulky and tall frame, her fist sinking up to her elbow as she let out a fierce cry, the atomblast he was firing angled towards his left, away from the vehicles and ADN troops.

Ahmir however, was not just human. Hailing from Domescadia he had been part of a roaming tribe of Raiders who resided in the sands till he decided to leave for a better life. He had heard rumors of his birth, as being part elven, yet had no such traits to prove such. Since he was still in his twenties, he had no idea if he would live longer than a normal human being yet to tell. He could almost...sense their detachedness, even before the attack something did not feel right to him. He could sense they did not belong on this plain, this dimension in general. The uncanny sensation allowed him to almost keenly pick up where they were, but his arm had been injured in the explosion, and he was fighting with one of the instructor's sidearms since he wasn't needing it any longer. He could sense one about to approach from his bad arm, but he backed up as it went for the strike, raising the 9mm pistol and fired into the air, as there was nothing in front of him. However, the alien's blood sprayed from the wounds and two of the others began to fire where Ahmir had marked the target for them, one of them grabbing their injured comrade and pulling him along. They needed to escape somehow!
Guile all the while, suddenly felt a presence, a shadow without a body loom over him. He let out a cry, backing away as the creature tried to grab at him from above! He had lost his rifle in the burst of aura, but soon remembered he had his combat knife:
https://galiavan2657.forumotion.com/t35-adn-weaponry#96
Remembering something unorthodox in his training, he removed the collapsible baton extending it out to full length, but kept the knife locked onto the end. He held the now make-shift spear and jabbed it up, gritting his teeth with some fight in his eyes: "BACK! GET THE HELL BACK!!" he exclaimed, jabbing the weapon up, fending off his attacker.
The commander covered his eyes as the larger creature fighting Tifa expelled a large blast similar to the one that created this crater, but smaller. He turned to one of the visible creatures leaping at him, swiping his heavy revolver across their face as they lunged for him, stunning it, before he plugged two heavy caliber rounds into its gut. He looked about, his cap shadowing over his eyes. It was soon going to be nightfall, and between these stealthy creatures and that large toothy frogger, they were not going to get out of this easily. He reloaded the magnum, his uniform's sleeves rolled up to his elbows now, grease and alien blood covering his fingerless gloves as he slid the large and long cased bullets into the greased, empty chambers. He swung the cylinder shut, thumbing back the hammer, ready for the next target when he heard the cries from Guile. He turned, and headed towards the fissure. He loomed over the opening, not seeing the danger, but Guile was fending something of with his knife-turned spear!
"Captain Nash!!" Guile cried.

Hitting the Overlord's rubbery hide between the thick metal plates of it's armor was still like punching a solid tungsten steel wall. the cybernetically reinforced skeletal structure of the monster didn't even budge, not even under Tifa's impressive strength. It did however, gain the monster's attention, because it cut off the beam as it looked down at her, with her fist embedded in the crease of it's thigh and stomach.
"Hrmmm, Troublesome human." the creature muttered as it reached for her with it's left clawed hand.
The mantis demons continued their distorting attacks, evading fire and spear thrusts with a lithe and nimbleness that defied human limits. However, they did not seem to press their attacks, almost like the humans were being corralled by them for another reason. That reason soon presented themselves.
Three bloberous giant floating heads called Cacodemons descended from high in the sky, raining electrified plasma fireballs from their massive fang filled maws.
Energy weapons fire began raking the outer edges of the human group, penning them in, and melting the glassed stone ground. The laser pulses came from high speed anti gravity propelled recon vehicles piloted by reptillian, almost warthoggish demons at their controls.

Tifa flinched, gritting her teeth, her arm was pushed out, numb with pain, and couldn't feel her own fingers movements grasping or opening her palm. "Tshhhh...ow..." she grunted, waving her arm when she looked up at the monster, who now reached for her with his other hand!
She narrowed her eyes, vaulting back from its thigh, raising her leg to connect her foot with the creature's wrist! "Hiiya!" she exclaimed.
"This bastard's tough, but I can defeat him, if I lose here then the others are lost!" She thought as her leg connected.
